I wasn't expecting much, but WOW--crisp, cold, salty perfection wrapped around fresh ingredients like it was crafted by someone who cares. Every bite was crunchy, refreshing, and honestly way better than it had any right to be. If you're a pickle lover, run. Don't walk!! On top of that, the customer service was outstanding and the place is clean! The staff is very friendly, fast, and genuinely seemed happy to be there. First time at this location, and my food was ready when I got there. They even got my customization right for both sandwiches. I went in with low expectations comparing it to other chain sub shops and came out surprised. I placed an order for the roasted roast beef and cheddar and it was really good! The amount of meat on it was decent. Didn't go crazy with it but for the price at 10$ it hit the mark. I preorder it to be ready at 11:00 and the place was already busy. My sub came out at 11:10 which is within the acceptable time limit for me. Decor matches every other jimmy John's, nothing of note here. I went in today and ordered tuna and when I got home and opened my sandwich I had this!!! What kind of sub is this anyway? Far from tuna that's for sure. I called the store and after telling the manager Mike that my order was wrong and I lived about 15-20 min away he offered to remake the sandwich and give me a bag of chips or a brownie for my inconvenience!!! Once I walked in the manager that worked tonight stated that the machine was down and was only taking cash payments at this current moment. I am a black man trying to get a meal after a long days work and the manager tells me "the machine was only taking cash payments because the machine was down." In any businessIf the machine is down, how would you take orders at all. Anyways, behind me was a white couple that came in and order a meal but they also didn't have cash on hand and they used a card to pay for their meal but the manager at the register took the couples processed their order. I am a regular customer at this particular JJ every Monday! I leave my gym across the street after a 2-3 hour workout and I am starving afterwards so to keep on a healthy meal plan I hit up JJ's for lunch. I cannot find one thing to complain about about this JJ's. The minute I walk in I am greeted with a loud hello and a smile from everyone behind the counter. I have gotten to know Jeff the manager and I just adore him. Always full of positive energy and a smile! Kind, courteous and most importantly PROFESSIONAL! My subs change from week to week but every single one is made fresh, ingredients to the bread... always delish! Last week when Jeff was off his employee George paid for my entire meal... out of the blue and would not take my polite no for an answer. George is always polite and professional as is every other one of Jeff's team players! Shop always super clean, bathrooms well stocked and ready for use. Parking is crampy due to the drive through Starbucks directly across the lot from JJ's but this JJs is worth the very short walk no matter where you park. Lots of mayo the bread taste so good bc there's so much butter. You can check the calories they're all 900-1200 per 8" regular. Imo too expensive without the deals/coupon. Let me first start off by saying the place was spotless and the staff was very friendly and quick. I'd say they are a slight upgrade to Subway IF you are ok with cold subs. If you are a person that likes hot or at least warm subs and or your bread toasted, do not come here! They do not have any ovens or microwaves...so, they couldn't heat it up for you even if they wanted to. However; i give them a slightly lead over subway because the bread is better and they have some, more complex sub/hoagies option than subway does. BUT!... Far less toppings than subway . I ordered their veggie sub which would be the veggie delite at subway. Here it was basically lettuce, tomato and cheese. I had to request more topping and it came down to adding some jalapeños and that was about it. (One must never turn down jalapeños btw). Subway you can get a fully loaded veggie sandwich. Now I see why they call it a delite... so many yummy veggie! The triple chip cookie was garbage and the only other option is oatmeal raisin. The jalapeño chips are delicious tho! I got a lunch box. Ordered online and the food was ready for pickup when we arrived. Hadn't been to a Jimmy John's in a few years but came to try the Gargantuan Unwich. It's gotten a lot of good reviews so the hype was high, and I have to admit it was even better than I thought it would be. So much flavor going on and the crunchy lettuce added a nice texture. I added hot peppers and mustard and thought it was near perfect. Co worker got the 18" Gargantuan on French bread and it was like picking up a small child. Breads tastes better than Subway and subs only come with lettuce tomato mayo. Ask for onions peppers cucumbers mustard if you like them. Ask them to cut their subs in half too. But where's the meat? I think there is an option to double the meat. Also, some subs don't come with cheese and is an extra cost. When I'm tired of eating at other places in or near Diamond Square shopping center, this place is an alternative place to get a sub (only cold subs are served here). My coworkers dig this place much more than me. Still a bit bitter how much Jersey Mikes prices went up! read more

