From occasional piano bar to karaoke. This is probably hands down one of my top 3 favorite bars when it comes to having a consistent tasting cocktail. We had several shots that night and surprisingly they had pizza! So, we ordered a sausage pizza as well. The bartenders are amazing there and I always have a great experience!

The bartenders were helpful and I appreciated how they had a specific spot to stand if you wanted to place an order. Genius! They had live music when we got there and it was quite loud so it was hard to talk to people at our table, but we managed. They had some bar games that some people were playing and the atmosphere was just right for a chill Friday night. Some of my friends were hungry so they ordered a pizza which looked good. It was typical bar food so they said it was just okay, but since they were hungry, it was enjoyed! They have some seating outside, but it was too cold to be out there. But I can see this being a fun spot in warmer weather! Bathrooms were clean which was impressive for a Friday night.

Nick's stays open until 0100, so we had plenty of time to not force the kitchen staff to rush. A neat corner pub on the edge of Dogtown. There were only a few patrons there, the staff were helpful and friendly. The walls are decorated with sports paraphernalia. The sign on the wall says they have karaoke on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Outdoor patio seating available, along with a game room. Started off with an order of toasted ravioli - beef. Great flavor. I opted for the cheese quesadilla off the appetizer menu with the added chicken. It was packed with chicken. Made for a great meal. The other option at the table was a burger with chips. Thumbs up all round. They have coke products an added bonus for those of us who do not drink. Coke is the only soda option, IMO. The food was good and worth a visit. I was there in an off night after 9:00, so cannot speak to the crowd or noise level.

But everything was hot and service was decent, even though the bartender seemed to keep forgetting us a bit. My only complaint was that the smoke from the outdoor side drifts in so there is always a bit of cigarette smoke in the air and could be a touch warmer as well, but we would go back again.

We went around 4:00 on a Saturday before a Cardinals Cubs game, it was also raining and they had a wedding on the patio. Incredible service, friendly staff and quick drink refills. The owner and staff handled the situation flawlessly. The owner was super attentive, and once they slowed down the he was very cordial and easy to talk to. We will definitely be back!

They are one of the few restaurants in St. Louis that still serves the famous St Louis Mayfair dressing. But, yikes! Ordered a hamburger. Server did not ask how I like it cooked. The burger came out well done, was extremely over seasoned, and was so dry it as inedible. When does ANYONE not be able to finish a burger. I stopped eating it not because I was full, but it truly was inedible. It was thick like a good burger should be. It should have been juicy and flavorable, But it wasn't. I should have said something to the server but I didn't. If you're in the city, O'Connels is still the best. Do NOT order a burger at Faloni's.
