Does this building have its age? Yes. Does it take away from the overall experience? Not for me. I agree with others here that it is nice to have a venue like this outside the city that still has a lot of top acts and shows to see. I have attended many different events here throughout my life. Chicago Wolves games, Walking With Dinosaurs, Monster Jam, Trans-Siberian Orchestra and WWE Smackdown. I do agree that the place could use some upgrades, but it still gets the job done. Concessions are bit overpriced, but not the worst quality in my opinion. The dogs and pizzas are good, and the cotton candy can't be missed. Popcorn is okay. The staff are usually nice, but the ushers can sometimes be a 50/50 shot between super sweet and a grump. Lots of good memories here, and hoping for more soon. read more

Went there for Monster Jam recently, event was great. ARAMAK was servicing the food. The Pretzel was good The Pizza wasn't. It was Connie's Pizza and the slice was lukewarm So bad that the cheese hardened and cracked across the middle. $10.00 a slice !!! Next time I'll just wait and go to Connie's in Chinatown, where it's Hot and Fresh The girl ( section 112 - 114 ) gave me the slice and looked at me , I gave her the look back and was like ok whatever. I brought my daughter here for Disney on Ice. It was our first time at that show and our first time at Allstate Arena as well. From this experience, it was pretty good. We got here about an hour before the show was to begin and parking was easy. I've driven by here plenty of times along Mannheim Road and on I-90, and the parking lot looked bigger than it was when we were here. In fact, we parked maybe 15 cars from the door and directly in line with where our seat was, which was a nice surprise since we didn't have to wander around looking for them. The seats we had were pretty good. We were in section 214 and it was close enough that we had a pleasant view whilst also being very close to the exit, which was a plus with a toddler who'd only been using the potty for a couple weeks at that point. Speaking of which, there's at least one family bathroom and we made our way to it but it was sticky and kind of gross. It was easy to navigate, humanely sized, and comfortable. I know they have a different layout for concerts, and I'm surprised that Mariah was in this small a venue just a year or so ago and even Bad Bunny when he was maybe still up and coming, but I'd definitely be up for attending a concert here. read more

I was looking forward to seeing Nate Bargatze but the wait time to park, walk to and from the car and exit the parking lot was longer than the entire show. 45 minutes alone to get out of the parking lot was a bad joke. Wasn't able to walk back around to the section I came in at, and made for a long walk to try to get my baring right to find my car. Too many alarms were going off for me to hear my own. Very uncomfortable seats for a 6'4" individual. Girl next to me complained I was encroaching her seat. "Not much I could do about it." At least the show was enjoyable. I have been to Allstate Arena thrice now for three different Kpop concerts and I always have a great time! Despite heavy traffic in the area, the staff always coordinate the parking well upon arrival to the venue. Parking is usually about $20, which is not too bad for the Chicago area. Inside, they do a check of all personal belongings and there are plenty of staff that will help you find your seats. There are also a lot of signs that help direct you to your section. They also have a food bar in the center which has great options, albeit a little expensive. The concert venue itself is great and I have never had any viewing issues. The sound system has also always been excellent, making the concert experience even better. I would highly recommend choosing Allstate if you have a favorite artist coming to town! read more

Went to my first concert here. We sat in the very last row in the balcony. People who worked there were going around offering people in the back rows tickets to sit closer, and offered them to people on either side of me and my husband but completely blew me off when I asked about the tickets even though the man had a stack full. Would have made my night to be closer to an artist I've listened to for 15 years at the first show I've ever attended of hers, but they wouldn't even acknowledge that I'd asked them a question about the tickets. My fiancé and I came to Allstate Arena for the Kacey Musgrave's concert. It has been about 3 years since I've been to the area. We arrived about 30 minutes before the openers started and parking wasn't overly crowded even though the show was sold out. It cost $25 for parking but they take cash or card. Getting into the arena was a breeze with almost no line. Once inside, there were significant lines for merch and drinks. We decided to walk a full loop around the arena to see food and drink options. Most vendors had beer, seltzers, and mixed drinks but certain stands had specialty mixed drinks. We got a double vodka sprite ($22 for double, $16 for single) and a specialty paloma ($22 as well). Our tickets were for section 202, Row B which is the upper level. We had a great view of the stage and adjacent screen. The staff was nice and arena was pretty clean at the seats and restrooms. The sound levels were good and seats not too small. Somehow got out of the parking lot in 10 minutes even with watching the whole show. Overall, we had a very enjoyable night! read more

