He then brought out about a half-dozen boxes of shoes for me to try on. I decided which were the best fit and asked for my size in a particular color. Unfortunately, the manufacturer makes them in that color but the store does not carry it. Andrew then advised me to go directly to the shoe company's website to purchase my choice. I responded that because of all the time and effort he spent with me I wanted him to get the commission. He said that he wasn't on commission and that it was perfectly alright for me to shop via the shoe's website. I left the store a happy "customer" and he had a big smile on his face. The clearance racks are 70% off! Found a cashmere sweater for only $20 in a gorgeous burgundy color. Didn't buy it because it was too hot for me to think about buying a sweater no matter the bargain, but I did buy a cute green beaded bracelet and a pair of long dangly earrings with clear spherical and oblong beads for a total cost of $19 . The staff were kind and helpful--one gave me the bathroom code when I needed it, and another helped me sign up for the reward program and pay for my purchases. I think I'll have to go check out the Nordstrom rack in my area sometime, because there are good deals, for shoes too!

Upon entry, you are greeted by staff but I can see they watch you like a hawk. I guess it has been because there were theft in the past months so they are careful. They follow you everywhere so it made my shopping experience uncomfortable. I tried on a few Nikes and Hoka but they just didn't fit well. Plus I've seen bettter prices at actual Hoka stores. I do give them credit for having a wheel spin for kids to see if they can win a pair of shoes.
