Food 4/5 interesting concept. Raw marinated crab was great. Grilled mackerel was tasty. LA short rib and bossam was also good. There were a lot of side dishes which is fun to try too. Service 4/5 fast and efficient Ambiance 4/5 lots of tables. Walked in on Saturday night and got seated right away
This was overall a very fun concept, but the execution fell a little flat for me. I've been to this location before when it was Daeho (RIP, I miss the galbijjim) and thought I'd try out the new restaurant Ondam. Ondam focuses on gajeong-sik, which has a huge massive banchan spread, and we got the king ondam, which came with four proteins and the banchan. It was nice to have a lot of variety in the banchan, but the proteins didn't stand out to me. It was either too sweet or salty, and I felt that the quality was sacrificed for quantity. We were a large party so we got two orders of the king ondam (the minimum required), LA galbi, cold noodle, and seafood pancake. The amount of food was more than enough for us.
I'm not sure how Korean restaurants started to charge for panchan (we have gone to another one) but basically instead of going somewhere else where you get 5 free panchans, they'll give you 10 dishes and ask you to pay $13.95 a person. And since we had two people, they said we had to order two panchan sets (comes with rice and daily soup), and then we could add a meat dish for $10.95. We decided to get spicy pork (which was meh - overly moist and didn't taste dry and grilled and smokey). The daily soup was a bean sprout soup which was ok. Won't be going back.
If you're dining at Ondam Korean Restaurant, do yourself a favor and order the Hansang Set. I've eaten at plenty of Korean restaurants, but Ondam turns the meal into an experience. Instead of bringing dishes out one by one, the staff wheels over an entire table loaded with food and seamlessly slides it right onto your dining table. It's dramatic, unexpected, and guaranteed to have everyone reaching for their phones before reaching for their chopsticks. The presentation alone is impressive, but the real star is the incredible variety of food. The Hansang Set offers a little bit of everything, allowing you to sample multiple flavors and textures in one meal. Every dish feels thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. What really ties everything together is the abundance of banchan. The assortment of side dishes isn't an afterthought here. From refreshing and crunchy to savory and comforting, each banchan complements the main entrees and adds another layer of flavor to the dining experience. Every bite feels a little different depending on what combination you create. If you're looking for a memorable Korean dining experience in Las Vegas, Ondam should absolutely be on your list. Come hungry, bring a group, and order the Hansang Set.
A restaurant that specializes in a variety of banchan. About a third of the side dishes were ok, while the rest didn't stand out. We also ordered the bulgogi, which had a glossy glaze and was ok. Overall, there's still a little room for improvement to make it a standout meal.
If you want to feel like royalty and leave completely stuffed, Ondam is the place to go. I was honestly blown away by the sheer quantity and quality of the food here! The Ban Chan (Side Dishes) The ban chan situation here is on another level. They serve a traditional Hansang experience, meaning they literally slide a massive, specialized tray right onto your table loaded with over 20 different side dishes all at once. The variety is staggering, every single dish has its own distinct, authentic flavor and is beautifully put together. The best part? The ban chan can be refilled anytime you want, though the starting amount is so generous you might not even need to ask for more. Main Courses & Portions You absolutely get your money's worth when it comes to the portion sizes. Alongside the mountain of side dishes, the main courses are huge. Whether you order the incredibly tender braised beef short rib (beef jjim), the pork bulgogi, or the massive tableside grilled belt fish, every dish comes in very generous portions that are perfect for sharing. It really feels like you are eating a proper, home-cooked traditional meal. If you have a big appetite or are coming with a group, you will not leave hungry. Outstanding value for the massive amount of food you receive. 10/10, definitely coming back!
Came in and got the hansang with the beef galbi and it was AMAZING. The galbi was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly!! What makes this place so fun is all the options! the hansang spread comes with so many little dishes to try, and it makes the whole meal feel like an experience rather than just dinner. There's something about having a full table of banchan and sides that makes it so much more enjoyable. It's definitely on the pricier side, but honestly worth trying at least once. Great spot for a special occasion or when you want to treat yourself to a proper Korean meal!!
What a gem! The atmosphere is super cute. You have a lot of privacy while you feast lol. We ordered the King spread & was soooo big. The side dishes were very fresh and flavorful. The kimchi to the bean sprouts and sashimi were so good! I would highly recommend if youre looking for authentic Korean food. Also the service is great, Matthew has excellent hospitality and always made sure we had whatever we needed. He also seen we had put on napkin bibs and gave us an apron to wear while we ate!! So cool!
The ondam hansang was a great dining experience! So many side dishes to compliment the rice, soup and main proteins. The raw spicy marinated crab is so well priced here! It's a small portion with three pieces but the quality and freshness of the crab was muah! The squid was yummy as well. Loved the variety of side dishes and the soup felt so comforting and healthy. The only reason why I knocked off a star is because of the 40 minute wait for food. We arrived 15 minutes after opening on a Sunday and we didn't get our food until noon. Parties seated before us waited a while for food and so did parties seated after us. Service was not great or attentive. It was cool seeing the meal coming on a large moveable platform and slide the whole top of a table onto the table you're at. I would come again to try more of their menu but br warned about the long wait time for food.

