Great lunch sandwiches made here. They're conveniently located on the north side of 10th Avenue South, right before 9th Street. The French bread, and cold cuts are always very "fresh". They've also got great pickles! They've got plenty of help to get you in and out quickly. The help is genuinely friendly. Earn Jimmy John Rewards, if you become a "regular". Parking can be a little "tight" at lunchtime, but I've always been able to find a spot. Worth a try, at least! read more

Never been a fan due to their inconsistency. Amount of meat on sandwiches seemed to decrease over the years and we like to stay away from fast food chains with very few exceptions (love In N' Out and Popeye's). A friend recently visited us to get away from town for the day. She brought us J.J.'s Spicy East Coast Italian Subs for lunch. If she had asked, I would have politely belched and declined in an emotional manner. She didn't ask, and I was pleasantly surprised. Plenty of meat, fresh bread, and properly balanced toppings. Disgusting, I ordered for the very first time, it should be French bread with bacon, ham, Mayo and pickles, I guess it wasn't my day to get a nice sandwich, who making sandwiches with COLD bread, COLD almost ice cold bacon, and cold cheese? The guy just took a piece of bread from the "yesterday" rack. I get it guys it's still "eatable". But you making sandwiches and asking for money, so I expect to get at LEAST fresh bread. I had no idea this place was a chain when I stumbled across it in Great Falls while there on business. Yeah...I know...How did that happen? When I walked in, the smell reminded me of a great old hoagie shop in Villas, New Jersey called The Hole in the Wall - Just plain mouth-watering. I ordered a roast beef sub that was made quickly. No matter how many times I go to Jimmy John's I am always amazed by the speed of the service. As I am placing my my order they are making the sandwich. I have even had the scenario where I had to change the order and they scraped the sandwich to make the new one. I like this place 100x better Subway! What did I learn today? Apparently 1.9 miles is too far for them to deliver. When I called and asked them to deliver I was told "we don't deliver that far." I got something else to eat that day. First time jimmy johns has ever gotten my order wrong in any city and it had to be this location. My sandwich was the complete wrong sandwich we didn't receive ranch which we paid extra for. Did not receive guac which we paid extra for. Overall the order was over 25 dollars when I called the store to tell them my order was wrong they did not apologize and said the could give me a $4.50 in credit. Receiving a coupon in my email for 1/2 off a second sub, my son and I attempted to place an order on the app. When checking out, no apply discount appeared. Figuring I was missing a step I called the local store and was informed that they were not honoring coupons because they were having trouble getting supplies. The coupon is what was bringing my business to them and to not honor the coupon lost my business. I had coupons for McDonalds too. They honored their coupon and received my business. Today was my third delivery to my apartment since I moved in at the end of June. Both of my previous delivery orders have been correct and relatively quick so I am giving today's review 2 stars instead of 1. Today I had a bad experience. I ordered two sandwiches online and asked for mayo and mustard packets (clearly on my receipt so I do know it was ordered) -- and yes, they forgot to put mustard packets into the bag. I know... not normally a huge deal... but like I said I just moved into this apartment and I have absolutely no condiments in my refrigerator or cupboards yet (basically I have milk and some orange juice and water bottles... lol). So yes, they forgot the mustard packets and only sent 3 mayo packets for 2 sandwiches. I called the store the first time (after receiving the delivery and tipping the delivery girl $5.00) to let them know that there were no mustard packets in the bag. I was very polite when I called the store to let them know the condiments were missing from my bag. I let the guy that answered know that the delivery girl had just been here so maybe she could swing by with the extra packets that I had ordered (and again, were clearly on my receipt). I even told *HIM* I was sorry but we just have no condiments at the apartment since we just recently moved here. He did not get my name or number so I assumed he had caller ID of some sort and could see my order right there. At the end of the phone call I asked him "do you know where to find me?" He answered "uh huh." We waited for 22 minutes. I called the store back and this time asked for a manager and was still very polite about the situation. The manager got on the phone and said "oh yeah, the delivery girl that brought you your food can bring it to you." I told him "I thought she was already on her way." He said "oh no, we couldn't find you." I asked him "I'm sorry... what do you mean you couldn't find me?" He said "we were trying to figure out where you were." Still confused, I asked him "You couldn't find me? You had my phone number, so you could have called me?" He mumbled and jumbled and said "oh yes, I suppose we could have done that." I also added, not to be rude, but "also... can't you print a copy of my receipt which would have both my address and my phone number on it?" He said "oh yeah we could probably do that." I told him now that we had waited for a while for the delivery gal to come back, and if she was at the store now and wasn't already on her way, it was too late and we would rather do a comp or a different promo/credit for future food. He ended up crediting my account for the next time I get an order there with my phone number under my account. That is great and all, but really he should have *comped my entire order* as this basically ruined our lunch. Neither of us like the dijon mustard they have in the store, we like the regular yellow mustard in the packets. At the end of the phone call, I told him I don't mean to be a "nag" but I let him know I was not thrilled with the way this was handled. First, I would have really appreciated a phone call to let me know nobody was coming to bring us mustard. Secondly, I reminded him to remind his employees/drivers that they should check their orders twice before leaving the building. Thirdly, I expressed to him that I think this was all BS and that since it was just mustard packets that were missing and wrong from our order that our complaint was basically laughed at or ignored entirely (even after giving our driver 5 bucks)." None of which he denied, nor did he ever apologize! He just kind of sat on the phone like a lump not saying much and let me do all the talking. I felt like our entire phone call he was distracted by something going on and wasn't even paying attention to most of what I was saying. Anyways, for basic sandwiches, less than stellar management and customer service in general, and only expect your order to be right 75% of the time, you can't go wrong with our good ol' Great Falls Jimmy John's. read more

Nicest people in the world. My wife and I occasionally go in for lunch and they always remember us. They've even comped us on two occasions just because they said we were good cstomers and they'd seen us they before. Always nice to get a surprise like that. Only complaint is it can be a little noisy sometimes, but it hasn't stopped us from going back. Would definitely recommend, though everything in moderation. read more

Never eaten at a Jimmy John's restaurant prior to the one that opened at Great Falls. I am happy with the experience I had there. The restaurant is kept clean, and the staff there is very friendly and helpful. Food service and quality was phenomenal! The sandwich I ordered was already completed before I had a chance to sign my copy of my credit card receipt (but then again, fast service is part of their gimmick). Pricing is moderate and portion sizes are decent. Great alternative to Subway (although their Sandwiches are nowhere near as healthy). I recommend this place if you are short on time and looking for a great Sandwiches. read more

As their national ads state, "Subs So Fast You'll Freak". Have been there many times and this is ALWAYS the case. They have ALWAYS been very attentive to special requests - additions or omissions of ingredients, (and I have a lot of special orders) Their delivery is also usually very quick. Sandwiches have a good flavor (give their whole wheat bread a try for an extra special treat) Most of the time the staff is friendly and interact in a laid back fashion. 80's ROCK is usually playing, and if you're not a fan of this genre, you may think it's a bit loud. Salad Creations™ is right next door and often we get one meal from one place, go to the other buy a meal there and sit and eat. (My wife likes salads, I like sandwiches)., Jimmy John's is a COKE™ place (SC serves PEPSI™ not our cup of tea). and we both like the music better at Jimmy John's. read more

They have a really good menu, but not for the gluten intolerant. They only thing they have to offer is the lettuce wrap. I don't want to eat a lettuce wrap every time. Bread would be nice once in a while and having gluten free bread available isn't too much to ask. I would come here more often if they would add a gluten free bread to the menu. read more