I had not been inside here for many years now. I attended a Disney on Ice event with my son and mother. I remember seeing the circus here with I was young. It looked a little tired. I think it could use a lot more restrooms. Staff were all helpful and polite. Food was typical game food. We did not eat anything but I could see the options included nachos, cotton candy, hot dogs/hamburgers. Prices looked steep but that is expected. Overall I'd attend another event here. read more

Parking was a nightmare! It took an hour from the time we got in the exit lane on the highway to parking the car. We could see the parking lot, but moving snail pace towards it. Parking cost $25. We thought we gave ourselves ample time to get into the arena, but ended up being 15 minutes late for the show. Very disappointed to miss the beginning of Trans Siberian Orchestra. We came here to watch Disney on Ice on Feb 02, 2024 and I cannot say anything but good things about this place. Any seat in the house has great viewing area of the venue. There are ample amount of concessions so there's never a shortage of food and snack options. They also have very helpful folks guiding you to your seats at every section. The venue is big enough for large events but small enough to make the event seem intimate. They also have ample parking along the arena exterior. Last thing is they are so close to the interstate that is very easy to get around. I went to the home opener of the Chicago Wolves season with my husband and some friends at the Allstate Arena. I have been to the Allstate Arena many times and spent much of chilhood here watching wrestling when it cam to town monthly. Back then the Allstate Arena was know as the Rosemont Horizon. I loved seeing the murals around the building dedicated to those who have performed here. The arena has been renovated since the Horizon days, but I still have trouble fitting into their small seats. The food and merchandise locations are hard to find. Better signage or a map would help. The beer and food were overpriced, I'm glad we thought ahead to eat before we came. Parking was $15 (payable with cash only). I recommend leaving early if possible so that you can beat the traffic out of the arena. Overall, its a fine entertainment venue with no frills. read more

Came here to see the Earth Wind & Fire and Chicago perform. Both had great performances! It was cool seeing them live. Based on our tickets, we had to walk around to the side of the arena for our entrance. It was great, though, we were first in line to go inside because people weren't aware of this entrance. Between that and the parking, it can be confusing. Inside is small, it's like one big circle around the perimeter of the arena. Seating is very tight. Good luck if you need to get up mid performance. I have been here for concerts and wolves games over the years. Parking entrance does get packed, so I recommend arriving early. Once, when I was here for a concert, I had my sweater stolen. It's a tiny stadium that you can walk around. There are several entrances, so check your ticket to see which one is closest to your seats. We are in the Chicago burbs, so of course, concessions are high. Pretzel had no flavor. At the time of post, $9 for a box of popcorn and about $20 a drink. (Yes, you read that correctly) Rows of seating are not marked clearly. The usher directed us to one row, and apparently, we were in the wrong row. An extremely intoxicated patron started screaming in my fiance and another guest face for being in the wrong seats. We had been in these seats for a while, and he and his group arrived late. The rest of us were like ok sorry, we will move. Exit after the show was quick. But I've been here before when it takes awhile. Overall, this place is only ok. read more

Went here for an ATEEZ concert and wow were the lines long. To get in the arena, the wait was about 5-10 minutes which wasn't bad. The food line was also about a 5 minute wait. I got nachos and it was just average. Staff and security are at every door to help you find your way to your seat. The arena is clean and the staff clean up after the concert is done. The concert was fun and the lights and production of the stage were very well organized and made. However, leaving the parking lot is when things get messy. There are so many people trying to exit that people start cutting each other off and trying to exit through different ways. It took 1 hour to leave the parking lot because I was parked in the target parking lot. There weren't enough traffic guards manning traffic so cars weren't moving in lines with no traffic patrol. read more

