I stopped in to make an appointment to have a checkup and teeth cleaning. I informed the manager that I did not have dental coverage and would have to pay cash. she gave me an appointment for several months away. I arrived for my appointment expecting to have X-rays and a cleaning. X-rays were done but no cleaning. that would have to be another appointment. what is that? could you not have told me this when I made the appointment? The dental asst. was nice and brought in a paper with all the work they thought I should have. $6000 worth. Are they nuts? The dentist came in, didn't even look in my mouth, just at the X-rays on the screen. Day 2... Cleaning done. Hygenist was very nice but I was informed it would cost me an extra $50 for numbing and fluoride. I've never had either, ever! She never measured the pockets near my teeth, did not floss at the end or even give me water to rinse my mouth. what the heck. And I didn't get the usual free toothbrush and paste you usually get after a cleaning. I asked her about the cavity they said I have under a crown I have. she told me the Dr was on vacation and that she would talk to him when he gets back. I've never heard from them. I can only assume they don't want me as a patient since I refuse to spend 6k on things I don't believe are necessary. well guess what? I don't want you! what a joke this place is. so now my search begins for a dentist who will fix this cavity and not suggest unnecessary procedures that cost thousands of $$$$. This is a real problem in Riverview when there is a dentist office on every corner!

The environment when you walk in is calm & relaxing and I was immediately greeted in a warm and friendly manner. When they called me to go back I felt calm and welcomed as well! The assistant Lexi & Dr Patel are a great duo. I love working with them together! I needed a bunch of work done in my mouth which we did little by little and another thing I loved was that they let me break up the payments into smaller ones I was able to better digest and fit into my budget! Kim and Dr. Kickish were both so pleasant and patient. They answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable. All service prices are discussed up front so there are no surprises and they even have an in house plan that makes sense. They are NOT the pushy "gotta have this done" and "let's up sell"dentists I've been to. They seem to genuinely care and I felt right at home here! I returned for a second visit as I needed a tooth extracted. I'm not a great patient and even have fainted before, so I let them know my concerns. Though they charged more for oral surgery but never used a scalpel they just yanked the teeth. Also, they neglected to give stitches, maybe for one tooth removal bet, use the other side of your mouth unfortunately, it was on both sides of my mouth, so expect to have gauze in your mouth so the blood clot stays for at least three days. Also, expect no painkillers..... don't even expect ibuprofen 500, go take some OTC Advil and Tylenol, and you'll be fine.... Then when you text them "because your mouth is swollen" they will argue with you over text and try to explain to you why they didn't give you any pain relief or any stitches or any antibiotics because on tooth was infected. So feel free to risk it. Also on a personal note Dr. Seth McDuffie is a cold robot who will have conversations about not wanting to be around his wife while pulling teeth and he can't understand why people spend all their time being around their spouses..... It's called being in love not just loving.

When confronted, they will blame the insurance company as having some hidden clause and hold you 100% liable for the cost difference with no attempt to find a middle ground. In today's world where exceptional customer service is often what differentiates between businesses, this unfortunately makes this office a "no go" for me. If you are a self-pay then I would recommend Dr Harkey every time, but if you are using insurance, I would never trust them to hold to fair billing practices.

I was very scared when I was told by my new dentist that I had to have emergency surgery to have a…read morevery painful tooth removed. It had been hurting me and bothering me for a long time, but I was extremely nervous about getting it taken care of. The care and professionalism shown by Dr. Moffett and his team completely blew away my previous bad experiences with dentists and showed that they truly care about their patients. A lot of doctors and dentists forget how important it is to have a good bedside manner, but Dr. Moffett was so kind and considerate. He was also very calm while discussing the surgery with me beforehand, and made sure that I was comfortable, and not afraid. Seeing how calm he was about it was reassuring to me. He made sure the procedure was completely pain-free and went out of his way to make sure it did not hurt at all. It's about 3 days later and the pain is still very minimal compared to what I was expecting! He really did an amazing job and so did his staff. And they were kind enough to work me in, even in between other appointments, so I could get it done the same day, because unlike others, they really care about their patients and want to help people. The wait time was very short as well. Everything was as hassle free and pain free as possible for me that day and there are no words that can express the depths of my gratitude. One location they sent, it took three visits over 2 months only to have them say they could not do it. Our ortho recommended Moffett and I am so glad we went. First visit one week, procedure the next. My daughter said it was the best dentist she has been to. Something I appreciated, because they did not take our insurance, they gave us a discount.
