It was empty when we arrive at 1200, but then filled up. The waiter arrived and took orders, they serve beer and wine. We started with Dumplings and Chinese Buns, then went with Sweet & Sour Pork, Mild Seafood Noodle Soup, Combination Fried Rice, and Spicy Soy Chicken. All were well prepared and delicious. The chicken had and excellent kick, ordered it very spicy. The service was very good, the waiter was running around trying to cover the whole place as it filled up. Located in the Pacific Asian Plaza with the SF Supermarket on Spring Mountain Rd. Since it opened, I've been a frequent customer. The black bean noodle is my go-to with a side of their fried dumplings. Its not a fancy place , their jjajangmyeon doesnt have the choice to have it ganjjajang ( veggies and sauce fried separately and comes separately) , but the noodles and sauce is always good and most importantly, the price is very reasonable. The sides are always raw onion with danmuji (yellow pickled radish) and water, the restaurant is very clean, restrooms are also very well cleaned and maintained. read more

I recently tried Jin Jin and overall had a good experience. I got the spicy beef noodle, which wasn't really my favorite, but the jjajangmyeon was very good and full of flavor. Inside was nice and open with tables spread apart so you don't feel cramped. Liked the kpop playing in the background, and the volume wasn't super loud, which i loved. Service was super friendly and attentive. We ordered jjajangmyun, tang su yeok, spicy garlic soy chicken and shrimp fried rice. Portions are a good size and everything was tasty. I thought the jjajangmyun could have had less onions and more pork and veggies. I felt like I was just eating onions. Jjajangmyun sauce could have been a little thicker as well. Came here for the 2 year anniversary with $4.99 jajangmyun special ! We came here on a Saturday evening around 630pm and SURPRISINGLY the restaurant was not that busy. Jin Jin is located on the 2nd floor, above the SF Supermarket so it's kind of "hidden" away. We each ordered a JAJANGMYUN but also orderd a KOREAN SWEET AND SOUR PORK and HOT AND SOUR SOY SAUCE CHICKEN to share. Their KOREAN SWEET AND SOUR PORK is probably the best in vegas with its light/airy but "chewy" batter, served freshly fried and HOT. There's option to have the sauce served on it or on the side. We prefer to be on the side so we can dip some more. The sauce also has wood-ear mushrooms and slices of raw onion in it. Very flavorful. Nicely tangy and sweet. I've been wanting to try the HOT AND SOUR SOY SAUCE CHICKEN since this place first opened. VERY intimidating MOUNTAIN of sliced chilis and chopped garlic with pieces of boneless chicken perfectly fried and seasoned under it all. Unsure what kind of chilis they used but MOST felt like "bell peppers" with a very rare SPICY bite. I love eating chilis and garlic so I randomly had an idea to put some into my JAJANGMYUN as well !! Adds a nice little oomph to the noodles overall. Nothing really to say about JAJANGMYUN. Nice simple bowl of jajangmyun. Noodles just a tad overcooked this time but its ok. The sauce is nicely thick and flavorful. Quite a decent amount too ! Definitely had a bit of the sauce leftover after the noodles were gone so i just finished it off with a spoon. Their 2 year anniversary puts a bowl of jajangmyun at an AMAZING deal (can really compare to prices in Seoul). I may have just found my go-to spot for Korean Chinese food! Jin Jin is located on the 2nd floor of a Chinatown plaza. There is more parking available on the 2nd floor. My group of 4 came on a Friday night and there were plenty of tables open. We each got a jjajangmyeon ($7.99 each, spicy option available for an extra $2). To share, we got 1 order of the sweet and sour pork (pork tang su yuk $20.99, we requested the sauce on the side) and 1 order of fried buns ($8). I also ordered a seafood jjamppong ($11.99) for myself as well. Everything was delicious, and they had great portions for such a good price too! The seafood jjamppong surprisingly came with a very generous amount of clams and mussels. It wasn't spicy enough to my liking but there is chili powder on the table that you can help yourself to. Only small issues I had is that compared to other Korean Chinese restaurants, Jin Jin does not offer kimchi as a side, and they do not have a half-half or combo option for people who want both jjajangmyeon and jjamppong. read more

