I've been working with cars since a child, and know a car inside and out. I took my transmission to Tyre because the case was cracked. I wanted to have all my internal components transferred to a new case. Tyre was very acting very strange and begging me "please man promise you will bring it back so I can rebuild it". His behavior was different as I have dealt with him before. That was definite mental note as it was that out of character for Tyre. I didn't use the transmission for a while, when I did I took it to be looked at by someone else(based on Tyre's behavior, I didn't feel comfortable doing anymore business with him) and found out that Tyre had SWITCHED the internal components on my transmission Hence the reason for his behavior, and begging. As my circle is very close, I discussed my experience with others. Come to find out that (5) OTHER PEOPLE HAD THE EXACT SAME EXPERIENCE WITH TYRE. Hearing the stories was like deja vu and solidified the dishonest, unsavory business practice of Early's Transmission. BEWARE..................He is very knowledgeable on quality transmissions, but for his own use/agenda which is take your good transmission internals and sale them to someone else and give you back garbage and none of what he was given. I'm not a surprised that he isn't registered with the Better Business Bureau, if he was I am sure his rating would be the lowest as he is a crook. Steve

Let me start by saying the salesperson was solid. Helpful, communicative, no issues there…read more This review is entirely about Karp Volvo's quality standards -- or complete lack thereof. I wanted a specific build with specific features. When I arrived to take delivery, the car that was supposed to be new looked like it had been through a rough winter as a loaner. Scuffs and microscratches all over the exterior. Moderate paint chips and scratches. The windshield had dark scratch marks -- the kind you see from ice and snow scrapers. The metal trim on the steering wheel had deep dents. Tire pressure? Low. Nobody checked. The interior was somehow worse. Dirt marks on the seats. The trunk storage area had dirt and dried mud drips all over it. Nothing had been cleaned or prepped for delivery. They told me a pre-delivery inspection had been completed, turns out that was back in September. When I asked them to cover detailing or scratch repair, they offered to knock $100 off the price. One hundred dollars. On a new car that needed paint correction and a full detail. Then came the pièce de résistance: their "on-site detailing." Two guys in dirty clothes, working out of the underground garage with abrasive brushes and cheap wash products. No professional equipment. No care taken to protect the interior, the seats and floor mats weren't covered, so every time they leaned in, their dirty clothes and hands were just adding to the problem. This place cuts costs on everything. There is no quality control, no pride in the product being handed to customers. I came here only because they had the one configuration I wanted. I should have waited. Don't make the same mistake.

The professionalism and transparency of Tyler and the reast of the Karp Volvo team was exceptional. No games, no back and forth, just straightforward discussion and numbers.
