Before starting to install the final fan in the great room (with a 20-foot ceiling), they first had to maneuver a 16-foot step ladder into the house and room which was not easy due to the size and weight. Once they started to work on the install, they discovered that I didn't buy a fan for such a steep sloped ceiling. They repackaged the fan and wrapped up the job. Inquired regarding modifications to the quote and the answer I was given was "this is why my boss told me to tell you". I called another company who is a master electrician and is doing the job they quoted me 12k for 3k.
