I had been dealing with an episode of vertigo and because of the way I been laying/sleeping, I had a LOT more tightness, tension, and soreness around my neck and shoulders. I wanted a massage to help bring some much-needed relief, so I randomly did a Google search and came across Jin Spa Hawaii, which happened to be nearby and had last-minute openings that same day for both my other half and I. We were able to book separate time slots with Kim, which worked for the both of us. The office is conveniently located in Kahului near Maui Mall. It's a small space, but quiet, clean, and perfectly sufficient for my needs. I filled out an intake form and explained where I had been feeling pain and what I was hoping to get out of the massage. Kim got right to work, and I have to say, she has some VERY strong hands. It was *almost* too much for me at certain points, but I really needed it. Before we started, she asked what type of massage I wanted. I think I chose deep tissue, but she mentioned doing "a little bit of everything," and I just said, "Okay!" Whatever she did, mixing different techniques from deep tissue to Thai massage, it was AAAHMAZING. Even the stretching, which I normally don't care for, was great. By the end, she had worked out a number of the knots in my muscles. All in all, I had a really great experience. It is on the pricier side, but honestly, it seems to be the going rate for massages these days, and in this case, I needed some relief. My other half had the same sentiments and also really enjoyed his massage. It's a simple spot, but was one of the best massages I've had in a while. I'd definitely recommend giving Jin Spa Hawaii a try! read more

I was looking for a reasonable place to get a massage for my birthday. I found Jin Spa randomly looking for good reviews. I went online and booked everything thru their very easy scheduling system. I opted for the 90 minute Thai massage. I got there a little early and was greeted by Kim. I filled out my intake forms and then she got acquainted with my expectations and problem areas. It was such a great massage. She is so strong and worked on all my requests. She checked in frequently to make sure I was comfortable. I will definitely be going back, especially because they have such great hours! Highly recommend! read more

Probably the best massage I have ever had. Kim was extremely diligent in getting all the knots out of my back and shoulders. She even massaged my scalp, ears and face. I got the thai massage with added hot stones. I left feeling so relaxed and loose. The best massage on maui that I have gotten by far. If you're looking for an amazing massage for a great price that beats the resorts BY FAR I definitely reccomend Jin spa. read more

Beginning of this week, I found out that my therapist whom I've seen for many years is no longer available so I was devastated. Fortunately many of my friends had awesome experience at Jin spa so I give it a try. I suffer from chronic pain which requires good massage therapist who really knows body and diagnosis well. I normally leave a spa feeling like I got beat up due to my chronic pain but I felt rejuvenated as I left. Strongly recommend!!! I'm so grateful for the wonderful service that I've received. Thank you! read more

I travel to Kahului multiple times per year. Long distance air travel leaves my body sore and tired. Recently I stumbled upon a new Massage Therapy place - Jin Spa. Jin not only understood my needs, provided excellent service with deep tissue massage to relieve all stiffness in my core muscle group. On top of that she recommended various relaxation and exercise techniques to cope with long term back pain. Please I not the easiest to find but you will rewarded when you do! Pricing is very competitive and as mentioned above customer service and warm attitude is hard to compare to these days. Highly recommend stopping by or booking an appointment! read more

Jin Spa Hawaii - Massage Therapy Near Me - Kahului, Hawaii

Let me tell you about this hidden gem. Tucked away & nearby Maui Mall is Jin Spa and OMG - KIM has magical hands. I went in with shoulder/neck pain and i honest thought i was going in for a lomi lomi/relaxation massage. I ended up getting a deep tissue/lomi lomi combination and it was UH-MAZING! The pressure applied on my back was just the right amount, never felt the need to ask to go lighter. She really focused on my problem areas and now I'm wishing I kept my 75min instead of 60min. I will be back. Thank you KIM read more

Kim was very friendly and professional. She listened to what was bothering me and focused the session on those areas using a variety of massage techniques. She checked in during the massage to make sure she was using the right pressure, focusing on the right spots, and that the room wasn't too warm or too cold. The studio was organized, clean, and relaxing. read more

Have searched for someone offering Thai Massage and this came as a referral. Online booking was easy when I looked it up on Google Maps and being a Sunday, was thankful that I could book that same day at 3:45pm. This is located in the old Maui Clinic across the old Maui Theater. Enter through the back and they are inside, second door in. Kim was excellent! She used her hands, fingers, knuckles, forearm, elbows, knees, shins and feet. She easily found all the "knots" and worked them well - the pressure was perfect throughout. It was everything I was looking for in a Thai Massage, which opened up both my shoulders and hips with the stretching movements. Needless to say, I think I've found my new massage therapist and location. Thank you, Kim! read more

Had the best massage in Maui with Kim at Jin Spa. I just moved after years of vacationing here, and decided it would be nice to find a masseuse. Figured can't get more local than this hidden gem - literally behind the Hawaii National Bank, through unmarked double glass doors, down a hall and on the left. Place is clean and serene, with two tables that would be perfect for couples. Kim did an amazing combo deep tissue and stone massage, and because of her I've got one less thing to figure out on island read more

I have been coming to Maui almost every year for vacation since 1987. I like to get a massage before heading back to the mainland. This year, I was looking for something away from the hotel spas, which can get quite expensive. I found Jin Spa in Kahului and decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised. The place is clean and comfortable. The owner is a highly skilled massage therapist with a friendly smile and nice personality. I had a one hour Swedish massage with aromatherapy. It was one of the best massages I have ever had in Maui. The location is decent with good parking and the price was very reasonable. I will definitely be back to see her on my next vacation to Maui. read more

I hurt my lower back while working out in Honolulu. Then the flight over to Maui didn't help. My client recommended Jin Spa Hawaii. I was not sure of this place but I decided to give it a try. It was the best massage experience of my life. I walked out of there in no pain after 90 minutes. Kim, the owner, knew exactly how to treat my back. She explained the whole process to me before she began and then started my treatment. I've been to a few massage spas on Maui but this is the Crown Jewel of Maui. Thank you Kim.
