Before signing anything, we showed him the ongoing electrical, irrigation, drainage, and dry-well work being done by another crew. We explicitly stated that the turf installation could not begin until that extensive project was fully completed--which we estimated would take many months, stretching into late 2025. Sean agreed to this, stating he just needed to put a temporary date (May 2025) on the contract to process it. We emphasized that this was not an actual start date. Sean understood and agreed. The Communication Breakdown: The owner claims the company tried to contact me. This is false. No one from this company ever called to schedule an installation. The only phone call occurred when I reached out in May to provide an update, as instructed by Sean. Later, our project faced delays because our sole contractor suffered an accident. Once construction finally finished, unforeseen circumstances forced the sale of the home due to the co-owner's decision. The Deposit Dispute: On January 14th, I called the owner, Ron, to explain the situation. Because we never scheduled an official installation date, this company never mobilized crews, ordered materials, or wasted resources. The only time spent was the initial "free" consultation. Given these unique circumstances, I asked Ron for a good-faith partial refund of $500 (half of my $1,000 deposit), allowing them to keep the rest for Sean's time. Ron promised to check with Sean and call me back within 5 days. He never did. When I called Sean directly on January 19th, he informed me he no longer worked for the company but promised to flag the issue with Ron. I have screenshots of their Instagram ads claiming a "state program discount" for the first five sign-ups. This same ad template is used by multiple different companies across social media. The quoted price was identical to competitors who did not claim to offer any state discounts. Conclusion: If a company reserves a specific date for a client and loses other business, keeping a deposit makes sense. However, keeping a full deposit when no start date was ever set, no materials were ordered, and the sales representative agreed to an indefinite hold is simply operating in bad faith. There is no project manager he runs around by himself and when asked about autofill, which pool maintenance people asked why is there no autofill, he backtalked it was not part of the contract. My contract, 180, for a high end low maintenance pool. Ron's a sweet talker, so when offered 2500 to fix it he told me to file a claim, so here I am first. This guy has a temper too, Ive had to call the subs to ask them why they left and one said they were not paid and had to get in the middle of that too. Cross your t's and dot you i's here.

Some adjustments were made, but the final result included cabinets that are not evenly aligned, hinges that loosened shortly after installation, and paint chipping within the first month of use, including in low-use areas. We also provided appliance specifications before cabinet and countertop installation. The opening for the stove was built larger than specified, and we ultimately had to address this ourselves. Materials were discussed in advance, and later we received an additional charge for materials we did not expect. We requested documentation for these charges but did not receive receipts. One light fixture was damaged during the project and was not replaced. After the project, photos and videos of our home were shared on the company's social media pages. We asked for this content to be removed, but it remains online. Overall, the project involved multiple quality and communication issues that were not resolved to our satisfaction. Based on our experience, we would not recommend Ramos construction.

I definitely felt the price was fair. The company that made my roof tiles is no longer in business and the tile no longer exist however Marco worked hard to find some similar tiles (that would satisfy the HOA) to replace the broken ones that I had and you really cannot tell the difference between the tiles. Marco & his team were on time everyday, worked efficiently and diligently and completed the job ahead of schedule. The property was left clean at the end of the job as well as at the end of every workday. I would definitely use MMM Roofing again if the need arises. Thanks for the great work guys!

He explained everything and made sure I really liked the ideas he had for me. Everyone else made me feel like it was an upsell, but with Miguel, he assured me that it wouldn't cost much for the small upgrades, and it would make my kitchen look much nicer. He was absolutely right, and I couldn't be happier with my beautiful new kitchen. The project took a little over 2 weeks to do, and that was only because of the pouring rain. Miguels crew worked very hard to get my kitchen done ASAP. I originally had marble counters, but I now have quartz which I love. Miguel sent me to a great place that had so many different options to choose from. I put new backsplash and beautiful new white shaker cabinets with lighting underneath. Miguel put on all of my handles to the cabinets himself the last night, making sure they were on just right and where I wanted them. He and his son didn't finish until 10 pm on a Friday night, just so I could have everything completely done like he promised me. Not only was pricing fair but the hard work and great guys that work for Miguel made the entire experience that much better. Everyone was nice, professional and worked very hard. Hopefully the next project with Miguel will be my bathroom.

I was required to comply with CA Title 24 roofing requirements for energy efficiency standards. Octavio totally understood CA Title 24 and the problems with my flat roof. He worked with the City Building and Safety Department to get permits to change the roof pitch and new overhang around the house. He installed all new beams, insulation, and fascia boards. He installed all new windows and doors on my home. There was a lot of termite damage requiring all new wood to be installed and walls replaced before I had a restucco job on the home. He painted almost every room and is an excellent painter. He replaced almost all of the molding in my home and it is perfect. He replaced all of my rusted outside vents with stainless steel vents. They look great and I do not have to worry about them rusting. We had a lot of rain during construction and Octavio always covered my roof with tarps that kept rain outside and not in my home. He often worked into the night doing this and did not think twice about it. He knew it needed to be done and he was on it. Octavio is a contractor that will always spend as much time talking through questions and concerns as is necessary so you know exactly what will happen, how it will look, and what it will cost. He has very fair pricing for the quality work he provides. I will always call Octavio first for any home-related issues. You will not find a more fair, reasonable, or honest contractor.
