Pretty bummed. Let me just run through the timeline and you can tell me how this experience could have been improved: - I drop off a bicycle steerer tube to have an extension welded on with specific instructions/measurements on a Wednesday. Tammy tells me it can possibly be done in 2 days, Friday. - I call Friday, no luck - no problem. - I call the following Monday and Tammy answers with "Jeff hasn't looked at it yet, but I have him check it out shortly". - I get a call Wednesday saying that Jeff can in fact do the job, but will need to order a piece that can take 1-2 days. - I get a quote for the job on that next Friday - $120, sounds good. I was told it can be done right away. - 3 days go by, no contact. I reach out to see what's going on. Response: "he hasn't gotten to it yet". - It has now been 3 weeks since I dropped this piece off and I just picked it up - completely unusable. I was offered $20 off as a consolation - basically a F*** You. Not only have I wasted 3 weeks and $120, but I now have to go buy a whole new fork because this one is ruined... awesome. Not sure if my job just wasn't important enough, too small or if this is pure incompetence, but either way I will never use this place again and I encourage you to shop around before you decide to spend your money here.

My deck has a lot of odd angles and was a complicated project, but Paul made everything feel easy. He was extremely communicative--texted me back right away, came out immediately to give me a quote, and always answered every follow-up question I had. It was genuinely a pleasure working with him. My custom-designed railing (64 linear feet) was hot-dip galvanized and took about six weeks from start to finish. Paul recommended a matte black finish because the hot-dip process can leave slight irregularities, but it ensures the metal will never rust. He was absolutely right--the final result is stunning. The railing was installed the day before my birthday party, and we made it just in time. All of my guests and neighbors were blown away by how beautiful everything turned out. Paul is professional, reliable, and highly skilled. I would honestly ignore any one-star reviews--they do not reflect the quality of his work or service.
