We had 3 huge crates of a prefab greenhouse shipped to our house: 6.9 x 9.1 x 4.8 framework 2645 lbs 2.0 x 12.7 x 1.7 metalwork and wood beams 220 lbs 2.4 x 7.6 x 3.0 glass 1543 lbs The crate of glass was turned sideways on the truck, so it had to be rotated 90 degrees before the forklift could get under it. With his forklift Luis managed this maneuver with amazing delicacy without breaking any of the glass, before picking it up and moving it carefully into our driveway. He was great to work with, and very accommodating. I'd give him 6 stars if I could. read more

Hello just wanted to leave a quick review and just want to tell everyone to look for a second opinion always. We had out forklift picked up about two weeks ago and got diagnosis for our forklift come to find out we got our bill over $9k in fees and said we needed a new transmission etc etc. So we asked for it back and asked for a second opinion so we ended up calling Toyota to check out our forklift come to find out all it needed was a wire replacement and Tc solenoid. I was in shock dude at Toyota was real professional. Ended up coating us not even more that $100 for the bandage. I would not recommend this company. Imagine if we would have just paid these guys? That's why it's good to call reliable and honest companies and this one is not it. read more

I went with JK Lift to do a maintenance and repair on an older forklift we have at our shop (which doesn't appear to have had any maintenance done to it in quite some time). Luis was quick about getting to our warehouse diagnosing the problem and providing a quote fairly quickly for what needed to be done. He was professional and his technicians for the job done. We now have a fully working forklift that also even sounds 100% better than it did before. We will definitely be using them for our yearly maintenance as well as recommending everyone else to give them a call for any forklift needs! read more

Luis is very responsive and professional. My forklift was picked up, delivered and repaired quickly and for a reasonable price.

Charlie and his dad are great. They helped me multiple times with different services on forklifts and repair of Hydraulic jack on testing machine and always fair and on-time and very friendly. Good people to work with. I strongly recommend them read more

Thanks Yelpers - JK Lift turned out to be a legit 5 star business! I contacted Luis to help save our old forklift that had not been serviced in...um...years?! It suffered from: Bent forks Bent and broken load guard Missing basic safety gear - mirrors, fire extinguisher, etc. Leaking seals Ran poorly Luis did a very thorough inspection, sent a detailed quote and followed up promptly. I was very pleased with Luis' communication, workmanship, quality of replacement parts and very competitive pricing. Thank you JK LIFT for a job well-done! 5 stars read more

Jk Lift - Luis & Luis - hard-working, honest and reliable! - Machine & Tool Rental Near Me - San Leandro, California

Finding a honest and responsive forklift repair service in the Bay Area is a challenge. Anyone who has attempted to contact some of these companies knows how painful it is just to get someone to answer the phone let alone show up for appointment. Luis assisted us at our yard in Richmond with an older Komatsu and Hyster. He showed up the next day after calling him and got our unit up and running. He later assisted us with rebuilding our Komatsu and adding lighting, strobe and back up alarm to our Hyster. Highly recommend Luis and his team to anyone needing an honest and experiences forklift repair company. read more

Great honest service, owner had one technician that he oversaw and they both got the job done together replacing the master cylinder for the brakes on my lp gas yale forklift. Best part of all is that they did the whole job at my business in San Francisco with their mobile repair van. Luis knows what he's doing and he's good at it, highly recommended for all lift maintenance and repair. read more

I contacted Luis regarding a material handling project in Berkeley. Luis asked all the right questions and proposed several options for how to approach the task. He explained the pros and cons for each option and was upfront about time and cost. Luis was highly professional and responsive. This company is Five Star all the way! I highly recommend JK Lift Service. read more

I couldn't be happier. Echoing the experiences of others, they were extremely responsive. I called late afternoon, they arrived next morning, quickly diagnosed the issue (starter), ordered exactly the parts needed for the immediate repair and had me back up and running. They also fixed a couple of other things with spare parts they had on hand. I like that Luis suggested other repairs but also helped me prioritize them as less essential and also gave me a fair assessment of what would be involved. Mine is an unusual, 4 cylinder, gas powered Nissan forklift that I use around my personal property - no issue for them. What else can you ask for!?!? I will definitely work with them in the future as needed for repairs and perhaps so proactive maintenance. read more

JK lift service was great and quick (same day) also, service fee and diagnostics was a flat rate with no underlying fees. I would recommend JK lift to anyone looking for quick and cheap servicing of forklifts read more

In a crunch needed a forklift they showed on time and we're a real big help. Would recommend

They came out last minute within hours of me calling and did a fanatic job. Luis is amazing and was able to maneuver his forklift in very challenging situations (on a hill, narrow driveway, very heavy stones to lift). He was always mindful of keeping the stone safe, which I really appreciate. Definitely recommend! read more

We hired JK Lift to service 2 of our forklifts. We have spent the last few years struggling to find technicians to fix and service our lifts and have always been left with faulty parts and unreliable service. Our forklifts are used on a daily basis and this has been one of our ongoing headaches with our distribution business. After trying almost all the technicians in our area, we decided to give Luis a call at JK Lifts. He came the same day, diagnosed the problem and quickly went to work. He is transparent, knowledgeable and efficient. He needed to order a few parts, stated the timeframe, followed up to notify us of the delay in the part and came as soon as the part arrived. Both of our lifts are functioning as good as the day we first bought them and are running great. You can expect no games, no hidden costs and a man that keeps his word. Can't ask for much more than that in business. JK Lifts is our new forklift technician and we're glad we have someone we can count on. read more

Luis went above and beyond. He clearly knows his stuff, can be relied upon for expert repairs, and very timely too! When our Forklift is down, and we just don't have time to wait around for repairs. Finding an honest mechanic can be like finding a needle in a haystack: he's like that -- it's like having your uncle know how to repair forklifts. He also did some work on our bobtail truck. I literally had three other forklift mechanics that I fired, one by one. Got a horrible diagnosis by one of them, wasted $250 on a part. I couldn't even return it in time because it took him a month to come by. Very frustrating. So it's really a godsend to have an honest, talented repair guy nearby. Heartily recommend without reservation. read more
