Today, I came in with concerns about some pain I've been experiencing. Dr. Herr took the time to truly listen, and his sensitivity and honesty helped put my mind at ease. As someone who's never even had a cavity, I was honestly anxious about the possibility of needing a crown. But Dr. Herr was open about his own experiences and reassured me that sometimes, despite our best efforts, things just happen. I left feeling completely comfortable and confident in the care I'm receiving. What truly sets this place apart is the personal touch. The ladies at the front desk remember everything--my pets, my career as a teacher, my daughter. It's more than just a dental appointment; it feels like visiting family. If you're looking for a team that truly cares, Auburn Dental Center is the place to go.

Unfortunately, after some changes were made at his former location, I had not been able to see Dr. Logan for about two years. Recently, I asked about him and was so happy to learn that he had opened his own practice! I called on Monday to schedule an appointment, and to my surprise, I was able to see him today. I cannot express how pleased I was to reconnect with a dentist I have known and trusted for so many years. Dr. Logan is just as wonderful as I remembered--professional, knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely caring. He takes the time to listen, makes you feel comfortable, and never makes you feel rushed. There is something incredibly reassuring about having a dentist who knows you, remembers you, and truly cares about providing quality dental care. Additionally, his staff is as awesome as he is. I left feeling like I have known them all for years. Finding Dr. Logan again was such a blessing, and I am thrilled to once again be under his care--this time at his own practice. If you are looking for a dentist who is experienced, compassionate, attentive, and truly invested in his patients, I highly recommend Dr. Logan. Definitely 5 stars! K. Hosey

As a child! Allowing your children to NOT brush due to a gag reflex? I have one 2. Get a tongue scraper? Maybe show them not to RAM the to brush into the back of their throat. Not where the teeth are anyway. lol. Sorry. Just so ignorant of someone to leave something like that, and did you expect the dentist to give her a sticker for NOT brushing?? If you're a nervous/anxious type of person. Easy. Schedule some gas. Dr McCartel WILL make SURE you're comfortable and not in pain. I will say, he's not going to tickle your ego. That's NOT his job. He's going to tell you what his professional opinion is. Like it or not. He's right. Everything he says isn't wrapped in a bow, but it makes PERFECT sense & it's not the dentists job to make you feel good about your teeth. Especially if they're COVERED in plaque. He's also correct, Why clean the plaque off (causing bleeding gums & probably gum disease due to lack of brushing. The plaque will only continue to return!) He was just telling the mother & child the truth. The medical findings. We don't hafto like it... it's important to me that my dentists are capable, knowledgeable, experienced, and capable of completing the tasks needed. They can and WILL do this here. But they're not going to help you treat your teeth like crap. Wrong place for that. Also they do not take medical. A simple phone call prior to the appointment would've saved those people a trip. Why people don't call before they show up & ask the questions they need to ask BEFOREHAND is beyond me! These are my teeth after 6 months of back n forth at the BEST IN BAKERSFIELD for realllll!! (I do not mean Dr. K who handed my sister in law her crowns in a ziploc baggy & told her to "take em to the lab yourself & gave em fix what you don't like" lol I've been to him.. I was in the waiting room longer than his chair. THAT is a prick. I'm well versed. These Drs are NOT. Just hafto tell them what you need, they'll get it for you! I had AWFUL phobia of the dentist especially after my experience with the 1 that threw my sis in laws teeth in ziploc bag (Krause) all I know is I chose the RIGHT Dentistry for ME. I won't ever go anywhere else.

It honestly left me feeling overwhelmed. A staff from my kids' preschool recommended Hacienda Kidz Dental, and the experience was the complete opposite. The office was very clean and had a calm, relaxed environment. The ladies at the front desk were incredibly sweet and helpful from the moment we walked in. When they called my kids back, I went with them and was really impressed by how clean and organized everything was. The staff was wonderful with the kids and made all four of mine feel comfortable right away. The dentist was a young, energetic guy who you could tell genuinely cares about working with kids. Since the last owners left this place it has went downhill they use to be a very good dentist but…read morenow the new owners and staff lack energy and time to care for their patients. I went in initially because I booked a clean up appointment since it's been a minute that I haven't been to the dentist for a clean up so I booked one with them , the day I went in I had a scheduled appointment I made it took them a while to call me back I said okay that's fine because they seemed to have a couple people ahead of me. Once they did finally call me back all they did was sat me on the chair and tell me "oh looks like you have a lot of build up I'm sorry I can't clean your teeth today , you would have to come back and schedule a deep cleaning ". Which I said okay that's fine schedule me in then? And then they proceeded to just say well now we have to wait till your insurance approves it it's been 3 weeks since I been waiting for them to give me a call and no call has been made , I even called them back to check up on the approval and they keep lagging it I complained to them about my cavity as well that my teeth feel really sensitive and I see the cavity getting darker on my teeth the last thing I want to happen is the cavity eating away my tooth and that causing a tooth decay the fact that they scheduled me and charged my insurance for nothing and now they don't even want to make a appointment for me to get my cavity filled shows me they just about money and not have the intentions of helping their patients nor do they care about the health of the patients . I don't recommend this place at all it's not the same as it was before the last owners retired just go and look for another dentist cause that's what I had to do. Even the new dentist I found got me in right away and booked me for my cavity filling and approved it way quicker than them
