I called the store this evening at 1933. Instead of the normally pleasant thank you for calling Jimmy John's. I was greeted by a very rude young lady. She answered the phone with yeah Jimmy John's immediately I thought it was a mistake however, after that statement I was greeted with "we don't have no bread" before I I could say anything, i asked if she could review all of my past orders using my number and she said I could not to mirror prior orders for simplicity. I asked ma'am do you have a wraps because I don't normally order bread. I typically purchase wraps the response was " I just told you we don't have no bread" thenI said ma'am do you have any other types of bread or anything for a customers or is the store open? Are you closing the store? She then replied, in a very sarcastic smite manner "I said we don't have no bread we have wheat" I said, ma'am I am concerned I then requested a manager. She got extremely sarcastic and more rude with me and said that if you want you can call the owner she said because she probably won't be here anyway or that I can come and I can come and get a job and work there, I taken aback. I typically don't do reviews unless the service is exemplary because I feel like most restaurants need the business during very trying times. I requested a manager or person in authority. The young lady hung up in my face so I called back a couple of times to try to request a a manager again she finally answered the phone, disguised her voice and said She is the manager and slammed the phone down. I will never order from this establishment again due to this experience and then she went so far as to call another store to prevent me from ordering dinner for my family. It's sad for me to have to write this message and review it's not the owners fault, but my question is I'm a very pleasant person served in the military for 14 years worked in the medical field to date. I'm truly surprised at this young ladies behavior and is sad as me to not order from an establishment that I truly enjoy. I am very sad writing this. read more

Used the app today and it was freaky fast preparation! My order was ready in no time. I ordered in the parking lot of Sam's Club and it was ready by the time I got there (if you are familiar with the two locations on Scenic Hwy - locations are a few lights away from one another). Jimmy Johns isn't a usual go to, but I wanted to use my Tmobile Tuesday coupon before it expired (6 days from Tuesday). Good: Located in a strip mall with good signage from Scenic Hwy. The mobile order tower is located right inside the entrance to the left (I almost missed it though and had to be redirected). Meal tasted fresh and was prepared well. Opportunity: They don't offer curbside (I've gotten accustomed to this during the pandemic and I don't want to leave my kids unattended in a car) Parking is kind of tight. Very disappointed with how I treated yesterday. I usually come to this jimmy johns atleast once a week or a few times a month, but I will no longer come here. I came around 8:20 before the gym so I can have dinner after my workout. I Ordered my regular sub with sauce oregano peppers and some more freebies. As I went to pay, I gave the girl 5 2$ bills and said keep the change. I was subsequently questioned about payment, that was all I had and $2 bills are legal tender in this country and I received the bills from the bank. The lady looked at me like they were fake or something, I've used them before at this jimmy johns and others before. I felt as if the two girls closing profiled me and wouldn't take my money. I usually order for delivery from here at work since I work night shift and don't have time to bring dinner all the time. Sometimes they are wrong (maybe forget to add pickles or mayo packets), however this night they were so wrong I couldn't eat the sandwich. I ordered veggie on wheat, they obviously gave me someone else's order by giving me ham with bacon on white. Well since I'm too busy at work to check my food as soon as they gave it to me around 7:30 pm I saw it a little after 10 pm when they were closed, and of course I was upset because I don't even eat the meat. I called at 10:15 pm and no answer. No big deal I figured I'll call next day to get a refund. Unfortunately their customer service was so bad and the "general manager" was so rude and told me it was my fault for not checking my food and calling them the night of so they could fix it and now it's too late for a refund. Me and my mother came in here at 2:45 and waited for 20 minutes and they still didn't make my order after paying. The lady who came in 10 minutes after us got her order before us and we still were waiting for an extra 10 minutes after that for our order to still not be done. I have been a long time fan of Jimmy John's having worked across the street from one and being a workaholic, it was great to walk in order a JJBLT and be walking out in about 90 seconds. They are consistent with only the freshest ingredients; bread made in the store, fresh lettuce, great quality tomatoes and lots of bacon on the JJBLT. I'v tried other sandwiches but just got addicted to the BLT. Every store I've been in has the same consistent great food. It's great for a quick lunch, grabbing bite on the road, meeting someone for a quick meeting, etc. They have super fast delivery too! I have had numbers of people drop in the office for a meeting - just a quick call and shortly we had food... and by shortly I'm talking almost as fast as walking across the street to grab one sandwich. I recently visited this location and ordered to go. I got home and noticed the sandwich had a weird sour taste. I called the store back and spoke to Charles the manager on duty. Charles advised us our complaint doesn't make any sense and he will remake our sandwich. How does a customer complaint not make any sense?? We requested a store credit for a later time or a refund because we were unable to go back the same day. Charles told us no he can only remake the sandwiches and we can come back PERIOD. After hanging up on me twice he told me he will ban my husband and I from the store because we were not satisfied with what he offered. WOW. As soon as I walked in, I was gagging from what smelled like mildewed mop. My first thought was to walk back out, yet I had driven all the way over here because I missed getting hearty Jimmy John's sandwiches every few days when I lived in Athens. We often go to this location, but today I called in and spoke with Shawn. Not only was Shawn personable, articulate and customer service oriented, but he was also funny! My son is working through having spacers and so some things are hard to eat, but he loves Jimmy John's sandwiches. Anyway, when I called I owned that I had a weird question, Shawn instantly dealt with it by saying, "we love weird questions." I posed the thought about the baguette bread being too tough for my son, Shawn said, "let's try the wheat I stead and I will happily cut off the crusts." I told him that would be great, then placed the rest of my order and when I picked it up, Shawn even said he wanted feedback. It was a perfect suggestion and my son has a new favorite sandwich. I need everyone to know how awesome this guy was....how quality the shop and food quality are.... please appreciate the small things in life. What a disappointment. I went here on the 26 for lunch and ordered a #5 Vito. I was reading my text while eating and near the end of my sandwich I noticed that there was very little meat. Ordering was easy and the options were great. When I tell you that my order was delivered in 10 minutes... I mean 10 minutes. Not one minute more. I dont think I have ever had any delivery service so quick and this was a custom order. My sandwich was made just as I ordered. The bread and meat appeared and tasted very fresh. When ording on line do not buy a combo meal JJ "this location " will not Honor the combo price you have to pay Alacart for all items even if it is posted on the menu board. While the food it always good. The policies of JJ is foolish. I wanted a slim with oregano. They wouldn't add it. They mentioned the security cameras watch them(really??!). They might get in trouble. The sandwiches are some of the best i've tasted! Their bread is always super soft and fluffy and their kettle chips have the perfect amount of crunch and salt. I prefer the triple chocolate cookie of all of the cookies. The store is always clean and has a nice aroma. The only reason i'm giving this 4 stars is that their meat sometimes is very moist and their bread can be hard, but this has happened very few times. read more

Here's my favorite thing about jimmy johns... THEY DELIVER!! I just spent all day by the pool in 95 degree sun and I don't have the energy to boil water so....Jimmy Johns to the rescue!!
