First I would like to say that they mess up my sandwich , this was a online order that I picked up in the drive thru a couple weeks ago, which the manager gave me a credit 10 for my next order I came again today to get my credit thru the drive thru and was told that I had to come in to place my order because of my credit, in which manager advised that they didn't have that function in the drive thru register, but let's be clear this location mess up my order once while I was on lunch at work and now I'm on lunch again and now I have to come in for you just to fix it. Customers service is your job just because that function is not on that register could they have just walked over with my information and process it at the other register? Well as I am glad your establishment hires, well it seems employees are handicapped or disabled. They need more training on faster service, customer service and knowing the difference of what fresh and stale bread feel like. I paid $35 on four stale bread sandwiches and some of the meats were discolored. Waited in drive thru for 25min. The longest I have ever waited for a sub from Jimmy John's. I get it we are in a pandemic and do you are not receiving much Business as a lately. Managers should know by now there busy days and slow days. It seems like they are producing to much and reusing same bread through out the week giving customers the crunchiness hard stale bread. I did call to let them know and they wanted the sandwiches back and said that they had fresh bread and they could make fresher ones for us. So, they wanted me to drive back to the store which I wasn't going to do it was their mess up and I had them deliver it to my house. Not surprised to find this store has such poor reviews. Staff is obscenely rude, cannot do their job, the service is piss-poor and inexcusably slow. Whoever is the manager at this location needs to step up or get fired. All these reviews describing the same failures dating months and months back is pathetic. Either hire people who can do the job correctly or just close the store down. This Jimmy Johns serves nothing but attitude and crap customer service, if you even want to call it that. They take 30+ minutes to make your sandwich even when you're the ONLY customer at the location. They ignore all the substitutes and requests you ask and PAY for, and treat you like you're the issue when you have to ask them to fix a sandwich they couldn't make correctly the first time. 0/10. I don't usually eat jimmy johns but left work late and this was on the way to the hotel so I stopped in. Worst idea. When checking out he told me I put my credit card in too early and it didn't take - even though it said approved. He made me do it again even though I said it charged. But I was tired and wanted to back to the hotel so I did it. Of course, it charged twice. I called to ask they could do a refund or let me come in and get another sandwich (co-worker likes jimmy johns). They have now told me they don't do refunds, they only show it charged once, that it isn't their problem, laughed at me and even said "it's only $10" why worry about it. This place use to be decent but now they have definitely fallen and don't care. Sandwiches are sloppily made. Customer service is mediocre. Two times in a week that I ordered from them there were issues w order. First I got almost halfway home, notice my sandwich was light, opened it up, and there was no meat on the sandwich. I came back to inform of the error and the staff were nonchalant about it. They offered to just place meat on the sandwich that I brought back instead of immediately starting on another sandwich. Big turn off. Staff made sure to take the meatless sandwich. I think staff was annoyed to have to make it over instead of easily placing meat on it. Second time wasn't as big but forgot the hot peppers on the sandwich which is the only way I'll eat my sandwich. The peppers are good and makes the sandwich taste amazing. I have to agree with Nicole B's review re: the employees at this franchise, however if I can give them ZERO stars, I would. I tried placing an online order for my family; they were at the hospital with my dad, who was transported via ambulance (he's 84 & dealing with several medical issues, which is very tough for our family). They hadn't eaten all day so I thought I'd surprise them with their favorite #9 sandwiches & treats. I've ordered from Jimmy John's several times & haven't had too many issues; apparently there was an issue processing my order, I kept getting a "credit card processing" error message. I tried placing the order a second time, same error message. I checked my emails to see if the order(s) went through then I checked my online bank statement which showed there were 2 charges that were "processing" each for $54.55. I thought "ok maybe the order did go through but I better call the "restaurant" & let them know that it's a duplicate. So, I proceeded to call the "establishment" & was immediately placed on hold for about 5-6 minutes; a young guy picked up the call (no apologies for putting me on hold that long). He didn't ask how he could help me so I told him what happened; that I tried to place an order & kept getting the error message, didn't get any confirmation emails that the order went through but I could see on my bank statement that 2 charges were processing. He said (& I quote) "Well I can't help you with that; you will have to talk to my manager." Then he puts me on hold...for 15 minutes!!! While I'm "holding" on to the initial call, I placed a second call from another phone to find out why I was on hold for so long & not even acknowledged after he made it sound like the "manager" was going to get on the phone & help me. He, again, didn't apologize & immediately put me on hold. A few minutes later a very arrogant guy gets on the phone & already sounds annoyed that he had to "do his job." I explained the situation AGAIN & he said (again I quote) "Oh well I can't help you with that; you need to talk to our General Manager." Umm...OK...here we go again... I asked if I could "speak to the General Manager" & he flippantly says "she's not here." Ok...well when is she going to be there & what's her name? (I come from a professional background where we are courteous when following up with clients & like to know who we are going to be dealing with so we generally ask for a name.) He (who never gives me his name...really "professional" organization the owner has running here) hesitated giving me the General Manager's name but finally said "Stephanie" Ok what's ther last name? He tells me he "doesn't know her last name." I'm like REALLY? You work here & you don't know your General Manager's full name? NOTE TO FRANCHISE OWNER: You might want to do a better job processing new hires & screening potential employees. They are either not paid very well or simply JUST DON'T CARE. The attitudes displayed during this transaction wouldn't last a SECOND in our business; nonchalant & flippant attitudes don't belong in ANY business. At this point, I'm very frustrated; I have my family going through a very stressful situation at the hospital, I know they haven't eaten all day, all I wanted to do is have some food delivered. I was even going to place a phone order but "the manager" hung up the phone on me after he proceeded to INSULT MY INTELLIGENCE by asking me "do you know where you are ordering from?" This after I made a reference to their "establishment," "restaurant," whatever you want to call it, by referring to their "office." He obviously doesn't come from a professional background because I'm used to dealing with corporate clients who work in offices so that was a job hazard on my part calling it an "office." Anyway...needless to say, this horrible experience left a bad taste in my mouth & worse yet, I still have to resolve the issue of making sure my charges/holds/authorizations that are processing are reversed & that I'm not charged, TWICE, for something I never got. ANOTHER NOTE TO FRANCHISE OWNER: Your staff shouldn't try to pass-the-buck when dealing with an issue that "should" be handled by your team. When I mentioned to "the manager" that they should look into the issue with the website he snapped that "they don't deal with online orders or websites." Hmm...Ok so let's keep putting customers through what I went through instead of opening up a support ticket with whomever handles corporate website issues, etc. I guess since you own a franchise it's "not your problem." Well I disagree & think it IS YOUR PROBLEM because you are representing the company brand. We usually LOVE Jimmy John's. So much, that we've gone to JJ's for my daughter's birthday. But we were very disappointed in this location. The food was great, as always, but the service for customers eating in the restaurant was freaky slow. I think it was a combination of poorly trained staff and a strong propensity for serving the drive through customers before other customers. They also were "out of unwiches" and we had to wait while they "made more". Guess cutting a piece of lettuce takes a long time. In the end we waited 17 minutes for 4 sandwiches, which for Jimmy John's is not fast. read more

Every time I order from this location and set a delivery time they can never get the order here at that time or even close to that time. They are a minimum of 30 minutes late each time. I put an online order in. I waited 10 minutes before I went in the store. My order wasn't started till I asked about it. The 2 people making the sandwich had to finish the one in process, where they both had touched hot peppers. I asked after they finished that sandwich " is that my order thats being started"? They both replied with yes. Let's just start with I naturally speak aggressively. As they make my sandwiches the one putting the meat on is throwing the meat on there. I'm not worried with the look of the food. I'm worried with the fact that It's already going to come out the sides as I eat it the messier it's made the worse its going to be. My cheese is ripped in pieces. I then state that " thats my order being made im spending almost $40 could you not throw the next one together". A woman with blond hair in the back attempts to speak to me, I tell them " this is supposed to be fast". She then tells me they've been busy and with an attitude that my app would ding if it was ready. I reply with no it doesn't always ding. The girl making the sandwich, putting mayo veggies on says something. I tell them never mind just cancel my order I'll go somewhere else. The first woman starts to get an attitude and tells me fine. I start to walk out the door and tell them I want confirmation that my order has been canceled. She then tells me they would email it to me at the end of shift. I tell her no and ask would you leave a store with out confirmation? No you wouldn't but your going to tell me you would. She then tells me she doesn't want my $33. Then some how she manages to print me out a receipt. I tell her no this is f#cking processed. She then tells me to read it and don't f#cking cuss at her. Me not being at my place of bussiness start arguing with her, the girl putting the sandwiches together wants to tell me I started cussing at a teenager ( the one putting the meat on). No I never cussed maybe snappy but didn't cuss at him and it was at both of them. Not him. So now I have both of these women arguing with me the and the one with blond hair tells me "I'm the owner" I said "your the owner?" She responds with "yeah I'm that bitch". As I walk to the door the both of these women keep going. I turned around and said you keep talking because your on the other side of that counter. They were both talking so much im not sure which one said what exactly. I open the door, there are people in the parking lot looking due to all the yelling. My friend who is parked roughly 15 to 20 ft from the door could hear everything with the windows up. I ask her to bring my phone. The girl with the blue hair comes from behind the counter and tells me leave or ill remove you myself. Mind you I was already out of the store and they proceeded to continue to talk to me. I said "come do it be my guest but I bet tf you won't" she keeps telling me she'll remove me, not sure what the other one was saying and as my phone was placed in my hand both of them shut up. The blond one walks over to the phone and calls or pretends to call the police and the blue haired one walks back behind the counter. By the way she was not Mark P. Who is the owner I went to hobart Jimmy johns where my service was great. The employees new how to make a sandwich and it was much faster. You could usually walk into a Jimmy John's and feel the excitement that the employees bring. For some reason each time I visit this one I feel a lacking there. The ONLY reason I am giving this place one star is because the food is good but buyer beware! If you visit this establishment be prepared to not be treated very well. All the workers seem to be disenfranchised to be working there. No, smiles, no thank you, no have a nice day. I work at a retail location extremely close & stopped in for food at about 9:20pm or so. When I walked in, heads rolled. I assume because close is at 10pm & they were wrapping up the food etc. I got nothing but monotone voices and quite literally can hear the staff complaining about me coming in at the time I did. Uh, you're open until 10pm... Well, I spoke up. Not rudely, I attempted to lighten the mood with a joking attitude. They all just got super quiet. Let's be honest, I work retail.
