And if you like an eclectic office, I always enjoy whatever seasonal decor they have. On the practical side, I've seen chiropractors on and off for years. Dr. Mike is great at talking you through everything he is doing, and also has good recommendations for stretches, exercises for strengthening, as well as sort of "micro-chiropractic" things for stuff like jaw pain. I also appreciate the TENS service they offer after. I can feel a little off kilter after an adjustment, and so it is really nice to rest with the electric stim after. A person came in and did all the preliminaries, data checks, height, weight, BP, etc. Shortly thereafter the Nurse Practitioner arrived. She asked pertinent questions. She must have re-read the paperwork from last year. She was prepared for our encounter. She actually listened to what I said. Amazing! She put me at ease, yet checked off all the blocks involved in the annual "wellness check". She offered some very real suggestions. She did all the required "physical" stuff, and even some extra checks. Super competent. Additionally, she possessed a good technical depth about some of my health concerns. She knew what she was talking about, and gave both sides of a topic. I especially liked the, "if I were advising my own family member" approach. Just a good solid competent straight ahead response to my questions.