Serious Safety and Planning Issues at Allstate Arena I recently attended J-Hope's Hope On The Stage concert at Allstate Arena and was deeply disturbed by the venue's lack of planning and safety. Similar issues occurred during Suga's D-Day Tour, making it clear that these are ongoing problems. Fans should be aware of the serious risks when attending large-scale events at this venue. When my mother and I arrived, there was zero visible signage--not even to confirm this was the location of the concert. We saw several long lines, but no staff or volunteers to provide directions. Hundreds of attendees had unknowingly waited for hours in the wrong line, which turned out to be the merch line. As a result, many fans missed part of the concert despite arriving early. This is absolutely unacceptable given how expensive these tickets are. Even when we found what we believed to be the correct line, no one could confirm it. I asked multiple people, and everyone was equally confused and worried. We waited nearly an hour in line without seeing a single staff member. The panic and frustration were intense. This lack of support created chaos and was a huge safety concern. Inside the arena, things only got worse. The venue was dangerously overcrowded. Fans were packed shoulder to shoulder and chest to back, making it nearly impossible to move. The corridors were gridlocked with people entering, lining up for restrooms, and trying to buy merch from the few indoors stands available. We had no time to use the restroom or buy water before heading to our seats as the massive crowding prohibited our movements, making what should've been a 2 minute walk a 25 minute one. The only way through was to shove, or else you were stuck at standstill. Security was scarce. There were no walk-through metal detectors, just handheld wands used by impassive, rude staff. Once past security, we were funneled into an unmanageable crowd. If there had been any kind of emergency, evacuation would have been impossible. With gun violence being a real issue in the U.S., it's important to note how dangerous this setup was. A single loud noise could have sparked mass panic. At the 2025 NCA Cheer Nationals in Dallas, a false alarm led to a stampede and injuries. That same situation could have easily happened here. But in such a tightly packed venue with limited exits and zero breathing room, the results would've been catastrophic. For comparison, I attended Permission to Dance in Las Vegas in 2022 with over 50,000 attendees, and it felt far safer and more organized than this concert with less than half that number. Allstate Arena is not equipped to safely host events of this scale. The merch situation was equally unacceptable. There was only one outdoor booth (the main merch stand), many fans waited 8 to 10 hours, only to find everything sold out. While this falls on HYBE, the venue should have flagged the safety risks. The indoor merch lines for tinier stands clogged already severely congested walkways and worsened traffic flow. Fans reported this same issue happened during D-Day, showing nothing was learned from past mistakes. All in all, the lack of signage, staff presence, clear communication, and crowd management made this event incredibly dangerous. Fans were scared and confused. It felt like a disaster waiting to happen, and the venue showed no signs of being prepared to handle it. Unless major improvements are made, I would not recommend attending any large concert here. This venue is not safe for high-capacity events, and organizers should seriously reconsider booking it in the future. read more

This was my first visit to the Allstate Arena. Easy to get there, it's right off the tollway. Huge parking lots, parking fee was included for the Ringling Bros Circus tickets. Nice! Traffic control and parking was well organized, too. Inside the Arena is also well organized, signage to locate seats is clear. There were also ushers to assist as needed. Seats were good, there were no posts or poles to impede the view. Circus was fun, lots of great acts, mostly acrobatics and other specialties. There was no one to direct traffic out of the parking lot and it literally created a bottle neck traffic jam. We waited about 18 minutes before we got through. Went to Allstate Arena for Disney on ice. They help direct you for big event parking. There is careful thought out process so they are not having people backed up and out to the high way. The ushers are really nice and helpful. They have flash lights to help illuminate your way to your seat. My only critique, there is little to no leg room. If someone in you isle needs to get up. The entire roll has to stand up to let that person out. It's super tight. The show its self was awesome, the kids enjoyed it. read more

I've only been here once for a concert and I can only speak from a concert stand point. Located across a target, and a lot of hotels that are walking distance from the arena. We watched AgustD (Suga of BTS) concert and were lucky enough to score floor tickets. The floor area itself is not that big so any spot would've been good to see the artist. I am not sure if this was with the Arena or organizers, but when we entered the arena, only one concession area was open for the WHOLE arena. I understand we came in earlier than the rest, but I just wish they opened more concessions when people start to come in. I'm impressed with the acoustics of this arena as I left the place with my hearing still in perfect condition. Lastly, even though target is just across the street, be careful if you are thinking of parking there. They were towing away cars that were parked too long. I'm not sure if they do this for every event but always nice to keep in the back of your head just in care. They were towing cars for the three days than Suga had his concert. This was my first time at Allstate Arena for a concert, and while Enhypen were amazing, the venue was super disappointing. Most of the staff (there were a few staff who were actually friendly and helpful) were super rude and complained during the entire concert and after the concert at send off. During send off they kept telling us and Enhypen to "hurry up" and that they wanted us all to just get out of the venue asap. The venue was also super disorganized during vip check in & during the queue for soundcheck. Venue aside, Enhypen did amazing and our view on the floor was great! We love the Wolves games here. The ticket prices are reasonable for the level of hockey and the action is comparable to the NHL. Though I don't support fighting in this sport anymore, sometimes it's interesting to see a little scuffle ensue. The food prices here are OUTRAGEOUS! Roughly anything you get here is $8+, except for beer or "meals" which push $13. I get that this is how sporting events and arenas make their money, but the ticket prices are low to support the working class and then you gouge them with unreasonable concessions. There are nice restaurants close by and some fast food places, so come early, fill up outside and then come in to the arena. As far as the crowd, I was pleased that in the 100 level there were decent humans who kept their language and behaviors appropriate. There are a ton of kids at these games, so it's good to see some maturity at a hockey game. I can't speak for the upper levels. So 3 stars for the Allstate Arena, but 5 stars for the Chicago Wolves organization and the AHL. You should definitely watch a game here. read more

