The burger I was served tasted like it had been doused in salt and thrown on a griddle that hadn't been cleaned since Eisenhower. The PA system must have been turned up to max volume to accommodate all the patrons who forgot their hearing aids. And the order staff had the personality of overcooked spaghetti.

The floors feel like they are waxed with soda and corn syrup, the kitchen has the orderliness of a landfill, and the place moves at the pace of the Titanic. McDonald's is a fast-food restaurant that prides itself on speedy service and consistency from one…read morelocation to another. As one would expect they offer a wide array of hamburgers, from the basic single burger to the lavish "Quarter Pounder." The hungriest patrons might prefer the cleverly named "Big Mac," which boasts two all beef patties, a delightful special sauce, crisp lettuce, organic American cheese, farm raised pickles and onions, all carefully nestled on a sesame seed bun. And don't miss the french fries, which are shoestring cut, blanched in tap water, and deep-fried in an unidentified type of hydrogenated vegetable oil. Meals can be "super sized" for those with the heartiest of appetites. The menu is surprisingly large for a short-order restaurant though, featuring other items such as mechanically separated chicken part entrees like the "McNugget," which can be purchased in boxes of varying portion sizes and come with your choice of sauces encased in individual plastic serving containers. I have heard they offer a seasonal called the "McRib," made of savory chopped pork pieces and molded into a tender boneless rib sandwich at select locations. Given the special nature of this sandwich, it may only be offered in larger cities. Perhaps most exciting for caffeinated beverage consumers is the "McCafe," which one could explain as a coffee shop within the restaurant. Beverages include lattes, frappes, and simple coffee beverages served piping hot in cups with appropriate temperature warnings. This scintillating beverage concept has rendered Starbucks superfluous. Overall, I think these restaurants will remain successful though I wish the McCafe would serve spiked coffee beverages after noon.

I would suggest going inside for your food as the drive through is pretty slow and there is no way around once you are in the line....it's a very tight location overall. One employee pretended to go and speak to the manager but he did not do well to hide his fraud. He did not realize we could still see him and what he did. He then went to the register and said he was "taking" care of it. He did not push any buttons but he "pretended" he was going to refund my money. We was not even behind the register. We just went along with it because it was not going to do any good to continue because they did not know what they were doing or didn't care. Reviews for each part of this business…read more Outside - 3/5 - Outside is misleading. Driveway and look is a little rough. Didn't even know this place was around until we were told, and you can easily miss it. Inside - 4/5 - Inside is nice and very clean. Plenty of places to sit. You go past multiple seating areas to the back to order. Food - This can range from 5/5 to 1/5 depending on what you order. We ordered a little of everything off the entire menu. Anything with bread wasn't great. Which honestly isn't a slam at all. It's a bbq meat place. Reality is, sandwiches and things usually are not great at places like this. The specialty dogs and sandwiches were just kinda boring. They were messy, and the great meat flavors were ruined by boring basic bread. Almost all of the meats were AMAZING. Brisket, pork, hot links, and turkey were all fantastic. 5/5 for sure. You can't go wrong with any of these. Plus if you like baked potatoes, this is the place to go. It's at the very top of the menu. The only meat that was really bad was the Italian sausage. They were very very dry and no flavor. All of us took a bite or two, and we tossed the rest in the trash. Their Mac and cheese and their broccoli casserole were both great. We got the brisket jacked Mac, and it was fantastic. Summary - it's a bbq meat place. Stick with pure meat as much as you can for your main and stay away from all the pointless filler meals with bread and buns. Order yourself a lot of meat, some Mac and cheese, and maybe a spud. Can't go wrong. Service is super friendly, you can call in your orders, and they also do catering.
