It's important for me to deepen my relationship with music, and Dennis supports me along that journey! I wanted to express my gratitude for his guidance, patience, and for helping me reach this point in my playing. My favorite moment was when my dad visited and for the first time, I was able to confidently pick up the guitar, play, and sing along while he played the drums. He keeps talking about how impressed he was, and that means everything to me! I highly recommend Guitar Lessons Myrtle Beach and I'm confident that anyone who signs up will see immense growth in their skills and confidence! Signing up for guitar lessons with Dennis has been one of the best decisions I've made for myself!

Working with Dennis has helped me tremendously, especially with music theory, which was always my…read morebiggest struggle. Dennis helped me really understand it in a way that finally clicked. I've grown a lot in developing my own musical ideas--writing them down, recording them, and sharing them with others. One of the biggest highlights for me was writing my own song and performing it at the student concert, where I even received an award for it. That gave me a real sense of pride in putting something I created out into the world. Dennis is incredibly helpful and welcoming, and he truly understands that everyone is at a different stage in their musical journey. The learning environment is relaxed and supportive--not stressful or intimidating like traditional music school. I've never felt frustrated learning here, which has made the whole experience both enjoyable and motivating. I appreciate all Dennis has done to support me in my musical endeavors, reigniting the flame inside me to express myself in the most beautiful art form imaginable.

First and foremost anyplace that gives the customer service I got deserves the stars, especially if…read morenot on commission sales as I took 30 minutes with them on the parts alone and they still helped other customers at the same time. Needed Accoustic strings some replacement parts, gave me a better price than I can get on the net this is for my sons beginner basic guitar from a tag sale. The guy at the counter dropped his jaw when he saw it turns out it's a budget line that was put out in the 70's from Martin that's now a collectible. Gave me a rough estimate of value & told me if ever wanted to sell it he wanted Dibs(lol) didn't try and push me to buy other items not needed, suggested that a set of strings on clearance was better deal than the others. They were saved me about $6.00 and better quality just discontinued stock. I needed a Trombone mouthpiece for an old one I pulled out of the closet from high school 40+ years ago, rather than $60 online or $49.95 in store he had a display one that needed to be polished ?20 out the door. Just picked up a 1920's trumpet on auction needs a mouthpiece, also bought another used cornet needs a little work but I'm just getting back into playing after a LONG hiatus. They have sheet music specific to the instruments, if I need one they don't have (bittersweet symphony) they can download and print what I need already arranged for less than I can. I found an upright school piano on craigslist asked them if it was worth purchasing learned it was one they had sold years ago said if it was still in tune go for it otherwise save my $$$ as it would cost a fortune to tune or if a string broke they were nonstandard & would be next to impossible without changing a ton of stuff. Yet they didn't push to sell me one or an electronic keyboard my Son was looking at. NO PRESSURE SALES unlike some other places. It's called excellent customer service, a very rare thing in Myrtle Beach and Worldwide. If I was playing professionally I wouldn't think twice about dealing with them. As someone just getting back to playing & needing everything was treated like I had spent a million dollars with them. Even suggested a better fingering technique than I was being taught on guitar, since I have arthritis in my hands and wrists super important tip. Now if all the brass instruments come back to me I'll buy the city licenses an play on the boardwalk this Summer. Get it off my bucket list.

When I told John…read morethat it was new and broke on the first use, he looked at it and suggested that it might have been a defective blank, and though he would be glad to fix it, he suggested that I try a warranty claim first. I did, and got a new rod in exchange. He explained how he would fix it and since I had repaired some of my own rods in the past, I was able to determine that he clearly knew what he was doing. So though I can't rate his work, I can rate his knowledge and integrity by his recommendation to me. An easy place to get to and drop off and I won't hesitate to take my repairs to him if needed in the future.

He brought up a subject that absolutely had nothing to do with his business, but made it his and blew the incident way out of proportion. I think he has some anger management issues that he needs to resolve and along with the fact that it is where guns and ammo are located is not a good combination.
