Normally I would give this place a 5 star rating. But today they only get 1 star .... for failure to be open during the time as shown on their door. The sign says open from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. They were already closed at 8:00 p.m. (Tuesday, February 24, 2026) We left our granddaughter's basketball game at about 7:15 p.m., made a quick trip to the store, then stopped at Jersey Mike's to get sandwiches. When we tried the door, it was locked. The "OPEN" sign was turned on. Employees were working closing up. One employee saw us and looked at us like we were stupid. I've only ever eaten their cheesesteaks- both the chicken and beef cheesesteaks and would say they're probably the best in town. However, it seems like they have 6 different variations on their cheesesteaks and they're all pretty much the same w the variation being that one has a spicy aoli sauce, some of the others have portabella mushrooms, and some just have grilled onions and peppers, also you can add all of these things individually so I'm not sure why they need to have names for all of the variations. Anyway, that's advice for corporate. Their sandwiches are pricy, but huge and filling and the meat and veggies are always fresh not frozen. read more

It's "ok".I like their sandwiches, and the staff was friendly, several months ago. Always crowded at lunchtime. But, there's more, new competition on 3rd NW, now and in the near future. And, I discovered Jimmy John's just up the road, a mile or so up towards Walmart. (Across Third from the Mickey D''s! Why? For some indescribable reason (on my part), the sandwich bread seems much better, and the meat is very fresh. Went because, cheapskate that I can be, one of our subs was free and 2 others just $3.00 each. It was their grand opening promotion. We had 2 Original Italians and a Chicken Bacon Ranch. All proved to be packed with fresh, quality ingredients (yes - not just fillers, meats and cheeses abounded), on fresh bread, and served by an upbeat staff. One of the things I loved was watching my meats and cheeses being freshly sliced while I watched my sandwich being built. Can't get much fresher. The "Mike's Way" option proved to be spot on after adding a few hot peppers. Their promotion served it's purpose. Highly would not recommend if you are a person of color. The staff ignored me for about 5 minutes until the took the woman's order behind me; then proceeded to finally ask what I wanted then made me pay before I even told them what I wanted on my sandwich. Almost took the woman behind me payment before me until they said "I don't care here I just need someone to pay for there stuff". I think said I wanted more on my sandwich besides meat and cheese. Went there and ordered a hot sandwich and took them 20 minutes to make it and then didnt even get an option to put any toppings on it like tomatoes or lettuce. Granted they were busy but still no excuse for a forced plain sandwich. Wont be going back there ever again. read more

I was so surprised, thankful and grateful that the staff working today went above and beyond to make me a sandwich. I do not consume pork or pork products and the meat and cheeses are sliced on the same slicer. When I asked the staff to clean the slicer in Portland OR where I reside, they simply said no we cannot do it. So I crossed Jersey Mike's off the list of places where I can eat. My options are already limited because many restaurants mix pork with beef products. So, when I walked in today with a friend to get her a sandwich, Jensen (the Store Manager) asked what I would like and I said nothing, thank you. He proceeded to make the sandwich for my friend. He was so friendly, so I decided to ask the dreaded question. I would love to get a sandwich if you could clean the slicer because I do not eat pork? Without any hesitation and with a smile on his face he said absolutely. He then proceeded to clean the slicer and I was in absolute shock. Good shock, that is. Then as the sandwich moved down, I asked the next person if they could change their gloves and Jensen told his staff, not only to change their gloves, but to clean the cutting board and clean the knife that is used to cut the sandwich. I cannot tell you how this made my day. The team here is fantastic and I know that when I come back to Great Falls I can eat here. The food is good, but the service is terrible. Second time in a row that I have had to wait wayyyyy too long to get my food. We specifically went today to support a new business in my ever ending search for an Italian sub like I remember growing up in the 50s. Was a little apprehensive because of the long lines, but discovered I could order online. Decided to sign up on Jersey Mike's website and saw that we could place an order online for pick up - it was really easy once I figured a few things out. When we arrived, they were packed, but we were still able to find a parking place. Walking in, all I could see was a line, and then I saw the magic words "Pick Up" a very large wire rack to my left with lots of Jersey Mike's bags on the various shelves -- I walked a bit slowly to sort of get the lay of the land to see exactly what I had to do next -- a much younger customer zipped right past me, went over to the big shelves, found her name and took her bag and left. Couldn't have been any easier than that. Now the food, I had a #13 and added banana peppers, requested no salt. It was PERFECT - not quite like I remember as a young girl, but perfect all the same. And, the best one I've found in Montana. My husband had a #7 Turkey & Provolone - he really only wanted a turkey with tomatoes and mayo...which was exactly what he got, and he was really happy. The nice part of all this is that you can really order what you want, because we eat very little bread, we were happy to see that they also offer tubs and wraps. Looking forward to trying both. We know that the long lines that happen whenever anything new comes to town will die down, but it was really nice to see so many people out. The staff were absolutely great, I watched for a few minutes, and it was very impressive. After the week the employees had with a grand opening, they were happy and apparently still speaking to each other and smiling at the customers. Each and every customer was also thanked, which is refreshing. I feel this is an excellent addition to GF, and I'm sure that guests at SpringHill Suites are also happy to have another option. (Also, apparently Jersey Mike's is a big supporter of Special Olympics and all sales - not profits but sales - at each location was being donated to Special Olympics in our opinion, that alone is a reason to give Jersey Mike's a try.) read more
