When I first visited Dr. Simons I had not been to a dentist in over a year and wanted to find the right dentist and establish a place to go. So needless to say I was a little hesitant at 1st to have him do anything except teeth cleaning. Since I had not been in over a year they they used a 'power scaling' device to clean all the tarter. I went back on a regular basis - actually every 3 months to make sure I was on track. I think I waited until at least a year or two to go by before I actually had him do any work on my teeth. He was very consultative in his approach, conservative and giving me options along the way over the past 25 years. I had some cavities that had been filled for many years. We replaced some of them slowly. We also did inline work, and finally when I split a molar that had a major filling in it we capped that (emergency visit - did a temp same day!). He does beautiful work, always up on the latest technology that is available (but tested). Eventually I started to replace all my molars that had large fillings with caps - before they split. We were conservative and did two a year. His hygienists are both awesome, knowledgeable, great to answer questions and always there to help. His office manager is on top of all the insurance and made sure any reimbursements were taken care of. Professionals all around. I can highly recommend Dr. Simons and his team, they will not let you down!

My first visit I was already apprehensive because of how uncomfortable other dentist made me feel because of the work that needed to be done. One word a lot! I've now had my 4th appointment with them and never in my life have I felt more happier because of the way they make me feel each appointment and because of the work that they have done. I first met Rene,Clarissa, kelly and Dr. Trangaris. My first appointment was With kelly, and she treated my gums. Again never felt more comfortable letting someone work on my teeth. I was…read morea new patient and scheduled online to have a new patient exam which included x-rays and cleaning . When I arrived to check in, I said I am here for my cleaning. Now I go back to the treatment area where I have multiple x-rays done. The woman told me the hygienist would be next. The hygienist came checked my mouth and discussed the issues with my teeth. Now I had been there about 45 minutes at this point. Then the dentist comes in and I said are you cleaning my teeth. He said no that's not being done today. "That's not how we operate". I said I've just spent an hour here getting poked prodded and examined. The clinicians were nice enough but terrible business practice. On checkout, they wrote up my " treatment plan" for approximately $3500. Now keep in mind the hygienist supposedly didn't have any time for my cleaning today however they did have an opening at 3 o'clock if I wanted to have the deep cleaning done for $1000. I called Gentle Dental when I got out for $200 tomorrow they will do x-rays, a mouth exam and cleaning. It should also be noted that I am a nurse and have been to this rodeo. I have four cleanings per year, 2 covered by insurance and I pay privately for the other 2. I know how these businesses operate and this was just wrong.
