They always have appointments available, so I never have to wait to be seen. The techs I've had (especially the one who took care of me on 6/19/2025) are incredibly kind and patient. Both she and Dr. Bui turned a horrible experience for me into a salvagable day. Thank you. The technology they use is very new, so expect that to relflect the price, especially if you have insurance like United Concordia who doesn't like to pay for anything other than a routine cleaning and the most basic type of filling (even then, they only pay half). If you get the new type of fillings, with the ceramic prints... they're pretty amazing. United Concordia will cover part of it, but not all, so be mindful of your insurance. Since it's my back molars, I needed the stronger filling, so it was worth it in the end for me. This office is awesome, but not all offices in the "Smile Generation" portal are as good, so be careful when choosing a doctor on the portal.

The practice bills additional codes and double dips with insurance to maximize profits. Practice should be investigated for insurance fraud. I suggest finding a reputable establishment versus visiting this one. The establishment itself has all the bells and whistles and is aesthetically pleasing but I prefer a dental firm that does quality work, treats patients with respect, and doesn't try to get over. Update: I found a new dental office the same day and had the same procedures that this firm said I needed on my treatment plan. Both are in-network providers with my insurance but somehow the new place calculated at $380 less out of pocket than what Rivercrest calculated. This place is def doing something shady with their billing practices. Ignorance is not an excuse for insurance fraud.

Five Stars Just Ain't Enough... Brandon Dental Deserves a Whole Trophy!…read more Let me just say this....if you're looking for a dental office that actually gets it, look no further than Brandon Dental in Riverview. I've been going to them through the VA Community Care program, originally on the recommendation of my husband (shout out to him for that gem). And when I tell you, this team right here? Top-tier. Like Michelin star level in the dental world. Dr. Z: Hands down, the best dentist I've ever had. He's not only crazy knowledgeable, but he has the kind of bedside manner that makes you forget you're in a dental chair. He breaks everything down in plain language, no high-level dental jargon that leaves you googling later. He makes sure you understand what's going on with your mouth, your options, the game plan, all of it. He's calm, clear, and makes you feel like you're in excellent hands every single time. The hygienist (I wish I remembered her name... pls forgive me) is so warm and personable. Like, you're just vibing during the whole appointment talking, laughing, easing any tension. That kind of energy matters more than people realize. Now let's talk about the real MVP of the front desk, Ms. Denise. Whew! She's a whole vibe......smart, friendly, and makes the whole experience smooth from scheduling to check-out. You can tell she cares and knows her stuff. She's running the front office with grace and personality. I went in today for a bridge resectioning ahead of my ortho work tomorrow. Was I nervous? Yes. Did Dr. Z instantly calm my nerves like he always does? Also yes. The procedure didn't even take long... He numbed me up, polished it down, and boom, I was done; Quick, clean, and painless. That's what I call efficiency. I was also able to see Ms. Denise on the way out. She has such a warm smile and good energy. It was the perfect sendoff. Long story short: Brandon Dental is exactly what you want in a dental practice: competent, compassionate, and consistent. My teeth are part of my overall wellness, and knowing I have a team like this supporting that is PRICELESS. Thank you, Brandon Dental. You're world class, and then some.

Though they charged more for oral surgery but never used a scalpel they just yanked the teeth. Also, they neglected to give stitches, maybe for one tooth removal bet, use the other side of your mouth unfortunately, it was on both sides of my mouth, so expect to have gauze in your mouth so the blood clot stays for at least three days. Also, expect no painkillers..... don't even expect ibuprofen 500, go take some OTC Advil and Tylenol, and you'll be fine.... Then when you text them "because your mouth is swollen" they will argue with you over text and try to explain to you why they didn't give you any pain relief or any stitches or any antibiotics because on tooth was infected. So feel free to risk it. Also on a personal note Dr. Seth McDuffie is a cold robot who will have conversations about not wanting to be around his wife while pulling teeth and he can't understand why people spend all their time being around their spouses..... It's called being in love not just loving.

I'm retired from the world of health care and learned you can tell a lot about a dentist or doctor by the people he/she hires. Dr McDuffie and his team at Boyette Dental exceeded our expectations. They are not only skilled in their jobs, they are the kindest friendliest people I've met at a dentist office. Dr McDuffie is a skilled dentist who helped this "fearful of dentists" person feel confident and relaxed. Our entire family (my husband, myself, and our two children) has been going to Dr. Jennifer Vicente…read moreat Vicente Family Dentistry for more than 12 years, and in all that time we have never had a single negative experience. That alone says so much about the level of care and professionalism in this office! When we first started coming here, Dr. Vicente's father and mother were part of the practice, and they were always incredibly accommodating, kind, and honest. After they retired, the same wonderful culture continued with the amazing Iris and Frances, who make every visit smooth and welcoming. One of the things we appreciate most is how accommodating the office is with scheduling. Whether you need to repair a filling or come in for a cleaning, they will gladly put you on a waiting list and call you the moment a cancellation opens up. Their cleaning appointments book at least 6 months in advance, which honestly speaks volumes about how good they are. I highly recommend scheduling early so you can choose a time that works best for you. Dr. Vicente herself is extremely cordial and has incredible bedside manners. She explains everything she is doing step by step while working on your teeth, which makes you feel comfortable and fully informed. The billing is always honest and transparent, which unfortunately is not something you can say about every dental office. In fact, we had to leave the practice for 1 year due to a dental insurance change and go to one of the larger dental chains. That year was disappointing ~ we missed not only Dr. Vicente but also the honesty, transparency, and fair pricing that this office provides. The difference in care was night and day. We were so relieved to come back. Dr. Vicente and her entire team are professional, caring, and truly dedicated to their patients. I genuinely give Dr. Vicente 10 stars every single visit. Brittany ( Dr. Byars) assistant is as kind and gentle and also gets a 5-star rating. He listened, explained the exact procedure, and what needed to be done. Once I agreed, Dr. Byars went to work - it was painless. I was so surprised (and HAPPY) that I did not jump out of the chair once! Follow-up instructions were followed, and I didn't have any problems or pain after the numbing shots wore off. Very disappointing experience with this office…read more I came in because of their $49 new-patient promotion. During the appointment, the doctor focused mainly on one tooth and recommended treatment costing approximately $2,762. I did not feel that much additional testing was done, and I was not provided with a complete treatment plan. The biggest problem was the communication afterward. I requested additional information about the proposed treatment, self-pay pricing, and my dental images. Although some X-rays were provided, several important questions remained unanswered. I sent multiple follow-up emails and called the office several times. I was repeatedly told that someone would get back to me but I still did not receive the requested information or clear answers. Based on my experience, the $49 promotion felt more like a way to get new patients through the door before presenting them with expensive treatment recommendations. Combined with the lack of clear follow-up and difficulty obtaining basic information, the entire experience left me very uncomfortable. I would not recommend visiting this office.