Found this restaurant from IG videos and decided to try it out. Was amazed by all the bonchons they offer with their set menu. We ordered bulgogi, LA style short ribs and the waiter said we had to order one more since it was two adults and two children under 12 years old. Thought it was weird that they made us order another dish, and their chicken ginseng soup. They do offer white rice or purple rice. The bulgogi was good, lots of flavor. Good size portion. Soy sauce chicken was decent, they cut the chicken into bite size mixed with japchea. The LA style short ribs were pretty good. The set menu also comes with seaweed soup (miyeokguk). That was packed with flavor. The chicken ginseng soup didn't taste the what I've had at other restaurants and also in Korea. The chicken didn't not taste fresh. The soup was on the sweet side. I didn't really taste the ginseng or chicken flavor. Upon drinking the seaweed soup, my lips started to sign. That's a sign of major MSG in their food. I tried most of the sides. Pretty good but made us really thirsty. The restaurant decor is pretty simple and nice. Tables are spaced nicely with enough room for the food carts to deliver the whole tray of food onto your table. The concept is unique and efficient. The service was not bad. The waiter that helped us was super friendly, courteous, attentive and nice. I can't say for the other older guy. He seems unhappy and mad. Would we go back when in town? No, tired it but will not return.

So lucky to have a place like this in Vegas! The food was so good, the prices were great, and they had SO many different dishes to choose from. I was honestly impressed! Matthew was also super nice and welcoming. Definitely coming back with my family and friends next time! read more

Our family comes here 2-3 times a week, and whenever we have guests visiting Las Vegas, this is always one of the first places we bring them. This is, without a doubt, one of the most authentic traditional Korean restaurants in Las Vegas. The food tastes like real Korean home cooking--the kind of meal you could enjoy every day and never get tired of. The value is also incredible compared with many other Korean restaurants. Enjoying a delicious traditional Korean meal with more than 20 different side dishes (banchan), with unlimited refills, is such a treat. It honestly makes every meal here feel special. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Matthew always provides wonderful service, and although I don't know all the other staff members' names, everyone is consistently kind, cheerful, and helpful. Even the dishes and tableware have a beautiful traditional Korean style while still feeling very trendy and modern. We always leave happy and satisfied, and we're genuinely thankful to this restaurant for providing our family with so many wonderful meals. One thing worth mentioning: our family is very particular about Korean food. We usually don't return to restaurants that use too much MSG or serve overly modified or Americanized versions of Korean dishes. This place is different. The flavors are authentic, balanced, and truly remind us of Korean home cooking. For authentic Korean food, excellent value, generous banchan, and warm service, this is our favorite Korean restaurant in Las Vegas. Highly, highly recommended! read more

So far this place shot up to #1 Korean restaurants in Vegas. Their Ban Chan is impressive. So far Kalbi ribs were fantastic. So were the spicy cold noodles. The flavors definitely popped but not being overly sweet or salty. Just the right amounts of full bold Korean flavors. Also the prices were reasonable. Service was fast and friendly. I will return to try the Bossam and other dishes. read more

I love Korean food and have tried many Korean restaurants, but this is definitely one of my favorites! They have so many banchan, and I honestly felt like a queen with all the food on the table! The LA Galbi was tender and had that perfect sweet-savory marinade, and the bulgogi was really flavorful too. But the thing I didn't expect to love as much as I did was the galchi, the whole silver hairtail fish, grilled. If you've never had it, get it. Crispy outside, super delicate inside. So good. Matthew took care of us and was great the whole meal, friendly and on top of everything without hovering. Made the experience even better. Also the restaurant was super Korean atmosphere which I enjoyed so much. We'll be back for sure. If you're looking for real Korean food in Vegas, this is the spot. read more

Super cool experience! We came on a Monday around 5pm and there was a small waitlist. We waited about a half hour to be seated. Service is quite slow. I'm not sure if it's just new opening struggles. We ordered 2 sets and added on bossam, soy sauce chicken, and bulgogi. It was super neat how everything came out and the food was good! If the speed of service could be fixed, I'd definitely be back! It cost $66 for the two of us before tip. read more
Banchan were fresh and variety- Korean veggies, pickles, special Juns, etc. My favorite was a cucumber dish. A fish was quite big enough for two people. A purple rice was very tasty and with over 14 banchans my tummy was getting full. Just enough portion for 2 people so NO food wasting which is good both ways. And of course, you can ask for the refill. I saw many tables with 4 or 6 people ordering King Set. My friend and I enjoyed out first order and we will be back to try out other menu. read more
Worst dining experience I've had in Vegas. Korean food is about hospitality and service, but your first step in you feel so unwelcomed. No Korean workers, so that's a red flag already. Empty tables with dirty dishes all around us. We asked to sit by the window. They said no since we needed a party of 6 and we had 3. Restaurant was only 30% full. Wth? Asked for hot water and they said they only had tea. They couldn't make hot water, and couldn't tell us if the tea had caffeine or not. Food- we ordered the king's feast. A lot of food, but everything was mediocre. Side dishes were old. Don't come here. There are way better Korean restaurants in Vegas. We'll never be back, read more
First Try and it was bit difficult to figure out how to order. But their server was very helpful and polite. He explained very clearly what and how to order. So we decided to order 2 Hansang, pork belly and kimchi stew. 20 side dishes (banchan) kelp soup and rice. It was more than enough and all the staff working there come and checking us if we like refilling the banchan, yes you can get multiple times these sides as much as you like. There were bit of smell issues I think there grease interceptor may need to be pumped. Yes it was bad sewer smell soon as you walk in the restaurant. But other than that, everything else was great!! We definitely will be back and try King Ondam Hansang! read more

Authentic Korean food and you get to pick the main protein or a variety of proteins and they include about 15 banchan dishes. We ordered the Queen menu which included all the banchan and proteins of Kalbi, Spicy Pork, Sashimi and my favorite the Grilled Fish. They bring a whole table of food that slides on to the table. Come hungry because the amount of banchan alone will make you full! read more

Great value for the amount of food. The spicy pork dish had just enough spice. The short ribs were so flavorful. I love that they brought out 20 dishes for the sides. Everybody was super nice and attentive. The place was packed with a nice ambience. Definitely enough space to throw a party! read more
