Wow. I'm so glad I contacted Kevin and his team. Our plan was to get several quotes and we got…read moreabout 10 different ones. We had 10 fairly large windows that we wanted automated motorized blinds for so we knew this was a fairly large job, but the pricing went from reasonable to astronomical. I would highly recommend getting several quotes before actually moving forward with any company as you never know what you're getting into unless you do your research. Anyways back to Pride Window Fashions. Quality 5* After reaching out to several companies that offered a wide range of shade materials, Kevin had the best bang for the buck. Instead of that plasticky materials he was able to offer high quality fabric for less than the competitors. Service 5* Kevin was responsive and thorough. He quoted me about 3-4 weeks to order the materials and get it installed. Through that time he kept us apprised and showed up promptly with his team for the installation. The install was quick and took about 2 hours to install the shades, setup the automations and show us how to use it. Price 5* Not only was his pricing solid, but he did it while offering a better product than most of his competitors. No upselling either. After meeting with several window treatment companies, there is definitely a lot of upselling and dishonesty. I got none of that from Kevin, just a man who cares about his craft and has been doing this for 15 years. I can honestly say this with certainty and after reaching out to several different companies, don't bother looking elsewhere and just give Pride Window Fashions a call.

He was punctual and so professional. There was no haggling or hiding behind the price. It was straight forward, simple, and SO REASONABLE too. Install: Within 4 weeks my blinds were ready for install. Again, Kevin was punctual and professional. Blinds were installed in no time. We were so so so happy with the product. Then, the kicker... Two days after install, our housekeeper broke a blind! She didn't realize they were motorized and essentially ripped it off the mount when we weren't home. I text Kevin in a panic. He was at our house within hours. He spent over an hour repairing OUR mistake and even stayed to show us special settings. He did this all within warranty even though it was not a product defect (it was completely our fault). To say we are happy with this product and company is an understatement. Kevin and his company have our business for years to come! 10/10 5 star review!

We recently purchased a home in Fullerton and needed window treatments. We vetted around 5-6…read morecompanies that had near 5 star reviews on Yelp. We wanted to do 8 plantation shutters (living room huge window, family room window, 4 bedrooms with multiple windows and 4 solar shades (bathroom, kitchen window, pantry window). What we learned in the process is that price range can vary quite a bit. You can get good quality basswood shutters or vinyl for $4000-$5000 range which is cheap for a whole house. These are the companies that assemble in-house and they seem like great folks and have great results so if doing shutters on a budget I recommend that route. But the issue for us was we wanted the invisible tilt mechanism by Norman shutters. If you look around the classic tilt mechanism is either old fashion tilt rod or the tilt system in the rear but the mechanism is visible. We wanted a very clean look and for that you need a shutter that has the mechanism hidden inside the frame of the shutter with no visible pieces external. This lead us to the Norman shutters and their Woodlore line. The other issue is we have a big window in our living room and so many companies wanted to split things up to distribute the weight so it would not sag over time. But the splitting took away from the aesthetics and the design we wanted which was to follow the innate design of the window. This lead us to the Woodlore Plus line (much lighter than regular Woodlore). The only guy who could do all this at a reasonable price was Rick at Budget Blinds. He has the experience to deal with difficult windows (our master bedroom) and our big living room window (with our design tastes). Rick is just a straight up dude and super kind and very personable. He takes his time at the initial consultation. Really easy to work with and talk to. His price was great compared to other companies that offered the Woodlore and their proprietary invisible tilt mechanism. When you are bringing people into your home it's exhausting and inconvenient so you want to work with someone that feels like a friend and that is Rick. We enjoyed his company and working with him. We've already referred him to another family member who are getting our exact shutters for 3 of their windows. I highly recommended getting at least a quote from him and comparing. He won't be the cheapest but you have to compare apples to apples and his Norman shutters are superior imho. I wanted quality that would last. His installer Michael is also amazing. I have to give Michael a shout out. He's a perfectionist. He's so respectful of your home. We have an Asian home and he noticed we didn't wear shoes in the house and he took his shoes off and on every time which was hard because he'd be carrying shutters in from his workspace in the driveway and constantly taking his shoes off and on. He also was so careful around the house not to bang into walls, stairs etc. his work and craftsmanship is next level. We adored Michael and wished every contractor/subcontractor had his work ethic and personality. A very gentle and kind soul. I've attached a picture of the living room window. It tilts in 3 places - the upper/middle/bottom. It allows for whatever combination we want. We used 4.5" louvers here and 3.5" in rest of the house.

