Came here for a 90s party event and was pleasantly surprised with Joe's Live. Parking in the area is easy (well provided you make the correct turn into the correct section of the parking garage). The building itself doesn't look that big from the outside, but once you are the venue is really large. Upon walking in they had a section for merchandise sales, a couple of bar area, a lot of standing tables (no seats anywhere), a main floor in front of the stage, as well as an upstairs. The upstairs area looks to be a great place to enjoy any concert, but that's why it's reserved for VIPs. They did a great job of transforming the place for the show. Lots of fun lighting special effects, fun t-shirt gun giveaways, dry ice floating bubbles - which I never saw before in any show, and of course the balloon drop at the end. Also the music was loud, but you could still talk to the person next to you - well loudly of course, but I didn't feel like I had to shout. I had only a sip of a margarita which was a bit sweet for my liking, but overall a great place to catch a show and do something out of the ordinary!

Came last month to attend an event from 103.5 Kiss FM and had a great time! I reserved a table ahead of time and we initially had an issue with not being able to see the stage (people were standing right in front of us), but the staff moved us to another table quickly and we ended up having a great view. Drinks were good! The shots on the other hand were so expensive! I've never had a $25 shot of regular tequila before that night - ridiculous if you ask me. Overall, the drinks were good, but I found it weird there were no napkins anywhere lol The bartender said they just didn't have them. Post event meet and greet was a little unorganized but I'm not sure if that's more of the radio station or the location's responsibility. Overall, we had a great time! Would prob go back for future events.

The only place in rosemount actually opened for lunch at lunch time! I understand business must be slow in the area but I'm glad at least one place was! Pretty decent bbq sandwiches with plenty of tots on the side. It was about half empty when we arrived but the service was great

Modern venue with great sound. I would definitely come back here again. Staff was friendly!

1st time seeing a concert at Joes. Blew me away. Between the venue and the area. Hotels, restaurants, comedy club and outlet malls all within walking distance distance.

Nice venue for a concert, good sound and lights. It is not to big, but good enough for hosting about a thousand people, I guess. You can get a drink and weather for free.

So... I officially love the MB Financial Park... Rosemont Entertainment Center. It's like a mini Vegas scene with all the bright lights and venues enclosed around a walkway that circles around and commutable only by foot traffic, crowds of people just trying to have a good time... Functionally, Halloween night this year (Sat 29) was easy, no going to Chicago and the hassle of commute and navigation. Did the Disturbia Haunted House (Excellent... best one I've been to in awhile I must say), then some food at Kings, which has improved their cuisine a lot, while watching a bit of the Cubs, then, for the first time... Joe's Live. I love this venue. The place is surprisingly huge, the stage and lights are impressive, and the sound system is clear and very sharp. The Hairband that played that night, sounded amazing. Maybe they're that good, but their vocals were spot on, no muffling by bad speakers or mikes. If someone is playing here, they will sound good, if they are good. Nice venue. Don't hesitate to check this place out. Oops yeah, my friend said a mixed drink was $14. Ouch. Draft beers 6 to 9. I'm glad I don't drink. Sheesh.

Ask the Community - Joe's Live

Is there a box office or can you only purchase event tickets online?

Hey JB, thanks for reaching out! Tickets can be purchased night of as long as the show isn't sold out. We always recommend purchasing in advance just to be safe!

I'm going to don Omar concert tomorrow which says starts at 7. What time would u say it's best to arrive to find a good seat?

The concert I went to had no seats - standing room only - but there were some tables in the bar area. I'd say you should probably arrive when the doors open as any seat/table w/ ANY kind of view of the stage will be grabbed pretty quickly.

Is there any seating in the balcony area? Is there ANYWHERE you can sit during these concerts?

Yes! Depending on the attendance, we will fill in the space with chairs and tables. We also are 100% ADA Compliant as well.

Is there validated parking for attending a concert there or is validation only for the restaurants?

We absolutely validate parking. Make sure you bring your ticket with you to the venue.

    Is there a coat check?

Yes, it's to the right after you come in the front doors

Do you recommend eating before a show or is food available while you're waiting for the show to start? Our doors open 2 hours before the show starts so I wanna get a good spot to stand and was hoping we could eat while we wait for the show to begin.

Hey Nicki, thanks for reaching out! Our venue is attached to our BBQ joint Bub City. We recommend grabbing a bite at Bub City before the show and then heading into the venue after your meal!

