I was also worried about going just any where, because I am female - though with a fairly extensive automotive background, I like to do without the hassle of sleazy grease monkeys who try to take advantage of unsuspecting women. That being said, I read some reviews and took a chance! Before I clicked "order", I called to inquire about a few of the installation charges and to get a feel for the process going forward. I spoke to the owner of Export Tire and he confirmed my inquiries, even offering to price out the same tires at his cost, in the event he would be able to save me even more money. When he realized my pricing was better, not one single word was mentioned about trying to undercut or sell me a different or cheaper tire. What a relief! When speaking with him, I asked if I would need to schedule an appointment once the tires were delivered - he said "no way, you're welcome to stop in at any time. We will get you right in, even if I have to do it myself." Color me impressed! As soon as the tires were delivered, I received a confirmation call from the shop. I know this was instant, because I had an email confirmation as well. I told them when I would be by, and again they assured me it would be fine. I asked how long it might take them, and they told me it would be about 20 minutes or so. When I arrived, they took my car right in (as promised). I sat in the waiting room for about 30-35 minutes, but only because I had a tire light on, and they were trying to erase the code before they sent me on my way. Not a problem at all. I also inquired about the use of Nitrogen instead of air, because I saw they were offering a deal on it. I believe it was the owner I spoke with again, and he said that it wouldn't make too much of a difference - not to waste my money. (Although, admittedly, he said he did not have it at that point). I also asked him for my tires to dispose of myself, which saved me a few dollars as well. He didn't argue or question my request, and they even bagged them as not to dirty the interior of my car. All in all, this shop - the owner - the technicians - the process from purchase to install was 5 star all the way! Don't hesitate to take your vehicle here! These guys rock! Thanks, y'all.

The bad: There is one single landline phone number, and it's like the one your grandparents have. No call waiting, no option to leave a voicemail if it's busy, just a line with a phone plugged into it. This is a problem because they do a lot of business and 4 out of 5 times I try to call them, the line's busy. Come on, guys, it's 2011. Let's update our phone systems out of the 1970s!

I stopped in one night and was given an extremely low evaluation for my Silverado trade in. I was going to walk away and go to another dealership, but you had the truck I wanted. I came back and worked with Ricky again and received a fair deal. The issues came when I came back to pick up the truck. Ricky knew for two days what time I would be coming in. We agreed to have the truck ready to go because I was stopping in the middle of soccer games I coach. I verified with him the day before, the morning of, when I was 45 minutes and 10 minutes away. He only told me when it was at the light in front of the dealership, a certified check was needed for my down payment. This took me an extra 30 minutes. When I got to the dealership, nothing was ready. Finance didn't have any to jig together, the truck was not cleaned or washed. I ended up being there for over two hours that was supposed to be a promise of less than 45 minutes. I finally got the truck and started to leave. The dash had an issue where there was a large gap that you can see into the dash. I immediately told Ricky who told me to come in at 12 the next day and he would have service fix the problem. When I got there service all went to lunch at 12pm. Ricky would not see me and ignored my calls and messages, sending anything sales manager to talk to me. A service appointment was set up and they replaced the bezel. The same issue was there with the gap. The service tech told me that's how it was supposed to be. I know you're not supposed to be able to see into the dash board. I have had 3 silverados with the exact same set up and it was not like this on any of them. I also showed the tech another truck you had instock to prove my point. I then spoke to Mike the service manager. He set up to have the grey section of the dash replaced. After this the gap wins slightly better but still present. Mike was helpful and did try to appease me for the experience. The truck came back in and a different style of clips were added. I was told it was all fixed and a picture was sent to me straight onto the dash showing it was fixed. The issue is when looking at it slightly above is when you can see into the dash. So obviously the entire time you are driving. I let Mike know the gap was still there, he blamed me and said I was damaging my own truck. He referred me to Art Evans. Art opened a case with GM, there has been zero update from GM. I called Art and Mike which took me two days to get ahold of Art who never called me back but only responded saying he got my email and sent it to GM. We are on day three of no update from GM. With minor responses from Art, never calling me as I asked.

They Inspected my car and told me it needed rear pads and rotors (brakes), both front lower control…read morearms and both sway bar links and an alignment. They said the driver side say bar link was broken and needed fixed before it can pass Inspection. Cost me $297 dollars. I took it took a Certified mechanic and Inspection station and yes it needed back brake pads but rotors looked brand new and did not need replaced. All the front pieces of equipment was tight and nothing loose or broken, the front Strut need replaced but no additional work. Scammers.

Make sure you get a credit up front on the price you pay because the average (competent) tire dealer will probably charge in the range of $25 per tire. I bought four tires for my car and had to have ALL of them reset on the rims because they never kept their air and would go flat in a few days. Over time, especially here in the "salt belt", a build up of road "gunk" adheres to the sides of alloy rims (wheels) and makes it difficult to get the tires to seat correctly. All it would have taken for these tires to be set correctly the FIRST TIME would be a minimal amount of time and effort to remove the gunk before putting on the new tires. I gave this service center TWO attempts to get it right, each time requiring hours of my time and inconvenience. BOTH times the tires still leaked. Poor service, absolutely pathetic and inexcusable. If this seems like too much trouble, just buy the tires and have them installed somewhere else. Not worth the "savings" when you have to deal with such incompetence. An old school saying still holds true, even in this time .. After the sale, it's the service. There was no service. Poor. Don't buy tires here. Not worth it. Stick with a tire service center that actually knows how to change a tire. It's really rocket science, after all.

Phil was right on time, professional, personable and expedient. Truck was on the back of the flatbed with 5 minutes, we were dropping the truck off at the garage within 10 minutes and he had me back home 10 minutes after that. Bing, bang, bong. He made a painful experience pain free. Thanks Phil! This is an industry that can gouge every penny you have because you're at their mercy. The response I received was, Oh well you gave us a typical stock clutch. That we install for cars with less power? So if they knew the clutch wasn't proper why didn't someone tell me this?
