Specialties
Automatic TransmissionTransmissions are all we do — and that focus is the whole point. While general repair shops see a little of everything, we work on transmissions all day, every day, which is how we catch the things others miss.
Here's something most shops won't tell you: over half the vehicles that come to us worried about a major transmission problem don't actually need one. What feels like a major failure can turn out to be a minor electrical or performance issue. It takes a specialist to know the difference — so we start every vehicle with a free No-Wrench Evaluation: a computer scan and road test to find out what's really going on. No teardown, no pressure, no charge. If deeper diagnostics are needed, we tell you the cost and get your okay first. No surprises.
When a repair is needed, we do it right. We both rebuild transmissions in-house and install quality remanufactured units — whichever is genuinely right for your vehicle, not just whatever's fastest to swap in. Many shops only do one. We also handle differentials, transfer cases, and drivetrain work.
What makes us different: free towing within 100 miles with our own tow truck, up to a 3-year/100,000-mile warranty, and 50+ years serving Sioux Falls. The most expensive transmission is the one you didn't need — and we'll always tell you the truth about what yours actually needs. Repair
