She is very experienced, caring, knowledgable, and interested in taking the time to learn your situation, and address your situation with a personally tailored approach. I have been seeing Jodi consistently for 8 months and I have had great changes in my body. I love that Jodi listens to my pulses, looks at my tongue, as well as asks what I am going through in my life and what I want to change or work though before starting treatment. I am free to be as open or closed and as detailed as I wish and she uses all of this information to determine whether the treatment should be front of body or back, cups used, electrical pulses on the needles, and where those needles should go. She is very experienced and highly intuitive. I also love that she works on the feet, some lymph, head, face, neck, and shoulders. I have been seeing the wonderful Jodi Weitz for many years. Her treatments were key in balancing my erratic hormonal cycle and got me through a pretty rough peri-menopause time, as well as greatly reducing the stress I incurred at the workplace. I'm very sensitive to needles (most people don't feel acupuncture needles at all), and Jodi has available the thinnest acupuncture needles - actually Japanese needles - that she doesn't hesitate to use in addition to guiding my breath during needle insertion. If anyone has a fear of needles and/or is physically sensitive as I am, you are in good hands with Jodi. What I also love about Jodi's practice is that she's in the room with you during most of the treatment. While the needles are in she's also giving you foot or cranial-sacral massage. She can also do cupping, scraping, and use the Tens machine as needed. She will ask what's going on and how she can help in addition to taking the pulse and looking at the tongue, then intuitively designs the treatment on the fly to best assist your healing. I first met Jodi when we moved into an office together. I had been rear-ended and felt terrible with a massive headache, locked out neck, pain reaching down my back, and a feeling like I was in a vice grip being twisted down on me. My left knee got a torn meniscus hitting the door of the car, and I could hardly walk or do stairs. This, and other symptoms, all made me very nauseous. I had work to do, before I could drive to see my Upper Cervical Chiropractor, and Sports Practitioner, and had never been to an Acupuncturist before. Jodi had time, and insisted on helping me. I was grateful to have time too, and took her up on her offer. Jodi was amazing, and I couldn't believe that Acupuncture could give me as much relief as it did.
