Didn't know how long it would take, but they would request it from the manufacturer and let me know when it came in if I paid in advance. Asked if it could be expedited, but they said no, it will get here when it gets here. So I prepaid in full and waited impatiently. They accidentally put two charges on my card, the right one, and an extra one that was clearly in error, so I called again to complain, and they managed to reverse the second charge, after several calls and a few days. About a week after the order, when there was no part and no update on delivery time, I found an online site that promised to send it to me, and I ordered it from them (pellethead.com). They sent me the part for less than half the price I had already paid, and got it to me in 2 days. Hated paying for it again, but I needed it right away. The repair was promptly completed, and Acme still didn't have the part. They wouldn't cancel the order. Eventually I was told that the part came in, but by then I was out of town and couldn't pick it up, and didn't need it anyway. Probably could have made a trip to the area to pick up the part, but that would cost far more than it was worth. I don't know what happened to the part, but I never got the part or a refund.
