First my credentials: Im U.S. Navy retired with service of 20 years. At the peak of my career I supervised up to 25 Electronic Technicians. Our jobs to conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on electronic equipment such as Communications, Radar and Navigation on U.S. Navy warships , Naval Communications stations and Naval Stations. Now my review of this John Cho State Farm on 3520 College Blvd, Ste 104 Oceanside, 92056. My car insurance payment was $240.25 every 15th of each month the latest on Dec 15, 2025. I had a thought to check my car insurance policy and discover my costs were tremendously increased to $459.08 to be collected starting Jan 15, 2026. They tried bill this huge increase without notifying me pulling a fast one. I call John Cho's State Farm office and talked to his office assistant on Jan 13, 2026 to point out this obsence finding . There was surprise revealed in her voice and she told me she will move quickly and find out why this is so. On Jan 15, 2026 at 5pm there was no return call. I revisted their website and discovered that fraud was taken place that the Jan 15, 2026 bill of $459.08 was erased and back dated to Dec 30, 2025. This worded on this date the $459.08 bill was scheduled . This was viewed by me Jan 14, 2026. Then today Jan 15th the wording of $459.08 on Dec 30th was changed again to include the words a notice of $459.08 was sent out to me which didnt happen and on Jan 15, 2026 that a payment was of $459.08 was received which this also didnt happen. Cause of violation of fair business practice to notify the insured of a substantial increase in car insurance cost and fraudulent rewording of that it was done in their website which is false and also false information about change in billing dates I immediately notify my bank to block permanently any attempt to collect car insurance payments by State Farm violations which are reportable to the BBB, State Dept of Insurance and the NICB. So John Cho had pick the wrong person to put this fraud and trick to think that he could fool a U.S. Navy retired military veteran . Pass the word ,..make sure to check your car insurance and home insurance premiums cause this office tends to wrong even their own customers. John has serviced my insurance coverage for countless automobiles, motorcycles, campers, home, earthquake, personal liability, etc. John even started my kids' policies when they were old enough to start driving - and rental insurance when they got their first appartments. There are two main reasons I keep coming back to John. 1) John's got my back - and your REALLY need that when your back is against the wall and you need someone in your corner. I recently engaged John Cho a State Farm Insurance Agent in Oceanside to quote on my Property/Casualty insurance policy for my Fourplex and Duplex rental properties in Carlsbad. During his review a number of areas were discovered that exposed my estate to unnecessary risks and liabilities that my previous insurance carrier hadn't protected me from. Some areas related to liability while others focused on property coverage where I was exposed to risks that I hadn't been aware of with the other Insurance Company. I not only saved money on the policy, but will have more comprehensive coverage and the service was better as well. This is an Agent that has been with State Farm for over 28 years and has a department specializing in Residential Investments, probably why he was aware of some gaps in my coverage. I was impressed with John's knowledge of the RE rental discipline and consider him an expert in this area. I apply for a qoute last month and they have a cheapest qoute amongst the insurance company but when Stephanie called me the price went up about $200 from the previous qoute but then I agreed for the price because I bind for time.escrow will close in a few days.Stephanie called me back again and told me that the price is higher because their system won't allow for lower dwelling and I agreed for the second time.Escrow close and I'm happy.Few days I received a cancellation notice and called Stephanie and was upset but she assured me that Im insured and I thank her.Couple of days after, I received my policy and lo and behold they insured my previous address not the one that closed in escrow.I got tired of speaking to them.This is one hell of a roller coaster for me.I would not recommend these people nor thier company read more
