He gave me a bid of 16K sight unseen. We got the work done from a license company for 8K. They came to the house took measurements and actually looked at the work. I can't speak on Iron brothers work quality, but I can speak on the way they handled my work request. I wasn't happy with them. I feel if it was a 100K or better job, they would handle their customer differently. Actually go to the job site and make you feel warm and fuzzy. I just say get 2-3 bids before you sign on the dotted line.

If you decide to go with someone else, you need to pay double for the blueprints/floor plans. This is something a lot of people are getting screwed over. The designers they use are old school and don't have a website or portfolio...if you don't like their plans your SOL! Your better off to have someone else design and then maybe have them build but they add 40%, so be careful! I've heard that several others found out the hard way and wasted so much money on plans that they couldn't afford to use and they weren't what they wanted.

Alex was able to come by to give us a quote quickly and offered a reasonable estimate. We've had issues with untrustworthy contractors and were cautious when getting quotes. Immediately upon meeting Alex, we felt extremely comfortable with his professionalism and honesty and ultimately went with him for the job. During the work, he uncovered some additional rot to the siding of our home. Given that this was something completely unexpected, he offered us different options such as getting second opinions, etc on how to resolve the issue. We felt incredibly comfortable and decided to stick with Alex to repair the rotted siding. Not only did he do a great job on the siding as well, but he worked day and night to help us repair everything as soon as possible. Alex was communicative, showed up on time and did incredible quality work! We will absolutely be using Eco Home Repair for all of decking repair needs!

Dec 16, 2020, Hired Mike Howard to repair structural damaged to my home caused by extensive dry rot…read moredamage. This was not a trivial job. The dry rot had compromised a main structural corner beam which supported the second story. The repair would first require building a temporary support to hold up the second story while removing the damaged support beam and replacing all of the dry rot wood. The repair process required first coordinating with a structural engineer to design a repair plan and then with the Snohomish County office to issue a repair permit. Mike was very helpful through the entire process. Mike was confident that he could perform the repair safely and within code without an engineering drawing, but suggested that the drawing would likely be required for the county to issue the permit. I decided to get the engineering drawing and Mike was right. The county flat out said that this repair required an engineering review and drawing. I told Mike I would hire him for the job, but only after I saw and understood what the repair plan entailed. Mike met with the engineer to discuss the repair job and then Mike outlined for me exactly how he would complete the repair. While listening to Mike explain the repair process it was apparent to me that he completely understood the structural design of a home. Having a contractor with this type of experience and knowledge was the only way I would go. Mike was a pleasure to work with. He answered all of my questions with integrity and no BS. I decided to take the 2 days off to watch the work performed. Mike had no issues with this. He discussed the work while it was in process and I always felt comfortable with his decisions and confidence. The work was done in accordance to the engineering drawing and the permit was signed off and closed without any issues. The images show the before and after work, minus the exterior wall board nailed up. I decided to repair the drywall and brickwork myself. Thanks for a wonderful job and experience Mike.

We got the following work done from them - Remodeled 3 bathrooms - Installed hardwood flooring on the bottom floor - Painting - Removal of popcorn ceiling - Addition/moving of a couple windows - Replacement of all doors - A few other relatively minor updates Overall, we are very satisfied with the work that was done. The only things I wish went differently were the pace at which the work was delivered, as it took them a couple months more than estimated, and the finishing of tiling work and painting wasn't the finest. He works methodically, use high quality material and tools, cleans up at the end of each day. He did everything he said he would and more. As an example, he installed two windows and we later changed our mind and wanted them installed differently. He said no problem, smiled, took them out without hesitation and reinstalled them. It took him a few hours, but he wanted to make sure we're 100% satisfied. We also found some unrelated siding issues while he was working at our house and he was willing to take on that project to help us out. Should you hire Glassic? If you're looking for high quality work, willing to pay for it (he isn't the cheapest), and OK with the work taking s bit longer - go with Glassic!! Medhi does the work by himself with one additional worker, so you're dealing with one person from start to finish. He would install any brand and model of Windows you want (If you want something specific, it's mostly up to you do the research, but he's flexible and go with your choice). Alternatively, you can go to with a big company with many vans and installers. It will go faster (but not necessarily cheaper), and you might be limited in what brand of Windows to go with. The person who'll give you a quote won't be the person doing the work. There will be multiple installers working in parallel, so faster but lower quality control.
