I had previously visited the office because my partial denture needed an adjustment. After it was returned to me, it eventually broke. This was my first experience ever using a partial denture, so I relied on the office for guidance regarding its care and what to expect. When I contacted the office for assistance, I felt that the staff member I spoke with was dismissive and unprofessional. Instead of feeling helped, I left the conversation feeling discouraged and uncomfortable. As a patient, I believe everyone deserves to be treated with respect, regardless of their insurance coverage or financial situation. My partial denture has remained broken for months, and because of my experience with the office staff, I no longer feel comfortable returning to have it repaired. As a result, I have been left without teeth, which has negatively affected both my daily life and my confidence. This review is not intended to criticize Dr. Medina personally, but to bring attention to what I believe are serious customer service issues within the office. I hope the practice reviews how patients are treated and takes steps to improve communication, professionalism, and RESPECT for everyone who seeks care. The pain medication prescribed kept things under control and got me through the worst of it which was the first two days post-op. After a week, the pain had almost entirely subsided. They filled my cavity and got me on the road. Unfortunately, over the weekend I started having some pain but I called after the weekend and they got me in that morning and got me taken care of. First time I've been pain free in my teeth in years. Made me actually enjoy being at the dentist instead of dreading the procedure. Unfortunately my family and I are moving out of state and won't be going here anymore, but if I could move Dr. Thomas and this whole practice with us to continue seeing them, I would!
