I had a minor fender bender and my insurance company recommended Joe Hudson's Collision Center. I dropped the car off on 06/27/2024 and the repair was finally finished on 07/15/2024 so it took 19 days to get the bumper repaired. Additionally right after the collision the driver side window stopped working and was stuck in the open position. When I dropped the car off I told them to also repair the window because it had to get fixed regardless whether if the insurance covered it or not. I was going to pay for the window repair separately myself. Over the course of the 19 days I reminded them twice more about the window, and about fixing it. They ended up never fixing the window. So I had to take my car to a different shop after the body work was done. The repair work on the bumper was done very well. But unfortunately it took a long time to finally get my car back. read more

Horror Show! Driving down to Florida from Maine this winter a deer ran into our right front fender. My insurance company recommended Joe Hudson's Collision Center in Crystal River. The car was dropped off 12-12-24 and we were advised we would be given updated text messages on the repair process. We rented a car and waited. Sure enough we started receiving the updates the only problem being they were all bogus. When we were notified of the date the car could be picked up we turned in our rental vehicle and advised Hudsons when we would stop by to pick up our car. "oh no your car isn't done yet", what do you you mean your text says it's ready? "The insurance company makes us send those texts out"?? No communication from Joe Hudson. I'm calling every week and get the same baloney "your parts are on the truck, this week for sure" "oh they didn't come in". It was clear who ever ordered the parts forgot items needed to repair the car. I picked up the car uncompleted waiting on a fender liner and mud guard. More calls, I advised them three companies on line have those liners in stock, "oh we can't use those companies only our distributor". More calls none from them, month and a half later the car is done. I reminded them in advance the car was missing the fender liner, mud guard, and my license plate. Your all set was their response "we located your license plate". Pick up the car after over 3 months no mud guard. "oh we'll order you one". Spoke with Billy the manager a deal was struck I'd get it done myself and bill them. He agreed. Bill submitted no check. This by far was the most unprofessional screwed up business I've ever dealt with. My next move is to call my insurance company and advise them to drop Joe Hudsons off their list. Mud guards were available everywhere I couldn't wait a month for you to come up with them. Who ever your parts distributor is you need a change. I had a set in 3 days put it on myself , charged you next to nothing and you couldn't figure out how to send me a check? I mailed you all the billing documentation checked on it and "oh we never got that" emailed it all to you and never heard a word. Your communication system is poor at best. Maybe you could do away with the bogus text messages and actually have somebody return a phone call. read more

I would not recommend Joe Hudson to even my worst enemy. They had my vehicle after I was in an accident - took them much longer than anticipated, as well as horrible shoddy work. Parts that are visible on the exterior didn't match the other side, the paint that they 're-painted' is bubbling and peeling and a noticeable different color, my vehicle had zero gas in the tank as well as they hadn't noticed that the oil tank was completely empty...Then to top it all off, the ac was working wonderful as soon as I left, but drove literally a mile down the road and the a/c stopped completely. Manager was fired the next week it was so bad...but of course they never fixed my car! DON'T TAKE IT HERE....have your crazy neighbor who knows nothing about vehicles fix it before you take it to ice cold hell. read more

Joe Hudson's couldn't care less about giving clients their estimate I was gonna wait 2 weeks to get an estimate at their convenience. When and how the work would have been done would have been another 6 weeks. This shop is too big for their breakfast and couldn't give a d*** about their customer. They're tied into the insurance industry at ignore all else as long as they're getting paid through the insurance companies. Don't take your car here. They told me and my insurance company 30 days and here it is now 2 months and I still don't have my car. I know there are issues with parts these days so I give them an extra two weeks over the 30 days. Then it was "waiting on an alignment". Then it was "oh, wrong part was sent". And now we are "waiting on right part" now.... They assured me it wouldn't be another week...but here we are. I was reading through other reviews and several of them mirror my experience. The kicker is, my car was drivable when I dropped it off. Had I known they didn't have the staff, the manpower, the "waiting on parts" to fix it in 30 days, I could have least been spared an extra month of waiting and being without my only transportation. I totally believed them in the beginning of this ordeal but I'm sure they have not been truthful with me at this point. It's stressful enough to be in an accident but then to be taken advantage of after the fact has made the stress of all of it off the charts. Recently had repairs done on my car at Joe Hudson. They did good work and were convenient dealing with my insurance company. They were also great about texting me updates about repairs and the completion date. I received FOUR updates via text message stating "your car is right on track and will be ready December 14th." So to my surprise, when I showed up on the 14th I was informed that my car had been ready since the 9th!! ‍. That means I got charged $270 for the extra 6 days I had my rental car that my insurance won't cover! Joe Hudson's lack of communication just cost me $270. THEY SUCK read more