This is my second time eating at a Jimmy John's and color me impressed! They're very very friendly inside. "How are you doing?" "Hope your day is going well." "Thanks for stopping by." I love that. The other time I went to Jimmy John's, calories weren't listed anywhere. This one had the calories for the Unwich, Regular, and Wheat versions of each of their sandwiches. That made it real easy for me to order something somewhat health-consciously. Got myself a Turkey Tom Unwich without mayo, add cucumber, hot peppers, and basil and oregano. Made in under a minute. Simple yet delicious and filling. What I really got a kick out of was the sign on the floor in the bathroom. INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT URANUS. Don't worry: I didn't take it while I was on the jimmy john. I've never been inside of the bathroom of a Jimmy John's before, so maybe this is a common thing, but it was a surprise to see. It was impossible to find napkins, a top and a straw for my cup. I had been looking forward to the opening of Jimmy John's because I had (wrongly) assumed that it would be like Taylor's Gourmet...or even a Potbelly's. Instead, my husband and I were trying to decide if this was better or worse than Subways. Let me start from the beginning. As we got coffee this morning, we noticed that it was finally opened. So we resolved to come back for dinner. Excitedly, I order the #10 Hunter Club and my husband got a #14 Bootleggers Club with an add on of Avocado Spread. So a few things. First, the only cheese they have is Provolone. No Swiss, no cheddar...hell, not even American. Odd to only have one cheese choice, but we rolled with it. My sub was decent, but it wasn't anything special. The French bread was fresh and chewy, and the ingredients OK. But that was the thing - it was only "OK"...nothing to write home about. My husband had added on the Avocado Spread and we watched them make his sub...there were two quick small smears of the spread on the cheese. My husband said that he couldn't even taste the spread, even when he knew he was biting into a section that has the spread. Eh. Normally, this would have earned a forgettable 3 stars, but I had to downgrade a star because of the service. Don't get me wrong, no one was rude, but it was just so.......passive. This was opening day (or a few days after opening day), and after seeing signs for "rock stars" for hire, I was expecting a more proactive, excited staff. A good example of this is after taking a few bites, I realized that we didn't get napkins. I looked around and there were no napkin dispensers anywhere. We sat at the table closest to the register and we were one of two tables. I even loudly said to my husband that I needed napkins. No reaction. I went up and asked for napkins and one guy pointed to the counter at the far wall. I get there...and no napkins. He had to get some out. Eh. I know this sounds picky, but if the staff can't be excited when a shop first opens, then I really worry about the service as time goes on. read more

When I walked in to the empty restaurant at noon the staff were extremely surly. I tried to order (#6 veggie) and the guy just kept telling me the total before I was finished ordering - I wanted light Mayo, extra cheese, and leave the bread in the bun. Of course I didn't get what I wanted because he wouldn't listen. Also, there was a tiny swipe of "avocado" on one half of the sandwich and absolutely none on the other side. I had a sandwich from here that someone picked up for me, so I can't say much about the physical location. However, I will say that the sandwich was a total letdown. I ordered a veggie sub based on looking at the menu online and asked for sprouts, dijon mustard, and wheat bread. First off, apparently all Jimmy John's no longer have sprouts. If that's the case, why bother leaving it on the menu? Second, the dijon mustard was barely present in my sandwich. However, there was still more mustard in my sandwich than there was avocado spread - even though avocado is in the description of the sandwich online, there wasn't a bit in mine. Lastly, I was expecting a SUB and I got a SANDWICH. As in sliced bread. I assume this is because I asked for wheat instead of bread, but doesn't Jimmy John's carry wheat sub bread? I know that Subway does... I've never been to a Jimmy John's before, so maybe this is standard for this chain and I just wasn't aware of it. This is my third review of this location. The cashier did not pay attention, resulting in two errors on our order. My advice to the owner: either have the cashier repeat orders back, get a COD, or hand receipts out when the order is placed. This way customers do not have to be inconvenienced when an order is not correctly entered. The location was clean and well-maintained. The food was fresh looking and tasting. Usually I go to jersey mikes for my "premium -fast" subs. I've heard so much about them so being that I was in the neighborhood I figured today was the day. I was the first customer in the door and from order to pickup my interaction was "freaky fast." I ordered the gargantuan and thought it was really tasty. The bread was way better than JM's but the meats weren't as fresh. I also had their jalapeño chips which were pretty good. One thing that stood out was the amount of chips in the bag. It wasn't a bag of air with a few chips in it, it was a legit bag of chips. The only thing that keeps JJ from getting 5 stars is that the experience just seems rushed. Ordered delivery twice this week from this location (one sandwich each time) and it was fast and and my order was accurate. I am particularly happy with how well they wrap their unwiches. Some Jimmy locations screw them up, and you end up essentially trying to eat a salad with your hands. This location seems to know how to make them right, so kudos for that. As a pescetarian, it's really hard to come by a sub or sandwich that is both tasty, rich in protein, and meat-free. Luckily, I discovered JJ! On my first visit, I ordered the #9 Veggie (bread with avocado, provolone cheese, and lettuce), which was so delicious. I'm not the biggest fan of lettuce, but somehow this sub was really good. My second visit, I decided to try the tuna sub (with cheese) which was also pretty good. The subs come out extremely fast.
