On February 11th, one day before their third promised start date, they called and said that they would not do our roof because their crew refused to work on a three story house. They kept our money for 8 weeks and returned it without interest. During this period, we were forced to evacuate our home due to worsening conditions from the leaking roof. This fiasco has set our reconstruction schedule back 8 weeks. Lance did a great job of selling the project and John did a great job of destroying it. It would seem advisable for John to seek a different career path. Their actions in this matter has been despicable, and it will undoubtedly continue as long as they sell jobs they don't intend on completing and they allow their crews to determine their future business.

I had to put roughly $4,000 down and nothing else was to be due until everything was completed and it passed inspection. The workers came and worked one full long day. I was told that some other materials had to be ordered. A worker came back a couple weeks later and was here maybe a little over an hour. I sent Lance photos of items that were not finish and J-channeling that was covered in tar and was not put back into place and some areas where the white trimming was dented. He said he passed the word along. Not long after we had a large hurricane evacuation and I was told that the supervisors wife was in the hospital. So thinking they're waiting on the inspection to come back before they finish thing up everything up I didn't think too much of it when I received a call from Melissa in the office stating that she had sent me a invoice and they had bills to paid and they needed my payment. I was just a little upset. First off why would a business call stating that they needed my payment to pay their bills? Very unprofessional. I stated to her that I was supposed to get warranty paperwork and the inspection paperwork from the county also that the j-channel in other areas had not been taken care of. She said that she would check into it and see what was going on in about getting the inspection paperwork from the county. I paid $5,000 the day I spoke to her(see photos). Which I shouldn't have had done because the work was not completed and I did not have any paperwork showing that it had passed inspection. Fast forward to November 4th I received another statement from her. No paperwork stating it passed County inspection or mention of it, nothing about my warranty or other paperwork. Also, J-channel and other areas still not repaired. I contacted Miguel to set up a day I could be off work to meet him at my house and sent him more pictures. Miguel was to be here today he said I didn't have to be here if he had the pictures. So I sent him the message last night stating I was very sick would be here but I sent the pictures. No word back from Miguel instead Lance calls me. Stating that it was ridiculous that I have not paid the remaining $4,000. I was livid.I already paid them $5,000 more than I should have at this point. with nothing even showing it had passed County inspection no warranty paperwork and repairs still needed to be done. I told him I was Ill but Miguel could come there I would have someone outside to meet him today. He kept on about the payment and that they were in the hole. Here I am with no proof that the roof even passed inspection and the damage still needs to be repaired and you're in the hole when I've given you over $9,000 for a day's work and a few hours of work already?! Lance called knowing I was sick and I told him I didn't want to speak at a time I hung up and he repeatedly called me back (see screenshots) after I called him back and told him I'm sick. I felt like he was harassing me then he continued by texting me trying to turn it around that I was ignoring them. And also threatened to put a lien on my house. https://photos.app.goo.gl/w5rE3cKNwEq6jdTP8

Our home's…read more30foot long E wall had a lot of visible block-mortar lines and 'shadows - like looking at a map on the wall of the block shapes and mortar lines and paths- but NOT ONE CRACK. This knowledgeable and kind pro (w a solid engineering background) explained this was not a stairstep cracking situation (again, NO CRACKS). But rather the well-worn dull flat paint film was revealing what was underneath. Differing expansion and contraction rates of the three 'actors in the play' {blocks, stucco and mortar} was causing what we saw... resulting in it all being so visible (the mortar paths and block shapes). But AGAIN.. NO cracks. The solution? A properly applied high quality elastomeric paint would protect this E wall and essentially serve to bind it all together, on top of it all. We had bought the house in 2020 and it had been freshly painted but w a rather thin contractor-grade latex.. which hid these otherwise visible patterns (nothing dishonest on part of the sellers.. they just painted the house is all). Wow! Nobody out for our hard-earned $$ here,, no siree! [Another company, Stable Foundations (Ft White FL), had also been out and was recommending 6 helical piers to amount of some $11 to $13 thousand dollars. One relevant factor here (in their defense) in this glaring difference of recommendations is, I believe, experience and knowledge. But there IS the solid fact of zero cracks; just visible mortar and block patterns due to the faded thin paint film in need of updating]. Well which one would YOU trust and put your confidence in for having your best interests in 1st place?