Been here 3x and it's soooo delicious. I can't believe the jiajiamyeon is only 4.99 during dining in. It's good with the raw onions and sauce and yellow pickled radish, but it's really not to start of the show. With the price I always do get it and it always satisfies. I always get the beef jampong and this one is so so so good! My opinion is better than the seafood one because it has that strong beefy flavor and it's so addicting. The broth is perfectly spicy and noodles are bouncy. I also get the hot and spicy fried chicken with garlic. This one is always really good because it looks like a lot, but it's quite light with the sauce and the vegetables and it's fried lightly as well. I really want to try the creamy shrimp dish next. Service is always quick and ambience is very casual. I have gotten the crispy sweet-and-sour pork and I actually didn't love this one. One of the best noodles spots Ive been to in a long time. Kind of hole in the wall almost hidden in a strip mall but totally worth it. Came for the jajangmyun and the tangsuk (sweet and sour pork) and was impressed. The jajangmyun was fresh, noodles nice and chewy and the sauce was rich and flavorful and not over loaded with veggie fillers, actually had mostly onions and ground pork in it, what was nice was that it was not greasy or salty just right. The tangsuk was hot and fresh and crispy, very good and the perfect paring with the jajangmyun. The location was bigger inside then expected with plenty of seating. The service for an asian spot was nice and attentive and of course fast. Ordered and food came out in a reasonable time from the kitchen even during the evening dinner rush. I usually like the Korean Northern Chinese version too but never thought I'd ever taste it like this again! Heavy! I didn't use the condiment sauce (super salty) as the original sauce was enough. Maybe interested in trying their chicken dishes, and jelly fish salad in the future. But this place seems very starchy carbo load of food which is too heavy for me. I'll have to wait for a moment I'm feeling for heavy dishes. Also this place includes modern (cheese) dishes which usually puts me off. This is a dish I rarely would get because #1. It's very carb heavy, and #2. Many places usually make it either too watery, too salty (Chinese version), too sweet (Korean version), or bad quality so I just get sick from it. I'm sensitive. Its a dish I gave up on, unless the restaurant looks like they also have a lot of other great Northern Chinese Korean type dishes. You know it's going to be good when the restaurant is filled with ajussi and ajumma at noon mid-week. Sitting above SF market on Spring Mountain, JinJin takes up a large space that can accommodate small to large tables. The restaurant is clean, the food is reasonably priced and tasty, servers are kind and things are at your table with good speed. We enjoyed tang su yuk, jajangmyun and the hot chicken. Tang su yuk can be served with sauce poured over or on the side and the hot chicken has a soy based sauce that has a nice tang and is rather refreshing for a fried chicken dish. The jajangmyun here is not your typical as the veggies and meat are close to minced down and it's served over a bed of noodles that reminds me to something more similar to ramen/jolmyeon where it's thinner and a little chewy but overall a great combination. Others enjoyed beef champong and a few other dishes that all seemed tasty. I can see why it gets busy so quickly as the food, service and pricing is all great. Mom and dad were craving some Korean-Chinese food so I recommended Jin Jin, which they enjoyed the last time. Got a jjamppong, jjajangmyun and the kung pao shrimp for them, a jjamppong and a chicken fried rice for us. Mom hated the jjamppong, as did I. Had no flavor aside from just spiciness and really oily. The coating on the shrimp was so thick, my folks just took off all the batter. The reason this review is 3 stars and not 1 is that the husband loved the newly added chicken fried rice. And the folks liked the jjajangmyun. But seeing as our order was over $100 after tax and tip, and only 2 out of the 5 dishes were good, sadly we're gonna stay away for now. read more

This resto has been on the list of "must try's" for awhile. Since we had to do some shopping at the SF market anyway, we figured why not? Trudged up the stairs to the second level. There is a door to the restaurant in the rear second level parking area but it directs patrons to the front entrance. We went around 12:30 and figured it would be really crowded as Chinatown restaurants always seem busier on weekends. But there was plenty of seating and no wait list. By the way, there is a prominent sign on the door that says in very large letters, no dogs except service dogs, (more about that later). A pitcher of ice cold water placed at the table along with a sealed paper package containing chopsticks and a disposable fork and spoon. We ordered the jajejangmyeong (noodles in black bean sauce) and yakimandeu (fried dumplings similar to potstickers) and chicken fried rice. The bonchon dropped off was pretty sparse, a small plate of yellow daikon and small pieces of white onion. The food came out quickly, the yakimandeu were deep fried , tasted good, ten pieces . I prefer mine steamed and then lightly fried but these were good. The noodle dish was pretty good. Large serving, tasty, good amount of black bean sauce. The fried rice was just ok... nothing special. Half way through our meal a threesome of older folks came in with a pink baby carriage . My first thought was grandparents taking kid out while mom and dad shop downstairs. But it was either the ugliest baby I ever saw or a gosh dang French poodle not being happy in the carriage. The staff noted the dog, but did nothing to remind the patrons about their policy. Too chicken and didn't want a confrontation or didn't want to lose a three diner meal? Finished our meal and paid, no military discount. That lost them a star, and perhaps their policy of animals not enforced contributed to it. read more

I've been eyeing this place for months now after seeing a bunch of IG reels. I finally went today with my mom and uncle. We went for lunch and they had quite a few tables of people already. We ordered the crispy pork with sweet and sour sauce (on the side), creamy shrimp tempura and a seafood noodle soup. My mom and uncle were complaining about the pricing and how expensive it was. I told them that it's family style so the portions will be big. My mom wondered why there's no lunch specials... and she made an observation that people eating solo wouldn't come here because the portions are so big. I agreed and said that if they served bento boxes or something they'll be able to grab the solo eating crowd too. Probably be able to grab the working lunch crowd. My mom was also disappointed that the only banchan served was pickled radish and onions. The pork came out first and it was piping hot and so crispy. The sauce was indeed sweet and sour. I loved the crisp on the pork but not the cut of meat they used. I think they used tenderloin so there's hardly any fat - a lot of the pieces dried out from getting fried and it was hard to chew. Even drowning it in the sauce wasn't able to soften up the meat. I think if they used another cut of meat, it wouldn't get so dried out and tough. The shrimp dish came out next and oh boy it was sooo tasty! Again super crispy, the creamy lemon sauce was somehow light and creamy and zesty. We were even eating the lettuce under the shrimp, it was that good! And lastly was the seafood noodle soup. The noodles were chewy, the broth was light and refreshing and there was a good amount of seafood. I think everything came out to be less than $80 not including gratuity and we had leftovers. I told my uncle it was a great lunch and he can have another meal later with the leftovers. And I told my mom, look, all the other tables are Koreans - so you know this is a legit place for Korean food! I will definitely be back for more of that shrimp and seafood soup. Also I saw 2 other tables ordering the steam buns with some meat in the middle so I wouldn't mind trying that... also I wanna try their jajang mein. read more

I love coming to Jin Jin. They have the best Jajang myun in Las Vegas in my opinion. Their jambong is pretty good as well. There aren't too many Korean-Chinese restaurants but Jin Jin definitely does a good job.
