Came here last Saturday and didn't bother checking reviews because Jimmy's is always so good. Cannot recommend, go somewhere else. The sandwiches themselves were ok, not great. The service was bad. Girl behind the register too busy talking to co-workers about personal stuff to take out order, so we stood at the register for a few minutes before being helped. Not a huge deal but weird to just stand there while she continues to talk to co-worker about personal life. When she finally did address us, not personable, not friendly, and we had to wait a long time (for a Jimmy's) for the food. One order in front of us, but another girl too busy on her phone to make sandwiches. Sadly this location is going downhill. We have coming to this location for several years now and it's always been good. The last few times it's been really bad. The staff is rude and never gets the orders correct. We've asked for cheese and paid for cheese but the sandwich has no cheese. Jimmy John's has gotten me through quarantine when I need sandwich meal. The order is always correct in terms of what I've altered on my sandwich. However, sometimes the sandwiches are ultra sloppy. Sometimes they're not cut in half even though it says so on the ticket. Wait times are hit or miss for delivery. I don't mind paying a delivery fee as everyone has one. Glad they have their own drivers instead of using a third party. Very hit or miss. JJ, let's get some consistency! Bonus points for pellet ice, though. I know it's not the fault of the JJ store itself, but there's no option on the $6 meal for iced tea so I try to make the note for who my sandwich is for to say unsweet tea and most of the time that gets ignored. This place is awful! All I wanted was bread with cheese and lettuce, I was fine with them charging me for a full sandwich and full price for $17+ tax but when I tried to make it a meal and add a drink and chips they said my total was $42!!!! I tried to explain the math to the worker and he just kept saying that's what the computer says. I asked how much is a drink and he said $1 and some change and I was like so the chips are $18? This Jimmy John's opened recently in the Green Firs shopping center. There are now three sandwich store chains all within 1/4 mile radius! So we didn't really need another I suppose but there are those who are fans of Jimmy John's so that's a good thing. They advertise being "freaky fast" and on that count, they do deliver (pun intended!). From the moment we walked into the store to "food on the table" was 4 minutes 20 seconds - that's pretty fast! Next time we're going to try delivery (we live a mile away) and see how it turns out. We shared two sandwiches in the "Unwich" form - lettuce wrap style, instead of bread, as we both choose not to eat bread if there's an option. One unwich was the "Totally Tuna" menu item #3, and the other unwich was the "Bootlegger Club" #14 Both were decent - nothing amazing. But the thing we found odd and disappointing is there's no price concession for substituting out the bread. Surely bread is much more costly as a raw ingredient than a single leaf of iceberg lettuce. So as fast food goes, our 2 sandwiches, 2 pickles and 1 bag of chips we shared was just under $20 and certainly at the higher end of the price range. And as is the culture at most all Jimmy John's the staff were happy, friendly, and made us feel welcome. I would consider this Jimmy John's to in fact be exactly what Yelp defines three stars as: A-OK. Were I to decide to have another sandwich soon, I'd not hesitate to use Jimmy Johns again read more

Wow. See pictures. That's my $15 16" sandwich. A whopping 9". Unfortunately I used the app to place a pickup order so I grab and go and think dang this bag seems lite but didn't think I was getting ripped off. So hot back to work and this is what I got. I intended to have half today and take the rest home for my kid. Oh and apparently this location doesn't even deliver because in the app it said no deliveries from this location. And to top it all off, this is only slightly better than Subway. And the most ridiculous part is the tiny amount of meat and cheese. $15??? Will never go to Jimmy John's again. read more

We ordered online for delivery and they took FOREVER. They apologized, but then they forgot the chips. I called and they said next time I ordered to say Lena or Lea forgot the chips... like I'm going to order again (not). I then told them they needed to just bring the chips and she agreed, but they NEVER came back. I even tipped them ahead of time- mistake. HORRIBLE "service." Every time we have visited, things have gone wrong in one way or another. The first time, forgot the hot peppers. The second time, I called the order in, got there, it still wasn't ready, began taking another customer's order even though I was in front of her while I just stood there, almost forgot to charge me, and then didn't begin making the sandwich until I reminded them about it a couple minutes later. The next time, ordered, someone else accidentally took our order and they had to remake ours but put everyone else in line ahead of us again before doing so. And this weekend, ordered avocado, paid $1 extra, no avocado. Simply put, if you go here, expect things to go wrong. I was in the shopping plaza in University Place and decided to go into Jimmy Johns. I live in the same building as Jersey Mikes across the street and thought I would check out this place as far as quality and value. I ordered the combo which came with a drink and chips; the sandwich was the Tuna on a french roll. The staff was nice, but the manager told the person making the sandwich to "show her how to do it the right way!" When I sat down, I opened the paper wrapper and was ready to dig into my sandwich....where was it? I opened the bread and found 4 slices of cucumber, 4 slices of tomato, a little shredded lettuce, two pieces of cheese, and maybe two tablespoons of tasteless tuna. I wanted to go to the counter and ask where the tuna was. It is pretty bad when "Subway" gives you more! I took one bite of the tasteless sandwich and decided it was not worth the calories. I rolled it up in the paper, left the chips on the table, and threw that ugly mess out! I told the manager as I left, as I had only been in there 5 minutes, it was awful, and she just looked at me...with a dumbfounded look. Horrible delivery, we called several times to see how long our order would take and they kept saying it was on its way, we finally got in our vehicle to go to the store and the delivery driver was finally arriving after 50minutes ( it is .5 m away) with watered down drinks and soggy sandwiches'. The driver did not care, the employees in the store did not care, the place was empty they had no orders waiting, pretty pathetic! Owner you better take notice asap that your store has a bad reputation, your employees are rude, immature and this place is need of new training! The delivery here is not good at all.. I've had multiple drivers who can't find my apartment within my complex and having to call me multiple times. I gave clear directions. The last time I ordered, it was 50 mins after my order. I called the store and they apologized due to having one driver. The guy called me back and cancelled my payment after an hour. This location really lacks in their customer service. They frequently mess up our orders and are very slow! This last time we went in we spent over $60 and get this....we get home only to discover our sandwich did not have any meat!! When I called and spoke with them, their excuse was they ran out of Turkey! ....so I guess the thought process was "Welp, guess we will just fix this sandwich without any meat today!" The lady who took my call was pretty defensive and explained that they usually run out of Turkey by the beginning of the week. She reluctantly offered me a "credit" to be used next time I come in because they don't offer refunds for that large of an order. You think? I mean I just spent $60 bucks. Then get this she wouldn't even credit me for the actual cost of the sandwich just a flat $20 which with taxes its $20.89. For me, its the principal. They lack consideration for their customers. They refuse to connect me with the owner. My kids love the sandwiches here, but I think we will just start going to Harbor Greens. Jimmy Johns has delivered sandwiches to my house 3 times since they have opened up. I tried to call and order a sandwich and was told they don't deliver to my apartments anymore. I was told that may have been a mistake and that it's the drivers fault for not knowing??? I was also told they don't deliver past Grandview and 27th.
