Beef Bibimbap
Jannel S.

The beef bibimbap was pretty good. I wish there was a bit more beef in it. The seafood soup that it came with was good, I wish there was a refill lol The sides are not bad, the corn was just a bit too mayo taste for me Honestly not bad for a $14-$15 meal, I'd order this again

It was our first time here and we enjoyed it very much. The buy one get half off on second, that is amazing. Good strategy. Come check the out. I know we will.

Located in the back corner of the Cheongdam Food Hall. Some of the best korean platters in town that come with seaweed soup and banchan. The spicy soy crab is hard to find but delicious and just like you would find Busan or Seoul. Good comfort food in a nice upscale food hall.

Spicy chicken (4/5)

Their BOGO 50% off is a great deal! Comes with multiple banchans and they're all fairly good. I love their seaweed soup. Stir fried spicy pork: 4/5 Spicy squid: 5/5 Spicy chicken: 4/5 Fried fish: 2/5

Plenty to share between two people per Kisa tray meal.

Extra clean spot. Cashier is helpful and staffs are hardworking. This Korean restaurant stop inside Cheongdam Kisa is totally worth it. Great value and good quality/generous portions. $16.95 Spicy Chicken Kisa tray and $16.95 Sweet Soy Chicken Kisa tray with noodles. Absolutely delicious and variety of banchans were all good tasting. Love it here. All Kisa trays come with white rice/a soup/and 9-side dishes. Best part? We purchased one Kisa tray and got the second Kisa tray 50% off today. How nice!? They definitely have good monthly deals here. Originally, I just wanted a Kisa tray with all veggies for around $10, but it wasn't on the menu when we arrived. Amazing. Soup was homemade very good. All very satisfying. Who doesn't want to eat affordable Korean foods inside a great food court? Bibimbap was also fairly priced and comes with more than just one bowl of meal items only. Self service water/napkins at back counter area. Very satisfied. Yes, we will definitely be returning in the future to try other delicious items here. Totally worth the trip to check them out.

This wasn't our first time at Cheongdam Kisa inside Cheongdam Food Hall, and it definitely won't be our last. My wife liked it the first time we came, so that automatically means we're coming back again. You really can't go wrong with Korean food. I grew up eating Korean food and I'm not even Korean , my best friend growing up was, so I spent plenty of time around the dinner table learning what good Korean food should taste like. Cheongdam Kisa hits the spot every time. One thing I only recently got hooked on is rice punch after a layover in Korea. I'm telling you right now...that stuff is the nectar of the gods. If you've never tried it, get your Korean food fix and grab a rice punch. Thank me later. Amelia was super nice and friendly which made the visit even better.

Kalbi set

This is inside the Cheongdam Food Hall, last food vendor. It's cafeteria style dining, order at the register, take a number and find a seat. Don't get tricked into buying a water bottle. I asked where the water is and she pointed to the water bottles for sell. After I bought it I turned around and there is free filtered water, ice and cups. It was buy one and get the 2nd one 50%. We got the kalbi and fried seafood. The fried seafood was crunchy and light, definitely recommend it over the kalbi. The banchan was a good mixture. They also give you rice and soup too.

Spicy squid

My first time visiting Cheongdam Kisa inside Cheongdam Food hall. It very clean and welcoming inside. Service was quick. You ordered at the counter and they bring out your food. There are options for entrees, tray combos and others like bibimbap. The entrees come with a bowl of rice. While the tray combos come with several banchans and soup. The spicy squid has good flavor but quite a bit of fillers like onions and carrots. The combo tray is plenty to fill you up. The Galbi was great for the price but the soup was very disappointing. The soup has no clear flavor and seems a bit like left over soups mix together. Overall, I think it's worth to try the entree.

When they first opened, the food was great. My Korean Mom loved it, thought it was delicious. Then they changed the cooks, replaced the ajummas with people that seem to not know the taste of the food being prepared. The rice, banchan and bulgogi all taste different and not in a good way. The service is just someone who takes your order, she is never helpful. Also, make sure your worker wash their hands after using the bathroom. I saw one of your employees not wash her hands and that's disgusting Enjoy, if they bring back the original cooks and practice hand washing after they use the bathroom!

Kalbi and all the sides! So delicious! Only wish... sides aren't consistent. Sometimes seaweed.... sometimes something else.
Jennifer Y.