I reached out looking for a specific 4 panel sliding system & they responded almost immediately. Instead of trying to sell me something that wasn't right for my home, they were completely upfront that their current products probably wouldn't meet the style I was looking for. That kind of honesty is rare. No pressure, no sales pitch, no wasting my time. Just fast, professional communication and straight answers. Sometimes you learn more about a company by how they handle the sale they can't make than the one they can. Excellent customer service and integrity. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend giving them an opportunity.

First, the installation team left without addressing the cracks/damage to my windowsill. They obviously saw the damage but did not mention it or let me know that someone would be scheduled to come back and fix it. I had to call the company myself and send pictures before they sent someone out. When they came back, all they did was sand down the damaged area and fill it in. I am also very disappointed with the fit of the shutters. I was told afterward that the shutters are not custom-sized and that the gap around them is "industry standard" because of the sizing of new-build windows. The gap is large enough that you can actually see the screws, which makes the shutters look like they were not properly sized for the window. What makes this even more disappointing is that their website advertises "custom shutters" and describes their shutters as having a "perfect fit." Someone came to my home to measure my windows before I purchased them, so I was under the impression that the shutters would be custom measured and ordered specifically for my windows. I was also told that I would have to wait weeks for the shutters because they needed to be ordered in the correct size. The final result does not look or feel like a custom, perfect-fit installation. When someone finally came out to address the damaged windowsill, I was also told that if I wanted to cover the large gap, I should purchase a weather stripping product from Amazon and install it myself. I was very surprised that after spending $1,500 on two windows, I was being directed to purchase something myself to make the shutters look properly finished. Had I known beforehand that there would be a noticeable gap, visible screws, and that I would essentially need to add my own weather stripping to make the installation look finished, I would have purchased from a different company. I spent approximately $1,500 on shutters for just two windows, so I expected a much better fit and finish. I understand that some clearance may be necessary for installation, but the large gap and visible screws are not what I expected from a company advertising custom shutters and a perfect fit. Overall, while the customer service was pleasant, I am extremely disappointed with the final product and the way the installation issues were handled. I wish the expectations regarding sizing, gaps, and installation had been made clear before I made the purchase.

I saved up for a bunch of different house projects, with matching the shutters being one of them. Creative window coverings is one of only 3 listed Norman brand contractors in orange County, from the Norman brand website. And I wanted Norman brand specifically with the invisible tilt to match the shutters that were already there. I got quotes from all 3 people (window design group, budget blinds, and creative window coverings). I'll just say the other 2 companies were way more expensive. My cousin used to work in the window/shutter industry and he said creative window coverings price was fair, and the other companies essentially ripping me off profit wise. Creative window coverings sent Rai out to my home. He was very straightforward, honest, and gave me a lot of options and things to think about. Very knowledgeable. The other companies, one guy was in and out and didn't explain anything to me (tilt options, waterproof options for bathroom, how many panels I could choose, etc) and the other felt way too much of a sales pitch. I liked Rai the most. I went forward. Paid half the deposit. Paid the other half after the job was done. Installation was trouble free, easy, and no headaches. My house is a mess right now and they were able to still do their thing no problem. Had a great experience. Knowledgeable, friendly, very competitive and fair pricing, and I felt trustworthy that I wasn't getting ripped off and taken advantage of. Love my shutters. They look great and definitely make my home feel valuable and nicer overall. Would 1000% recommend.
