Please save yourself a headache and do not go here. I went here for a routine checkup and found out…read morethat I possibly needed two root canals. Dr. Kim claimed that she wouldn't know if I needed root canals unless she took my current fillings apart. She vaguely pointed out the problematic teeth on the X-ray. The whole discussion just seemed really strange to me because when she initially entered the room she said that my teeth looked okay. Also, I tend to take care of my teeth, and was not experiencing any pain. I decided to get a second opinion from another doctor in NYC. It turns out that I didn't need any root canals. The dentist that I went to didn't need to break down my current fillings to determine this. I feel like they hire a lot of inexperienced dentists at this location, and not senior dentists to give second opinions on procedures. After doing my research, I found out that Dr. Kim had graduated dental school a few years which probably explains her lack of knowledge.

But the real rockstars? Dr. Bronsky and all his colleagues and associates. All the orthodontists, X-ray techs, hygienists, and receptionists alike have been consistently competent and exceptionally pleasant to work with, listening to my concerns and prioritizing my comfort while still pursuing excellent results. I had several severely crooked teeth that were overdue for fixing, but I was feeling self-conscious about getting braces in my 20s. To accommodate my situation, Dr. Bronsky planned my treatment using cutting edge lingual braces, which are placed on the interior side of the teeth and are practically invisible to viewers. Not much more than a year later, and my teeth look better than ever. I am thrilled with the changes in the alignment of my teeth, I've quickly gotten used to the retainer that will be maintaining my smile, and I am so grateful for the top-notch experience I had working with Dr. Bronsky and everybody on his team. We now consider Dr. Bronsky a friend of our family, and I would absolutely recommend Bronsky Orthodontics for anybody seeking the best orthodontic care in NYC.

During our initial consultation, Dr. Ahn clearly laid out what was involved and an estimate of how long the treatment would take. When we started the Invisalign, Dr. Ahn used the iTero scanner instead of those messy putty molds, and the whole process only took a few minutes. After the trays were made, I visited his office every few weeks for a checkup until the treatment was complete! Dr. Ahn was always completely polite and professional and took time to listen to all of my concerns. Even after finishing the initial set of trays, there were a few things I wanted to adjust, and Dr. Ahn ordered refinements - all included in the price of the treatment! Dr. Ahn also included a whitening treatment to use with my retainers after I had finished all the trays and refinements. If you're thinking about getting Invisalign, please give Dr. Ahn a call!

The following is a true review of my family's experience with Dr Adamjee at Manhattan Eastside…read moreOrthodontics and I am happy to provide proof through photos, documentation, contracts etc. My daughter had braces placed by a different orthodontist who wanted to charge us month by month. We never got treatment with that orthodontist because we learned it is better to have a set contract. We interviewed a couple of orthodontists as well as Dr Adamjee, who all said my daughter needed braces for one year. We thought Dr Adamjee was charming and charismatic and so chose her practice. However, after a few months, we notice that one of my daughter's teeth was being pushed the wrong way so that the root was coming through the gum. We also noticed that there was little improvement in her teeth, and tried to talk to Dr Adamjee about it. Dr Adamjee continually dismissed our concerns, and when we asked why my daughter's tooth was pushing through the gum, she literally replied with, 'I don't know'. She actually told us to ask our dentist, who was as confused as us because Dr Adamjee was meant to be the expert. Eventually, I went to an expert who took xrays and explained that Dr Adamjee was pushing my daughter's teeth the wrong way and that the braces simply needed to be arranged to push her teeth the right way! Around this time, things got pretty unpleasant with Dr Adamjee who appeared to be angered that we were starting to ask questions and were concerned that at after almost a year of treatment, she had not only failed to improve my daughter's teeth, but made them look worse. Her main response was to tell us my daughter could lose the tooth that was being pushed the wrong way, and that my daughter's issues were 'complicated'. At no point did she admit that her treatment may be causing this. Now that we were fully paid up and almost year had passed, Dr Adamjee called us into her office, thrust release papers at us and said that because 'we'd lost faith in her' she could no longer continue to treat our daughter. We were still paying for our other two son's orthodontic treatments with her at the time which were also not going as hoped but were certainly not as dire as my daughter's treatment. Part of us was relieved that we could now take our children elsewhere but we were out over ten grand. Because of Dr Adamjee's treatment choices, we were forced to start all over again with our children. My daughter was told that in order to fix her teeth now, she would be in braces another year at least. Thankfully, we picked an amazing orthodontist who in our daughter's first 4 week appointment, had moved our daughter's teeth out of their compromised position and the root was no longer showing. All of the issues Dr Adamjee seems to have caused, have been resolved, and now, a year later, my daughter's teeth are straight and beautiful. I really did wait because I didn't want to write a negative review without making sure that I got the facts right. Even though we had to pay thousands more to start new contracts for all of our children and my daughter was forced to be in braces for a full extra year, at least we finally got it right with a highly professional and competent orthodontist.

She sent me for physical therapy to widen the opening of my mouth which lasted for close to one year, as well as a TMJ specialist that made several devices to aid in that respect and resolve thee TMJ issue. It was worth waiting a year before Dr. Salzer was able to put braces in my mouth and give me the smile and pefect bite I always wanted! I chose braces versus invisalign because my teeth were able to be corrected in less than one year and I love drinking coffee and would not be able to keep the invisalign in my mouth when drinking anything but water. In addition, if it wasn't for her, I would not have known that I had a lump on the upper left side of my mouth. Being an ex-cancer patient, that was extremely upsetting to me. She sent me to a neurologist to make sure that it wasn't cancer. I have had several checkups with that doctor to confirm. The technology in her office is "first class." I do believe without the best technology, she would not have known about it. Dr. Salzer invests in technology for her patients and has the cutting edge before it even hits the market! That should also be a factor when chosing the right orthodontist. Even though she sent me for physical therapy and to the TMJ specialist, it was all worth the wait! Dr. Salzer was able to give me the perfect bite and smile I always wanted!! She is a perfectionist and an amazing person and without hesitation, look no further!!!

I think she handles a lot of the paperwork and even confirms your insurance before you arrive at your appointment. It's also my understanding that she makes a point of contacting you before you arrive at your appointment if she finds that anything will NOT be covered by insurance. Talk about being a proactive, compassionate doctor! I have literally never experienced that in all my 32 years until now. Thank you so much, Dr Yu!
