The hygienist was so patient and did such a good job making her feel comfortable. Sunglasses, bibs, gloves...anything to make it fun. And Dr. Slaughter was the same. So friendly, explained everything he was doing to both her and me. Everyone doled out the high fives freely. Not kidding, on the car ride home, my daughter said, "That was so fun! I wish we could go there forever." High praise coming from a four-year-old speaking about a dentist. We'd recommend Riverbend to anyone looking for a dentist in Jefferson City. Never mind that they were also voted City's Best this year. Just icing on the cake.

Going to have teeth worked on can be troublesome for most people as a person may be scared, nervous, anxious, and experience many other emotions. I've been to Davis & Miller twice; once for an initial exam with Dr. Davis and then for a cleaning…read morewith Aris. Both visits were great. Dr. Davis was very clear on what she saw in xrays and didn't try to up-sell me on braces or teeth whitening (the sorts of things other dentists have done). She answered my questions without seeming to be rushed. The cleaning with Aris was the best cleaning that I've had in 50+ years of visiting the dentist. I've had some weird cleaning experiences (hygienists setting tools on my chest; jabbering away and oversharing; leaving water running out my mouth and down my neck; poking me with sharp tools accidentally). Aris did none of those things. She was efficient, kind, checked in routinely and made me feel comfortable, and my teeth look great! I would highly recommend this dental practice.