Is it still fun if your under 21?

    No it's a bar...no entry under 21.

We had to go all the way down to the hotel bar which is not handy at all. The seating was so tight in the Montrose Room you could barely get around, especially with no coat check. The sound system was not good. The Drummer had 7 mics on him and he was way too loud. You could barely hear the younger keyboard guy (forgot his name), even Althea Rene had to ask for him to be turned up. It has been many years since we were last at the Montrose Room and saw Norman Brown perform. Things were so much better back then and worth the tix price. Parking here can be a mess. We left home 2 hours before our show and were so glad we did. The drive from Chicago's West Town area and waiting for parking alone, took us over an hour. Once in the parking lot, we were fortunate to get a spot around the corner from the main entrance. Expect to wait in a long line for concessions, coat check, and the ladies restroom. Prices for drinks and snacks are what you would expect. However, the mixed drinks we purchased were definitely worth the price we paid. Our server at the bar had a "heavy hand" so there was plenty of spirits in the drinks. Definitely appoint a designated driver. Seats are comfy here and the inside of the theatre gets warm. But plan to sit very close to strangers if you don't have an aisle seat. I like the intimate setting of this theatre. Views from row E were fabulous. Being an amateur musician myself, I would say the only critique I have is that at times the instruments sounded louder than vocals, so it made it hard to hear the soloists at times. Table 12 for the win!…read more I was in Rosemont for a work trip, which usually means dull dinners, early nights and generally a bit Puritanical. Since we were in Chicago, I took my boss and coworker to the Tiki TIki next door for a shot of Malort. It's Chicago, after all. 1 shot became 2, 2 became 4, and before I knew it, the bartender was ushering us through the swinging door into Pete's once they opened. Fun fact: we were the first ones in and also shut the bar down. From the moment the pianists started, it was clear this place was on point. Even them doing introductions and giving the ground rules was done musically. All four singers were wicked talented, and rotated in and out through the night. On occasion, they came together and became a full on quartet playing instruments other than pianos. Vocals were amazing, the energy in the place was such that I didn't even realize the time until they did last call and the lights came up. The layout of Pete's lends itself to entertainment. Regardless of what table you are at, you have a great view of the stage and no one has their back to the performance. The atmosphere is covered with fun and bright signs all over and despite being a larger place, it feels intimate when your song is played and everyone sings along. The table service was also great. She never hovered, but we also never lacked a drink. The next best thing about this place, after the performers, is the level of crowd interaction. There were folks singing along to every single song, and at times it was the whole bar. A couple of times during the night, folks were running around the bar riding a horse's head (or maybe a unicorn) on a stick. Somehow, it all just made sense. Pete's turned what could have been another boring end of a work trip sitting in the hotel into a night full of laughs, shots, and having a hoarse voice for days.

Well, on the night I was there there was a celebration of "La Quinceanera". What is that, you ask? Ahh, glad you asked as I had to also. La Quinceanera is basically a "coming out" party for a 15 year old girl celebrating in the traditional Mexican way. That would certainly explain all the young people (and I mean young!) sipping soda around the bar all dressed up in their finest. I thought I had walked into the middle of a high school dance. For the few of us at the bar who were over the age of 15, I think the bartenders were relieved to be making real drinks as I think the onslaught of "kiddie cocktails" took them all by surprise! Don't get me wrong. WXYZ bar located on the lobby level of the Loft hotel is a contemporary adult space. There are modern couches and chairs clustered around the fireplace as well as a full sized pool table in the one corner. The small bar located at one end has a light "show" that is constantly changing that I found more distracting than engaging. My favorite thing were the bar napkins that had word search puzzles on them- perfect if you are sitting by yourself. This area opens up to an outdoor pool, so I can only bet how lively and fun this area could be in the Summer months. A downside? The parking situation here is a bit of a maze. They block off the few parking spots in front of the hotel for the hotel van and expect you to park in the large parking garage shared with the Muvico theater. All fine and good except the parking garage is expensive (don't forget to get your ticket validated) and it's a bit of a walk if you end up in the wrong section. Follow the signs to "general parking" and park as far south as you can and you should be okay. If you go the wrong way- you will have to circle past the hotel and try the whole parking thing again. Not a bad spot if you just want to grab a drink while waiting for someone's plane to come in at O'Hare or to grab a drink after a movie at Muvico. And hopefully on the night you go- the average age will not hover in those awkward teenage years!