Its in a food hall! It looks pretty straight forward, but id love to hear from the staff on recommendations to expand my palate. Or how to mix in the sides... their favorites. I see this beverage on the menu and have asked, but no clarity. Food comes out quickly! Its tasty! But Im definitely sticking to what I know! Even in an environment like this... im looking for recommendations!

Located in the Cheongdam food hall, Star-Kisa is serving up quick and tasty Korean food at a great bang for your buck! Galbi tray combo for around $20, comes with a good portion of tender galbi, tons of banchan, soup, and rice. The food came out within 10mins and everything was really tasty, especially the galbi and the soup. It surprised me that the banchan didn't include regular kimchi, but maybe they rotate their banchan options. The tray is great for people who love having variety of banchan. And if you don't want it, you can save the $10.95 and just not order the combo tray! :)

Spicy Pork :)

Star-Kisa replaced Tiger Go Go in the Cheongdam Food Hall. Items tried and liked: Spicy Pork Tray Bibimbap - without meat and with meat Everything was filling, flavorful and delicious! Staff is really nice. Interior is nice and clean. Parking can be difficult depending on the time of day. Highly recommend. I hope you decide to check them out :)

This is a solid spot if you love sour flavors and hot, comforting soup…read more The kimchi was properly sour -- not slightly fermented, but genuinely tangy and sharp. Even the vegetables had that strong sour punch, which I really liked with the steaming hot soup. I'm not big on a table full of side dishes, so I actually appreciated that they kept it simple. Not too many extras, just the essentials. The soup itself wasn't overly salty, which I liked. You can season it to your preference since they provide extra salt on the side. The gomtang stood out -- the beef was very tender, soft, and clearly simmered well. And honestly, the slightly indifferent service made it feel authentic. Not overly polite or trying too hard -- just straightforward and focused on the food. If you enjoy sour notes and comforting Korean soups, this place does it well.

The taste and value is really great, actually. If you are looking for your "halmoni's" (grandma in Korean) authentic, homemade, caring, handmade flavors and can ignore the no-frills, don't -care, terrible location and zero curbside appeal, this is your place. Imagine going to an old neighborhood Korean home where the kimchee to the broths and banchan are made with love. The scissors are sharp so you can easily cut the perfectly fermented, primly pickled kimchee and the cucumbers (oi kimchee) are fresh and the beef broth deeply steeped and rich with flavor. Plus it's an absolute bargain for what you get. I think we ordered almost one of everything (for just the three of us) just to taste it. The naengmyun (cold noodles) were fine. Not exceptional, but decent. The saam and chive pancake was very good. Value is high, taste is high; authenticity very high. Huge portions in today's world of cutting back. But I feel fortunate to find a "go-to" for my korean cravings. Like walking into my auntie's house for some warm, deeply comforting, home-cooked k-meal. Craving the dogani bone broth soup now!! (Would have taken photos but it would have hard to judge based on photos alone. This is a place you have to go to just to taste it, not look at it).

Step inside, though, and suddenly you are transported somewhere that feels straight out of the Euljiro district in downtown Seoul. The welcome sets the tone. The mostly non-Korean staff greet you by shouting something in Korean. I had to ask my Chinese server what it meant. He laughed and said, "Hobak imnida" which translates to "We are Hobak." Kind of silly, but honestly part of the charm. What we did not realize is that Hobak is celebrating its tenth year in business. In Las Vegas, that is no small feat. Restaurants here disappear faster than a weekend bankroll, so a decade says a lot. Also worth noting, Hobak is not AYCE. They offer set menus and à la carte options. We went with the set menu for two, and it was more than enough food. That said, if you are strictly a meat-only person, this might not be your ideal spot. The seafood pancake and kimchi stew deserve just as much attention as the meat! The real surprise though: while it is not AYCE, they quietly rolled out AYCD all you can drink for $14 back in November. Yes, you read that right. So plan accordingly. Bring a DD or call a Lyft because things can escalate quickly. We ended up with two bottles of soju and two large Cass beers, which would have easily been double the AYCD price. Sodas are also included. One of the better deals you will find in this city. Service was excellent across the board. Tyler, who is half Japanese and half White, handled the brisket and short ribs like a pro. Our tattooed Chinese server, who looked intimidating at first glance, turned out to be incredibly friendly and grilled the pork jowl perfectly. Everyone else kept the banchan coming with a smile. By the time we finished, we had to walk laps around the shopping center just to recover. We left full, slightly buzzed, and, fittingly, feeling like a couple of very giant hobaks.
