I was looking for an up-to-date office where the doctor and nurses would take their time and get to…read moreknow what my needs are before slamming me with a cost estimate and shaking me down for a deposit on my needed dental work. Boy did I go to the wrong place. I was in a car accident a few years ago (hit by a drunk driver) and had several front teeth broken requiring a lot of dental work. The dentist I was seeing sent me to a root canal specialist to see which teeth would need the nerves removed before the teeth could be capped. The specialist said that we should put on temporary caps to see which of the teeth ended up needing nerves removed because he wasn't sure if the accident caused me to hit them hard enough to kill the nerve. Anyway, I ended up moving and needing a new dentist. The plastic caps still look ok, but I was starting to get a funny taste in my mouth so I knew something needed to be done. Long story short, I heard the hygeinist say to another worker that she couldn't believe I was walking around in public with "those teeth." When the doctor came in, he didn't even look in my mouth, all he wanted to do was talk about how he could give me a Hollywood mouth and told me he could have someone work with me to get financing. Royal waste of time. Since this visit, I found another dentist through a friend whose brother works for a local dental laboratory. I have had one root canal and the three broken teeth have been capped and match the other teeth perfectly. They even whitened my teeth for free and matched the new caps so my smile is better than before the accident. This guy might be the best dentist in the country but few will probably get past everything else to ever know.
