Went here for lunch during the World Cup as I was in the mood for some good pizza nearby me. Read some reviews on Yelp and was totally intrigued by the trademark of this place....a double decker pizza. A thin crust pizza layer, and another thin crust layer baked on top, whilst the crust is twisted to combine the two. I had pepperoni, sausage and "sliced" roma tomatoes. Note I said sliced not diced, it is my favorite way to have tomatoes on my pizza, and I'd also like to point out they weren't canned either. Win! It took sometime to get the pizza, maybe 30 minutes or so and the place was nearly dead, but I think it was worth it. They put out a great product and I'll visit again. We just really love this place. Its in our neighborhood, so we visit here a lot, and we usually bring friends and family here when they visit from out of town. The pizza is excellent and fresh. Its more expensive than the chains because they actually use fresh ingredients. We often get the double decker special, which is amazing, but we have gotten thin crust the last couple times and have been equally pleased. They also have great fries. The chicken taquitos are homemade and delicious and come with an excellent ranch dressing. Last night my wife ordered pasta, and again, loved it. I do have to admit that the service has not always been perfect, and I ordered a tap beer one time that tasted spoiled.. but their food is top notch and we are so glad this restaurant is just down the street. read more

Best pizza I've ever had. I constantly have family and friends from out of town who ask me to take them back to Twig's. I've taken several word travelers from a couple different countries there, and they all rave about it. The thin and double decker are great...different, but great in their own way. I've been going to Twig's for years, and hadn't made it past the pizza. I recently tried their wings, and they are very very good. We also enjoy their salads. The honey mustard dressing is good. A hidden gem is the half-baked pizza. No, it isn't that...it is a mostly baked pizza. You can refrigerate or freeze, and in 15 minutes you have a pizza that is just like you get in the restaurant. We were surprised how close it was. A great family owned business. We know the owners, and they are wonderful people (For the record we loved Twig's before we knew the owners). Great place to go with excellent service! You have to try the double decker pizza. I've been numerous times, but haven't tried any other menu items, as I am sold on the double decker! Terrible would've been an upgrade.... ABSENT is a better word. I was in the building for approximately 15 minutes and didn't see a single employee. Sat at the bar for 10 minutes. This was the first time I tried here, and it was ok. The pulled pork sandwich was not bad, but the sweet potato fries were a bit overdone. A bit pricey on the garlic bread my aunt ordered. Our waitress was nice and did check on us making sure we were ok. I may try again and try the pizza read more

Finally decided to stop by and try their pizza last weekend and we're back a week later. The pizza was good. The crust reminds me of Tostino's but fresh made. The taste was great. We also ordered the hot wings with a little skepticism cause I don't like non breaded wings most of the time cause they never seem to be cooked long enough for me. I don't like a soft fatty skin. It needs to be crispy and it was! Cooked perfectly. Even tonight. There's a small bar up front too that doesn't detract from the restaurant atmosphere so don't worry. read more

Couldn't believe that one was now open in O'Fallon after having driven 40 mins many times to their other location. Super helpful employees, the best pizza anywhere in St Louis. Great atmosphere. Quality of food and service have good down hill in recent months. It appears there is a new manager. Our pizza was overcooked and the toppings were skimpy. Previously the pizza was cooked to perfection and there were plenty of toppings. We live near JJ Twigs and have had their pizza since they opened. Even though they are less than 2 miles from us, we are going to travel further for better pizza until they improve. read more

Not much out there like the double decker pizza! Definitely one of the best pizzas I've ever had, and certainly the best in O'Fallon. Make sure you don't nibble on the crust while you wait for it to cool off, it'll come apart on you! The service has been fun and no issues there, and the beer is affordable. My friends and I came here for a going away party for a friend and the amount of rudeness from the servers was seriously terrible, not to mention they got almost every single order wrong. Those things I can overlook, we all have bad days right? Well right before we got seated the host told us he didn't think there would be enough room for us so we probably can not eat there, and then goes into the kitchen and he walks back towards us about 10 minutes later and I see every person from the back come out, look at us, and then shake there heads and give us dirty looks.
