Jack and Chad were incredibly patient and helpful as we considered our options and settled on the flooring we ultimately selected. Jack even came and remeasured our floors after we decided to install a mix of straight planks and herringbone. We considered a few vendors but VM Flooring had the best selection, a fair price, and we felt very comfortable with their service. The finished floors are absolutely beautiful. The installers did amazing work, were very courteous, and went the extra mile to make everything perfect. We are really happy with the results and would definitely recommend VM Flooring to anyone considering new floors for their home.

I thought I could DIY the whole job, but as I was finishing the demo of the old flooring I quickly realized that it was WAY beyond my abilities! I got an incredibly fast response from Jack, who was able to visit and give a detailed quote. He explained what work would be required, and how to handle the prep work to get the job done right. Anatoly did a thorough job leveling the floor, installing the new flooring and re-installing the trim board. I was impressed by the team's attention to detail while still finishing the job quickly. I'm so glad that I worked with VM Flooring - now I just wish I had worked with them from the start instead of trying to DIY at all!

Moises came out, immediately identified what types of wood were used and what work would need to be done, and gave a very fair quote promptly. His team was incredibly diligent and did a magnificent job bringing the floor back to its former glory days. They were done ahead of schedule, left the job site immaculately clean, and I couldn't be happier with the work. Moises was always professional and went above and beyond to make sure everything was done to perfection. If you need any type of flooring work done, look no further!

Most importantly, they did not try to force me into their plan and instead customized the project per my actual need. Moises also guided me to better quality material than found at big-box retailers, for longevity of the work done. The quality and value of the work and customer-focus was terrific.

David Rodriguez was patient with our choices and knowledgeable about their products. Moreover, and I hope I'm not setting the bar too high for your future clients, David, but he seemed always available and quickly responded to our texts during the entire project. This was also true when the job was done. I judge a business or service not on how easy the project was completed but, when challenges emerge or the outcome is less than perfect. Maybe we're just picky... David was quick to respond and address our concerns. This is true of the installation crew that David used. Julio Alvarado and his sons, Franklin and Kevin, worked together like a well-oiled machine and finished before expected. Franklin returned to our home in a timely manner to correct the imperfections that we pointed out. Would definitely do business with them again and recommend them to others.

Then all of that changed once i signed the contract and gave then my deposit. Then david's lies began He told me my project would cost more because i had a sleep number bed. Then he said based on my measurements, he would not have enough baseboard and he wanted to come over and measure everything. Wow, he lied right to my face, trying to make it look like my project was more sq footage than it was. I immediately confronted him. He remeasured that part and my measurements were right, not his. Then when i asked for the numbers of the other parts of the room he measured, he refused. All i got the next day was that my square footage was good. It took in person, phone calls and a text message in order for me to get those measurements from him. and by then, he could have changed his numbers to match mine. When the workers arrived, they demanded to take over my house like it was their house or they were going to leave, with all the flooring i already paid for still in their van. Since they did not want me in room with them while they were working, i set up ring cameras. four times they turned the ring camera so it would not be facing them. i demanded that this is my house, i have around 15 ring cameras both indoors and outdoors, normally to watch my dogs, and they are not to touch my ring cameras. then they threaten to leave again On the second day, they broke a shelving unit in the closet, but they denied, denied, denied. No wonder they don't want to be watched. i told them i had the evidence. It took them about 2 hours for them to start showing responsibility, but was still try to take the blame away from themselves. i called Abbey and a person who said his name was Peter Wolk CEO and president. i then asked him if he own the entire Abbey company or was he just a franchise owner. he then admitted he was a franchise owner. i had called to tell him about the damage to my property at which time he began screaming at me on the phone saying that the damage was no big deal, and he was not going to have it fixed. Right away, my mind started to turn to filing a CSLB complaint with the state. i have had recent success in getting a business license revoked and the three people associated with the company unable to get another state license. But the lies from Abbey workers continued. The workers were saying things that were absolutely not true. i told them, i no longer trust anything that comes from their mouths. but they would not stop.I kept on saying prove it, but the refused. Next stop will be the BBB, and after that will be the CSLB. Oh yeah, Peter Wolk threatened me talking about a yelp review i had written, but i had not written any reviews until now. Abbey company cannot to trusted, have already beven proven to be dishonest. This business is actually quite scary once you sign their contract. i have been taking photos since the very beginning, which surprisingly shows very poor workmanship i will be posting the photos once i am done with the project They also wrap my curtains in a knot and then tie it up with numerous cords. Curtains are now damaged. They put the Directv box and multiple cords under the most heaviest of furniture. It took about an hour to get it out from under there, and to unwrap the cords. There has been so much bad workmanship, i have been wondering if it is intentional orchestrated by Favid, since i literally caught him in lies with numerous ring cameras near by, to hear what he was saying.. i took a picture of a panel they installed that part of the exterior was scaped off. it was against a wall. I am so glad I took that pictures. I also noticed that they were putting numerous all most full size flooring panels in their trash bucket. When I checked a few times, they looked damaged. It appears the slicer the worker was using was damaging panels.

