The staff provided me with a cost sheet and asked me to sign it, assuring me that signing was not mandatory. I signed it and explained that I needed time to discuss the treatment and costs with my family. They agreed and scheduled a follow-up appointment for October 20th, 2025. On October 16th, I called to cancel my upcoming appointment -- four days before the scheduled date. However, I was told that cancellations are only accepted within 72 hours from the date I signed the form. Because I was outside of that window, they charged me $200 for the consultation and an additional $200 cancellation fee. This policy was never clearly explained to me during my initial visit, and I find it unfair and misleading. Overall, I had a very disappointing experience with this clinic. Their business practices feel deceptive and unprofessional. I would strongly recommend that others be cautious or avoid this place altogether.

He's really careful and gentle with your mouth. Even in complex procedures, I felt no pain. Somehow, even when he gives you the shot it doesn't hurt. How is that possible?! The front of one of my teeth chipped off, and he fixed it so well that my next dentist and hygienist were really surprised when they saw the x-ray and realized that tooth had been repaired! At 10:30am I felt a pin prick; next thing I remember is my brother-in-law helping me out of the car at home. Dr. Cooper provided written instructions and prescriptions in advance. I did not experience any pain. The extraction sites are healing normally. I am following instructions for post op care and taking medicine. I highly recommend Dr. Cooper and his friendly staff. My primary care dentist had referred someone else, but I trust Dr. Cooper after the first experience. He is a nice man, compassionate, kind and most importantly a skilled Oral Surgeon. 1 Star - Extremely Frustrating Lack of Communication…read more Our experience with Rayford Modern Dentistry in Spring, Texas has become incredibly frustrating, not because of the amount of money involved, but because of the complete lack of communication regarding a refund we are owed. We were informed that our refund of approximately $280 was submitted for processing on June 11, 2026. We later spoke with Bill, who told us the refund check had been processed and would be mailed. It is now August 22, 2026 -- more than two months later -- and we still have not received the refund. More frustrating is the lack of communication. We have attempted to resolve this directly with the office, including communicating with Bill and Roxana and following up by phone, yet the matter remains unresolved. No check. No email. No letter. No returned phone call explaining what happened. No meaningful update. At this point, it isn't even about $280. It's about basic customer service and accountability. If there is a legitimate problem processing a refund, communicate that to the patient. Don't tell someone a check has been processed and mailed and then leave them chasing the office for months trying to figure out what happened. We have now had to escalate the matter beyond the local office and contact the practice owner and PDS Health leadership simply to try to get an answer about a relatively straightforward refund. We have given the office numerous opportunities to resolve this privately and professionally. Unfortunately, the continued lack of communication has left us extremely disappointed. I will gladly update this review if Rayford Modern Dentistry resolves the issue and provides an explanation for what happened. Until then, based on our experience, I cannot recommend this office when it comes to billing/refund issues and communication.

Just like in other reviews, the staff seemed to be in a rush. The dentist briefly spoke with me, then got up and called the hygienist. The hygienist who came in was extremely rough -- I've never had to stop anyone during a cleaning before, but with her, I had to tell her to stop. She never once asked if I was okay and seemed to be rushing through everything. In the process, she even cut my lip. When I told her she was being too rough and mentioned that my previous hygienist wasn't like that, she told me they had fired the previous one. Later, I asked one of the front desk staff, who told me that the previous hygienist had actually left to work somewhere else -- meaning the one who cleaned my teeth lied to my face simply because I complained. She also tried to rush me out right after the cleaning, but I stopped to ask about my wire. It felt like the dentists were more focused on chatting and having fun, removing their pimples than focusing on their patients. They eventually told me to go back to my room and wait, but honestly, couldn't the dentist have removed the wire before the cleaning?