We had a great experience with this business, Had to have the entire passenger side of my GMC Sierra repaired and our dealership recommended we take it here. Not really knowing anything about the place I was leery. Since our insurance company USAA also recommended the business too we decided to try it. Took it in back in November but scheduled repair for January for several reasons. Dropped her off on Monday and held my breath. By Monday afternoon I had a text update letting me know the status of our truck. We received daily updates by text or email. I was thrilled to get a call Thursday saying we could pick her up Friday. She looked beautiful. They did a fabulous job on the repair and every single person we dealt with was friendly and professional. Everyone wears a mask and our truck was cleaner than when I left her there inside and out. I hear nightmares about body shops all the time but I have to say this was an awesome business with quick, friendly and professional staff. They even let me take a magazine from the lobby because I was reading an article while waiting on my estimate. Go here! read more

I would like to break down into more detail of my experience with Car Guys Collisions employees and manager. I got into a wreck yesterday that was not my fault. The insurance company took full responsibility for the damage and sent the information over to Car Guys. I spoke with a female representative and explain my situation to her. She stated that Enterprise had no cars, I had already spoke with Enterprise and reserved a car. Her response was just rude. "I am just telling you they told me" is what I was told. Absolutely uncalled for. So I asked to speak with the Manager Sean or Shawn got on the phone and again poor customer service. I tried explaining what my goal was and what was on my schedule. Again I did not cause this accident, so I am just trying to get my vehicle fixed, get a rental and be on my way and continue on with my life. The manager asked where the damage was and I made a mistake, I stated the Driver, passenger rear door. mistakes happen, His response was with a laugh, "Well which one is it the driver or the passenger". So I politely stated so I made a mistake at how I presented the information. At this point I was just completely done with the experience that I received from this company. The conversation ended, I actually called back just a few moments later because of the experience that I had. I wanted to speak with his manager or general manager. Can you believe he hung up on me! The Nerve! So I left negative feedback on google with a short paragraph of my experience. Car guys responded to the negative review and this is the most important part Please READ: "I see that you used to own your own business and am surprised that you as a former business owner would go out of your way to try to badmouth them because another business could not produce a rental car in a few minutes notice with no reservation. I wish you the best of luck with the repairs to your vehicle. I believe the way you conducted yourself would earn you a one star rating" I already had a rental car reservation, If their attention to detail was correct then it would not have come to this. They even pushed it one step further, Fake Facebook accounts where created and have left negative reviews on my local business entity. I have Facebook looking into this, because honestly I believe that it was based on what happened today with this company 100% retaliation for not giving them the claim and for leaving negative feedback. Hinse the above statement that was left regarding my business entities from their company. I have also contacted the insurance company that they are in contract with and provided all of the information that was documented from my experience, the reviews, and the documentation that was recorded. The Regional office manager that handles where the claims go is also getting involved and receiving the same information. I have also provided this information to the BBB and opened a claim with them. It is not like I asked for this accident to occur. So this is an already unfortunate event, why provide bad customer service when you are getting easy money from a claim. Also moving forward, Really get to know your local, state, and federal laws when it comes to calls being recorded. You may also want to study up on your business ethics & morals. Just remember Civil suits do exist and slander, defamation, and libel statements that damage a company reputation hold consequences. All can be proven. To end this, I would like to state that I am a former Quality Assurance Supervisor for a multi-state call center, Customer Service is a must. Car Guys did a horrible job in my car. We chose Car guys because our insurance listed them and guaranteed the work, plus they were the closest to our location. We got into an accident and the front left side or our vehicle was in pretty bad shape. They took about two weeks or so to fix the car. However, when we got it back, we didn't check it in detail in the shop. But when we came home we saw that the hood was not aligned, there was a big gap above the left headlight! When we popped up the hood, it was a pretty messy job inside as well. We called Car Guys and there is a very rude employee named Rich. He does not understand the concept of customer service. A very ignorant person who cuts you off before even listening to what you have to say. Now, a week and a half later our radiator leaked out all the fluid. And Mr. Rich says that its not their problem "they didn't touch the radiator". Mind you, the radiator is located in the front of the car. How can they fix my front pretty damaged car without touching the radiator?? Plus, in the massive bill they charged my insurance, one of their many charges says "remove/replace coolant". And yet they "didn't touch my radiator". I am very astonished and horrified about their enormous lack of care about their customers. I do not think I am the only one who has had a bad experience with them. One of the times in the office, there was one pretty pissed of dude talking to Mr. Rich.... My recommendation is STAY AWAY! ...Save yourselves the headache! I wish I had. read more
