I've been coming to Dr. Wareham for several years, after a recommendation from my retiring dentist, but I had dental insurance from my employer. I was scheduled for my routine 6-month cleaning and the office staff informed me I had a $213 responsibility. I explained I had United Healthcare Advantage which is 100% coverage with -0- copay. Dr. Wareham signed the contract to be an in network provider for medicare advantage dental for United Healthcare Advantage, but wanted to pass on the cost difference of his normal fees for the cleaning to me the patient. The office said, that medicare only pays him $37 for a cleaning and $17 for an exam, leaving me with the remaining patient responsibility of $213. I asked to speak to the Dr. after she called united healthcare, because I had already spoken to them to confirm my coverage..... she claimed to be on hold with United, but when I called them back, they had no record of their practice calling. It's bad enough when I pay so much per month for my medicare advantage plan, and then your dentist refuses to obey the rules that they already contractually signed to obligate to honor.

He treated my periodontitis with laser gum surgery (LANAP) - I had two laser appointments and follow-up cleanings: I felt little to no pain post-op. I feel immensely happy with the improved health of my gums. Dr. Witt and his dental assistant, Christian, were highly attentive to my needs during the procedure. If you have a history with bleeding, swollen, or receding gum-line, I highly recommend Dr. Witt's consultation. I drove over an hour away specifically for Dr. Witt's talent. Shirley, the office manager, is passionate about her job. She takes care of business! She will help you find every possible way to get the best quality treatment as quickly as you can. I searched the internet for an emergency dentist that I would pay out of pocket for to get help. The word EMERGENCY appeared at least 3 times on Bayberry's site. When I got there, things were explained to me much better and the communication was spot on. I knew I needed a root canal and was referred out. Although they didn't do anything to help with pain, I was in tears, they at least told me what the potential problem was. I just wish I didn't have to pay $91 for a referral.

I am currently proceeding with caution. I found this office after stumbling across a 50% off Invisalign promotion on IG. After my first visit, I couldn't imagine going elsewhere for dental care. I waited about 15 minutes past my 6PM appt time to be seen. This office is about a year old. The staff is diverse and they made every effort to make sure my visit was comfortable. They have a comfort menu that offers complimentary lip balm, eye mask, blanket... etc. I don't dread the dentist after my appointment at The Dental Boutique. Dr. Vallo was transparent and professional about my treatment. Great Expressions could never compare... they have a tv on the ceiling and one facing you that displays a greeting "Welcome [Insert Your Name Here]". The personalization and obvious care they show you will have you wanting to return.
