Before you explore, sign the guestbook, read about the gallery's history, and take a pin (for free!). As you wander through the gallery, you'll see it's really two main rooms and the exhibits change every few months. The exhibit I saw was very modern art forward with perfect lighting making it look good on Instagram. If you're in the area, stop by. It's free and will only take 10 minutes, but it's worth it!

As an Annapolitan I have long been familiar with Nancy Hammond Editions and I was excited to see she has a gallery in Saint Michael's in addition to her downtown Annapolis location. I think the Saint Michael's gallery might only be open on the weekends but its is beautifully done and worth a stop. When I visited a colorful heron print called "Trumpet Vine and Marshmallow" was featured up front and I just kept starring at it and all the lovely colors. There is something fun about the long-legged herons and this piece really captures that for me. While Nancy Hammond does paint a lot of herons she is also known for capturing Labrador retrievers, the Naval Academy, Annapolis, sailboats and other common sights of the region. Nancy Hammond is a very accomplished artist. She attended the prestigious Rhode Island Design School and I recently learned that some of her work has even been featured in the Baltimore Museum of Art.

However, when I began to move in and put stuff away I noticed that the inside of the kitchen cabinets and drawers were not cleaned at all. I ran my finger across the bottom and there was so much dust and debris. The same goes for all of the light fixtures. It seemed like they didn't dust anything and just did a surface wipe down. I ended up having to re-clean everything myself. I was very disappointed with having spent $400, I definitely felt like I didn't get what I paid for. I will say that they were kind when I spoke with them on the phone, I haven't had a chance to call back regarding this issue (I had it cleaned in the beginning of April) and I know it's well past that time but Ive had a lot of things hitting me back to back so tried to let it go and I'm sorry, I just couldn't. It bugs me a lot. I'd definitely be happy if something could be worked out regarding this but I also completely understand if nothing can be done because it's been so long. Like I said, they were very kind and did a great job with the appliances, I just strongly urge you to thoroughly check after they're done cleaning.

My husband contacted HVAC Direct Heating & Cooling after normal business hours concerning our A/C…read moreunit at our personal residence was ONLY blowing warm air!! Now the previous evening, my husband contacted a large local competitor to check our HVAC system. Technician from local competitor came out and looked out HVAC system, didn't test any components and stated "our compressor was locked & leaking refrigerant and quoted my husband $6k to replace it or we can purchase a brand new HVAC system for $25k!!!" (NOT TRUE!!!). The tech even left our outside power switch unplugged so we couldn't test the system!! SMH!!! We won't contact them for any service ever again nor recommend them to any neighbors, friends and family!!! Joe K, Service Technician at HVAC Direct Heating & Cooling contacted my husband within 20 minutes of him contacting the office the next business day and scheduled a visit that evening. He came out to the house, checked the compressor and quickly diagnosed the capacitor as the problem & replaced it. And Joe K. even showed my husband how he diagnosed the capacitor as the issue NOT the compressor leaking refrigerant as stated by local competitor!! No refrigerant leaking at all!! Compressor in good condition!! In addition, Joe K., checked the wiring, fan, all associated parts and cleaned our a/c unit. No issues at all!! Just some cleaning needed!!! HVAC in excellent working condition AGAIN!!! In addition, he checked our furnace, cleaned some our internal components and showed my husband some DIY things to do to maintain our HVAC system throughout the year!! Amazing work & Professionalism by Joe K!!!! I returned home from business travel to a COOL & COMFORTABLE HOUSE!!! ALL Work completed in an HOUR!!! (less time than the large local competitor spending 2 1/2 hours trying to sell my husband a new HVAC system)!! Joe K. was amazing, excellent communicator, knowledgeable and very professional!! I had the unfortunate experience of opening a evite dinner invitation attachment on an email from a known acquaintance which turned out to be a Remote Access Trojan (RAT). I tried several times to clean my hard drive with Nord VPN Threat Malware and Malwarebytes programs which found nothing. A backdoor was established on my laptop and I could see the intruder's mouse pointer navigating throughout my laptop while my mouse pointer was disabled. The only solution to stop it was to sever the internet connection. The issue persisted for several days when I would reconnect the internet. The intruder wasn't always present but I could see when they were. The intruder got into my Google password manager, Quicken account and attempted to make Amazon purchases. I was running out of airspeed and ideas and recognized that I needed professional assistance. I researched locally for an I.T. firm and found Will Get IT Done. I met with Will who examined my 7 year old laptop and he recommended I simply replace it as the cost to wipe it clean/replace the hard drive and reload would be comparable to a replacement. Although working just fine prior to the intrusion, given the age of my laptop I took Will's advice and purchased a new laptop. Will and Nicholas transferred all of my clean files from the old to the new laptop in their lab leaving the RAT in the old hard drive. I am now back in great shape. The total cost was well worth it for the peace of mind. If you need any I.T. assistance do not hesitate to give Will and Nicholas a call. They will deliver!

They host classes and events such as (but not limited to) open studio, special events which focus on a theme or specific art, home school, sewing, and digital art. My daughter has visited Artsy Partsy many times throughout the years and each time she comes home with amazing art to showcase. She has been to a few summer camps, individual workshops as well as private sessions. My daughter's school hosted a paint night with Artsy Partsy which turned out to be a hit. Additionally, my daughter's girl scout troop joined Artsy Partsy's 1.5 hour drawing event which covers all the requirements for Juniors to earn the Girl Scout's Drawing Badge. My daughter really enjoys creating art and has gained many skills from Artsy Partsy. Our family will continue refer them to family and friends as well as continue to attend any workshops they host!
