I had my windows cleaned when I lived in Leisure Village and one of the guys cleaning my windows stole 2 14k gold necklaces. One was an opal necklace that was given to me when I graduated highschool by my mentor. The other was a customer made cat pendant that I received from my husband as an anniversary gift. The reason I know is that he asked me if he could use my bathroom. I said yes. Later I found my tennis bracelet in the bathroom floor. Then I went to check my jewelry and found the necklaces gone I did not file a police report because I'm a 71 year old white woman and he was a man of color. I didn't want to be accused of being racists, when he was the one to steal from me. He could have taken all of the other jewelry. Jim's did a great in and out job on a second story building. Great attention to detail and very professional. Came to my home early in the morning. I was still sleeping. Refused to start on outside. A few minutes later one of the workers knocked on my daughters bedroom door to tell us what he thought about the quality of our windows. I had just woken up, no coffee, and he insisted on imparting that information. When I told him "so- what did you want me to do about it he told me to shove it up my ass and go fuk myself". Today Jim and Bob cleaned my home interior and exterior windows. I cannot say how thankful and amazed I am with how beautiful my windows look: stunning, gorgeous and I can finally see the beautiful Carmel valley sunsets and sunrises clearly through my windows. Jim and Bob called/texted me within one business day of me calling them, they gave me an outstanding fair market price estimate, scheduled me within a couple days, showed up on time, were kind and professional, and altogether, I have to say I was truly amazed by how well they cleaned every window in my home. Never before have I seen my windows, screens, and window jams this clean!!! They even cleaned every indoor mirror in my home, no joke, as a thank you for our business! The first time we used Jim for our windows at our small condo in Carmel, he and his co-worker were fantastic. They were kind, respectful and did a great job! So I called last week and scheduled a second cleaning. They arrived two hours early and indicated I had got the time wrong. They lit their cigarettes outside which is unprofessional and also against our complex's rules. Then they proceeded to argue with me and packed up, mid sentence,and sped off! Rude. Unprofessional. Made an appt. over 3 weeks ago. Requested the first appt. at 8:30 as I work and had to take off a couple of hours while the work was being done. At 9 AM no one had showed up so I called and got the ans. service. They tried to contact "Jim" via cell but left him a message to call me ASAP. It is now 31 hours later and NO call. I can understand sometimes missing an appt. but there is NO excuse for not even returning my phone call. Use another service. read more

I have used Jim's window cleaning company for many years and also have referred friends to him I had an appointment for him to do my windows he also was to do my neighbors windows his answering service called the day before and canceled and said Jim would call me back to reschedule it's now been three weeks he doesn't need to call me back I found another window washing company who is very reliable read more

NEVER NEVER NEVER! I have used Jim and was a loyal customer however, he is now G O N E. What a troll. He continually cancels, his policy is that anything extra like wiping down the screen is an extra charge, putting the screens back in is an extra charge, and the list is endless. He wants you to be a loyal customer, but boy, like other reviews have noted, you owe him and he owes you nothing! His behavior is really out of control and it usually depends on if he is fighting with his boyfriend or not which should have no impact on his business or his service but it does. He's a pain in the ass, always has a big turn over in staff and I just don't trust the guy to do the job or to be there when he says...if he gets a job bigger than your's...you go back down on the beginning of the list. So unprofessional. This review is not based on one incident but many and in my book that's too many to employ someone you can't trust to be reliable not to mention having different people come into your personal home who you do not know time and time again. I have used Jim for 10 years- and the only window cleaner I've ever had in Carmel. Windows were always good. Recommended him to many people in the past. However, recently I got a call from him while traveling. He was extremely rude! Then he "accused" me of using another window washer! What? My business partner heard the conversation and was stunned. After replacing my window washer that I used for many years with Jim's window cleaning I could not be more satisfied. Our previous window washer would miss mirrors and windows if you did not check on him. The first time we had Jim do all our windows we could not believe how thorough he was and the quality of his work. It is hard to believe the negative comments on his unreliability as he has always kept his appointments & called in advance. Busiest week of August (pre Car week) and Jim and his partner Bill squeezed me into their busy schedule. I have them do all my windows and skylights every three months and in May they did my SOLAR panels. Other reviews reveal a pattern of him making appts, canceling and then never bothering to reschedule or have the common courtesy to say that he's not interested. He canceled two appts and in spite of a half dozen calls to his answering service over a week, he's disappeared. read more

We have used Jim's service for a number of years and wouldn't think of calling anyone else. The service is outstanding--inside, outside windows sparkle, as do all the mirrors, which they include. Staff is super tidy--booties over their shoes, not a drip anywhere. And the price is right--it's well worth paying the pros to get to our tall windows in only about an hour. It would take me all day (and it wouldn't look as nice). read more
