I was honestly a bit skeptical and was worried I might tip over and catch some sort of horrible disease from the Trinity, but honestly it was a a great time and I had alot of fun. I went out in a kayak both times (they apparently offer canoes as well) and I will say that I think I enjoyed the double over the single but that's probably more a personal preference. The trip itself was really enjoyable. I saw quite a bit of wildlife both times and it was quite relaxing floating down the river. The paddling wasn't difficult at all but I did get some not-so-fun blisters...you may want to consider some fingerless gloves (like you would wear for lifting) if you're sensitive to that kind of thing. Sure it's not cheap, but they handle any shuttling (taking you to the launch site or picking you up) and for a 2-3 hour "adventure" it's more than reasonable. Staff was super friendly both times I was there and I definitely had no issues there even with the reservation I made online. Really a great setup and a unique experience that you wouldn't expect in the middle of DFW. I'll definitely be back!

I have been coming to the Cedar Mountain Preserve Trail for a couple years now. The trails are well…read moremaintained, and they offer tools and air to help fill up your bicycle. There are many places to sit down and take a break if needed. At these locations, there are trash cans, which are always well taken care of. There is even a lookout point to view nature and the sunsets. I would recommend this to anyone looking to get in a nice walk or run.