What a nightmare of a venue. If I could give 0 stars or less, I would. We left an hour early and should have only taken 24 minutes to get there but due to poor traffic management, it took WAY longer than it should have. We sat in traffic on the one road into the parking lot for at least 50 minutes. There was no traffic control to be seen until you actually entered and paid $25 to park. Even with "traffic control" there, they were doing absolutely nothing! They were standing around and chatting with each other. Absolutely horrible. Whomever is in charge of this, they need to really reevaluate their parking situation because it is not only ridiculous to wait that long but DANGEROUS. It was just as bad getting out as it was getting in. People were honking at each other like crazy and yelling. Just downright horrible. We wound up missing 45 minutes of the show due to this nonsense. The arena itself could use a lot of updating. It is not the cleanest either. Our seats were way high up in Section 216 and I do NOT recommend these seats. Why you ask? Well if you like cold air conditioning blowing in your ears and face on full blast in the winter time during the WHOLE show maybe that is why. It honestly hurt my ears and I had to put my hood up and couldn't even enjoy the show I was that uncomfortable. I do NOT recommend this venue at all and will not be returning unless I get free tickets. NEVER AGAIN. read more

A nice arena to watch sporting events or concerts. It's located near the highway and has plenty of parking area. Parking can be expensive so, I recommend parking across the street in the lot where the Target store and other shops are. A lot of people park there and just walk across to the arena. Saves you money. The inside of the arena is nice. The seats and their layout is good. My only gripe about this place is the food and drinks. They are ridiculously expensive. A slice of pizza costs $9 and a cup of soda pop is $10 and it's only available in a souvenir cup. Sno Cones are crazy pricey too and also available in souvenir cups only. I didn't even bother to check about how much beer costs. I understand why they are expensive but this is too much. Easily two to three dollars more than it should be. Anyway, all that aside, in my few visits to this arena, I have not had a bad experience. I was able to my cheap tickets for the Monster Jam event the day of at their box office. We sat on the floor and we're not particularly happy with the smells and cleanliness of the area. The arena is small so most seats are probably good. There was zero instruction outside the venue for what lines are for what entrance, so not sure what the purpose of the staff was. People just had to find out from each other and even then, people were not totally sure. Luckily, the line for the South entrance moved more quickly than the other lines. There is a cheap Spothero lot within walking distance for about $10, at a Touhy office building. No gates and not crowded, but safe because a lot of people park there. I enjoy the Allstate arena for a variety of different events such as concerts, disney on ice and sporting events. It is located right off the highway so it is very easy to spot. There is plenty of parking at the site and it usually costs about $25 depending on what event is going on. I've heard some people park at the nearest target or stores across the street and walk in. It's a smaller arena so entering and exiting can get tight inside. It is wall to wall people at times. The workers there are friendly from the parking attendants to security to ushers. Everyone in the building is knowledgeable about where things are. There are plenty options for food depending on the event for which ones are open. Concessions can get expensive but that comes with any arena event. Seats are decent and I mean if you're at concert you're barely sitting anyways. The worst part is the traffic out. Just sit for a minute in your car before trying to leave because you will be stuck in bumper to bumper. read more

I've only been here once and it was for a concert. It was the most amazing, fantastic concert ever (Agust D/Suga of BTS)! Location wise, the area is pretty perfect. There are eateries all down the main road, hotels close by, and a Target next door. We stayed at a neighboring hotel so it was less than a three minute walk. Parking at the area is around $20-25, if you need that. It seemed pretty reasonable to me, since the hotel we stayed at charges about the same. The lines were pretty long to get in, but once doors opened, everything seemed really well organized and flowed quickly. Inside was a little tight but it's easy to figure out where you're going. We saw two concession areas on our side of the building and two merch tables. I didn't pay attention to the food prices or selection, however. The restroom near our side was pretty big, as well. The staff were super friendly and helpful and patient... aside from one usher lady. She meant business! Seats are a bit small but honestly, I don't remember ever sitting down once the show started. I was in section 116, so you can see the view from our seats, which I was very happy with. Acoustics were great, as well! Everything was clear and easily heard, and even though ARMY was so so very loud, I didn't walk away with a headache (which is what I expected). I flew up from Florida for this show. Obviously, Agust D was an amazing performer, and I'll never get over it, but I have no complaints about the venue itself. I'd make the trip again! read more
