By diving deeper into my hormones and the various phases my body experiences throughout the month, I've developed a newfound gentleness towards myself. I couldn't be more grateful to Jacquelyn for playing an integral role in my wellness routine for my second pregnancy. My first pregnancy was really tough, I had a lot of back pain which made it very hard for me to stay active and keep my muscle tone and fitness. I didn't realize how important that was... I regularly felt sluggish and overly tired and just plain grouchy. My recovery process was slow and more of a challenge as well even though I was quite a bit younger. My second pregnancy, thanks to regular (every 3 weeks or so) massages from Jacquelyn, and regular stretching and yoga, I was able to remain more active, running through the second trimester, and until the end I was still walking quite a bit and doing yoga. I was in less pain, was able to sleep better and was able to work through to 39 weeks of pregnancy. Jacquelyn is very talented at finding and focusing on problem areas. She uses pressure points and stretches to help with whatever goals you have for that particular session. I would recommend Jacquelyn to anyone, pregnant or not, but if you're pregnant, and want to remain healthy and active, she is a wellness-necessity. read more

Just by chance, I got an appointment with this 'oh so much more than simply' a massage therapist. Being an ultra runner I always feel like I need so much more than just a massage and I wasn't disappointed. I arrived with numb toes on my left foot and a very sore heel on my right plus an indent in my upper thigh from a bad accident last year. Jacquelyn the therapist has a Bemer which improves microcirculation and promotes blood flow in the smallest blood vessels and if this wasn't magical enough I got extensive all over work. Jacquelyn is the most warming person! She has a way of making you feel at home. There was tea, coffee, and mandarins for customers. When you first walk in you immediately feel relaxed and the ambiance is completely serene, lights are dim and it's so peacefully quiet! This was my first massage and I was extremely satisfied. I originally had made an appointment for a pre-natal massage but went into labor the night before. So a month later I did a post-natal massage and talked to her about my carpal tunnel and general muscle aches acquired during pregnancy. She worked on key areas in my body a few days later I was feeling relief and now feel minimal aches and numbness in my right arm where my carpal tunnel was bothering me. I got my maternity massages from her even though it was my first pregnancy. Now, I swear by it. Jacquelyn is wonderful! She has gone out of her way to help my handicapped daughter and has made a huge difference in her quality of life. My daughter now feels relaxed and enjoys being touched and hugged. When we first started getting massage therapy she felt as hard as a rock and had numerous temper tantrums every week.