Although the repair was neither simple nor inexpensive, S&G handled the situation professionally, promptly, and without hesitation. A special thank you to Mike Menacho for his exceptional customer service and for seeing the issue through to a successful resolution. It's refreshing to work with a company that truly stands behind its products and customers. Everything went well until the seams of the carpet was placed following the wrong layout. The seams were also visible because it formed a peak where it was joined together. In short, the frustration and delays we encountered as a result were because all communication had to go through their customer service department. The sales staff said that all they do is sell and that they cannot deal with any problems that might arise after the sale has taken place. That, in itself, is not helpful for the customers. The customer service manager is a very pleasant and likable person, but he was apparently overworked and understaffed because he didn't responded to three critical texts that I had sent. As a result, I am not a completely satisfied customer and cannot wholeheartedly recommend this store as I have in the past.

Our experience started with Phillip to replace the existing flooring in our home due to a flood. The initial issue came once we signed the contract and paid the 50% deposit, unexpectedly the flooring we were told we were getting was out of stock and would take weeks to order so we went with a backup option. From there, issues we were told that would not be a problem, such as replacement in the master closet, which we came up with a solution for, to underbidding the work and saying there was more than he/they expected became a constant trend. After the floor was installed, our walls had a fair amount of damage from the demo of the prior floor which we ended up paying the majority of the cost for while FCI chipped in. We had a large bump in the middle of our kitchen that stemmed from incorrect prep work and also a board that had no nails in it which was replaced. We had railing that were bent and incorrectly installed that had to be fixed and eventually were. We had stairs that were cracking at the joints and that needed to be fixed and eventually were. We still to this day, per the photos below, missing stair covers and uneven installation in areas. Also, our stairs creek on three of them which we did not have an issue with before. After this most horrific and lengthy experience with FCI, I would strongly consider other options that might be out there for you and your family.

The whole team was hardworking, efficient, and very careful with the details. They moved our furniture back and forth as needed and even put protective pads under the legs of each piece to prevent any scratches on the new LVP floor. After the installation, they carefully put all the larger furniture back in its original place. Removing the old flooring was a lot of hard work, but the team worked together extremely well and never cut corners. Their efficiency and quality of work really impressed us. Suren himself was also wonderful to work with. He was very easygoing, accommodating, and flexible. After we installed the new baseboards along with the new flooring, we decided to keep the existing tile floor in the bathrooms. To make everything look more consistent, I asked Suren if he could also replace the bathroom baseboards. He happily agreed and had his workers take care of it at the same time. I really appreciated his willingness to accommodate our request and make things easier for us. Another thing we really appreciated was that their pricing was very fair and reasonable, especially considering the amount of work involved and the quality of their workmanship. What meant the most to our family was that they were able to complete the entire project in such a short amount of time. We were living in the house throughout the renovation, and our son has special needs and has a particularly hard time with changes in his surroundings and routine. Having the work completed in just five days made a huge difference for our family and made the whole process much easier for him. We are truly grateful for their hard work, efficiency, care, and consideration. We are extremely happy with the final result and would highly recommend Suren and his team.
