Hands down best kimchi soup I've ever had! We drove up from Lawton for a grocery run and wanted a real meal before making the hour-long trek back home. So glad we skipped the fast-food regret and gave Jjan Pocha a chance instead! The vibe inside is great--K-Pop playing in the background, fun wall graphics and decor (complete with the giant soju frogs), and a super welcoming staff. We were seated immediately, and they brought out cold water right away. Here is the breakdown of what we tried: Kimchi Soup: The absolute star of the show. I haven't been to Korea, but I order kimchi jigae at almost every Korean restaurant I visit, and this is hands down the best I've ever had. Unlike many places that only serve massive family-style portions, this came as a perfect individual size in a piping-hot stone bowl. I was comfortably full halfway through, but I couldn't stop until the bowl was empty. Don Katsu: We've had pork katsu plenty of times, but never served like this with a blanket of super creamy, rich melted cheese on top. Highly recommend. Fried Dumplings: My two-year-old is in a strict "if it's not a lollipop, I hate it" phase, so even though we ordered them for her she refused to touch them, but my husband happily scarfed them down in minutes. I thought they were a solid, classic dumpling. Kimchi Pancake: This was good and had a nice crisp edge to it, though it probably wouldn't be a must-repeat order for me next time compared to the entrees. Overall, the service was fast and incredibly friendly. If you're looking for comforting, authentic flavors and a fun atmosphere in the Moore area, do not miss this spot. JJAN Pocha was a very cute little restaurant. There were neon lights, music, and the lights were low which we really enjoyed. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and was able to make some nice recommendations. The Japchae for 2 absolutely serves 2 and is an excellent appetizer. We ordered the Kimchi soup (which has pork IN it, not just on top), Udon Jjamppong, bulgolgi, and grilled spicy pork. The kimchi soup was amazing. I'd prefer a more sour kimchi flavor, but this was still an amazing dish! The soup stayed hot the entire time. It was also served with rice. The Udon was boiling when it came out (as it should be! We love a hot meal), the seafood was cooked perfectly, the broth had a delicious rich flavor, and we subbed udon or ramen noodles. The noodles didn't add much in my opinion, but I can see this being a popular choice! We also requested extra spicy and the chef surely delivered. I usually love bulgolgi. I don't entirely love the seasoning on this one OR the bed of glass noodles, but that's just my opinion. Also served with rice! The grilled spicy pork (served with rice lol) had good flavor and a nice crisp. We were honestly so blown away with how good the soups were that the meats fell to the background. The pork was still spicy and flavorful! Definitely recommend. My only note to make this a full 5 stars would be the addition of banchan. There is a little bit of a wait between ordering and getting your entrees, so some Korean side dishes would've been nice to snack on. They did serve pretzels, but I just thought it was out of place. We really enjoyed our experience and even ended the night with some Melona! We will be returning. read more

We came in Valentine's Day with a party of 6. Wasn't too crowded but we had a reservation. We started with corn cheese with the table which was so creamy and delicious. My bf and I shared the japchae and chicken katsu. Both were very delicious. Service was great! We ordered about 12 bottles of soju and the waitress was super accommodating. First off, this is a bar with loud, bumping music. A place to hang out with friends and chill. Not a nice place to bring your parents. Learn from me. This bar has potential to be a cool late night place to snack with friends. Not a place I would go to eat a meal. I came with family and got the bossam and cheese buldak. The bossam was eh. The buldak was an absolute rip off. I thought it would be a full plate of chicken and vegetables with cheese melted over the top. Half the plate was JUST melted cheese with barely any chicken. Came here with my friends on a Friday night. The place was pretty packed and busy! The service was good! Food took a while though but as expected since it was a full house! It was also BYOB so we drank some alcohol while we waited. We got Korean fried rice. It was pretty good but the rice was a bit mushy for me. Ttebokki was my favorite! Will definitely order again. First timer here, it definitely gives a vibe when you walk in I came on a Friday night around 7:30pm it was about a 10 minute wait kind've wish they had seating while waiting. I got the Sizzling Cheese Buldak w a side of white rice it was sooo good and cheesy I liked it, it was on the mild side of spice. I got the lamb skewers they were good but the chicken were even better! I also tried the Jinro Peach Cocktail in a bottle and they gave me a shot glass to drink out of it didn't have too much of a peach flavor but definitely a juice alcohol. I really like this place. Delicious Korean food w/ K-pop and the friendliest, most polite service I've had in recent memory. If you have the chance, check this place out. We started with the fried pork dumplings. OMG. The best. I could eat those every day and be happy. We had an array of skewers - pork, chicken, shrimp, and mushroom. They were all delicious. A little crispy, almost fried texture. I loved them. The grilled Galbi was our main entree. It came with a bowl of rice and it was really good. It's a little bit on the fatty side, so we probably should have ordered something more vegetable-y or carb-y to go with it. It's a pretty good sized portion, so be ready to share. BUT- this is honestly such a hidden gem for me. My husband and I are both Korean, so finding a good spot like this in Moore is a true win. My friends and I were really excited to try this new place out since the reviews seemed like it was worth the try. But we were all extremely disappointed with the overall service and food. We aren't picky and usually give things the benefit of the doubt. But in this case, we ordered the corn cheese, tornado fried rice, old fashion donkatsu, and jjampong. The corn cheese was literally half corn and half oil. It didn't look like any of the reviews pictures. The tornado egg fried rice turned out to just be white rice with seaweed mixed in, which we guessed was their version of fried rice. The old-fashioned donkatsu and jjamppong were probably the best dishes out of all the ones we got but overall quality was alright (nothing surprising). The food is also a bit on the pricey side compared to other Korean restaurants we've had. The price to reward ratio was really off. As far as the service, we were told to wait to check out although we gave our card to the waiter? The waiter proceeded to go socialize and cheers with other tables and kept us waiting for another 15 minutes. We were all really looking forward to trying out this place, but maybe it was our bad luck this time around? Hopefully, by the time the grand opening comes along, the service and food will be better than our experience. read more

Husband and daughter loved the stir fry chicken gizzards. Forgot to take a picture of the gizzards unfortunately. Husband also really liked the steamed egg. All the meat skewers were good! We didn't care for the mushroom skewer. It just tastes like raw mushroom. I can't say enough good things about this place! Ever since moving to Oklahoma, my boyfriend and I have been looking for local places to eat, we came across this place and from the moment we entered we couldn't stop coming back! The food is 10/10, the Ttetokbokki and the stir fry squid was an absolute favorite. The food had really good flavor. I ordered the Japchae. This was my first time ordering this dish, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Again, good flavor, but the downside was the glass noodles. I'm not sure if they're supposed to be this way, but they were gummy. Very difficult to actually get a decent sized portion to put in my mouth. Then while I was chewing it, it wasn't easy to chew the noodles. My wife ordered the ramen. It was really good. Our server was nice, but my wife ordered a beer. He came by a little while later and asked her which beer she ordered. He went on to do something else and got distracted. My wife eventually just walked up to him and said she didn't want it any more. He did come by later and offered to comp it for her, but she declined.
