Sunday while out with my friend in the Withlacoochee State Forest, we were driving on the hard…read morepacked sand trails until we suddenly hit deep sugar sand and became stuck. We tried different ways (boards under the tires, limbs under the tires, etc) but it was soon evident that we needed a wench. I called AAA and they refused to come because we were more than 100 feet off the pavement. Thankfully when I searched for the closest tow company, GS Auto Towing came up. The dispatcher informed me that they had a 4-wheel drive tow truck and he would dispatch Jon Gonzalez immediately and that Jon would call when en route. Within a few minutes Jon called to advise me of his ETA. He also knew exactly what trail we were on. Jon arrived on time. He immediately explained what he was going to do to get my car out. He was very careful with my car and was able to quickly wench it out of the deep sand. Once we were back on solid ground, Jon had us follow him in case we got stuck again, he would be able to pull us out. Luckily we were able to drive to solid ground again without any issues, It was very frightening to be stuck in the middle of the forest. Jon was able to turn the situation around very quickly. It was only approximately 1 hour from the time I called until we were back on solid ground (paved). I can't say enough good things about my experience. If I could give 10 stars I would! While trying to explain the situation I was having his exact words was he did not give a fuck about my problems. little did he know that my problems was his problem because his driver was getting ready to do an illegal tow. They did not even check to make sure they could legally tow my vehicle and they attempted to do so anyway, my vehicle was parked in front of my house and there were no no parking signs but my park manager attempted to have my vehicle towed because she is a turd. after hearing about the things at the boat dock, where a guy was getting his vehicle towed out because down into the water while trying to get his boat hooked up GS towing showed up on the scene and started yelling out of their trucks stating that the customer picked the wrong tow company and that's why they get their truck out. And then left did not offer to help the other tow truck driver. Did not offer to help the other small business that he seen was struggling and did nothing. People seem to forget when they inherit stuff that it takes respect and dignity to successfully run a business, and the new owners have none.
