I have always ordered the slim 5 with oil and vinegar (that comes on the Italian sub) on the side and NEVER have I had a problem ordering this sandwich like this until today. I even said to charge me like I don't care what you have to do to get me this sandwich with the oil and vinegar on the side or I can go spend my money somewhere else. And they said okay. So I left and went somewhere else. It's a real bummer because I come here often to eat and they just lost my business. Please get your team all on the same page with this type of custom order so people like my self don't waste their time. The staff was friendly and fast. I was inside the restaurant for less than 60 seconds by the time I had paid and my sandwich was ready. Cashier and I had a nice conversation while the sandwich maker made my sandwich. Also, at 20 minutes, this is not really meeting the "freaky fast" expectation. Aside from the delivery, the place itself is fine. It's a typical chain sandwich shop. I've eaten at most sub sandwich chains and this is my favorite. First of all the French bread is excellent! It is also available for sale to make your own sandwiches at home. There are other bread options that I haven't tried such as sliced wheat and wrap bread. You can even get an "unwich" wrapped in lettuce to cut those carbs. I usually get one of the Italian type of "favorites" but recently tried the tuna because I had a freebie. I would definitely get a tuna again. I got really sick on a Subway tuna sandwich about 12 years ago and this was my first tuna sub since then. In fact my freebie was their "little John" version and I had an epiphany! I'm going to get 2 little johns of different flavors instead of one regular! They also have "plain slims" that are perfect for my grand boys who only want meat and cheese. It's amazing how many options this place has. And they have 3 types of mustard- yellow, grey poupon and jimmy mustard, a sign of a good deli. Their rewards program is generous and easy to use. This small shop has fantastic options and they make your order super fast. My only wish is that they had a way to toast the bread put a minor bump considering the options and quality. The last order o received they left off our cookies, didn't cut our sandwiches in half, put tomatoes on the sandwich when we said no tomatoes and left off 2 of our ranch dressings. You know? I love Jimmy John's. It's fresh. It's fast. It's inexpensive- and It's convenient because they are everywhere! You can get a huge sub, or you can get a low calorie smaller sub. I like the Pepe. It's on the left side of the menu, so it's a little lighter. With chips and a drink, it's a little on the pricier side, in that it might be a little more expensive than subway. This use to be the easiest place to order, with great sandwiches. In the last six months, they have hired the most rude delivery drivers I have ever seen AND the 12:00 order came at 2:15. Don't bother ordering from Jimmy Johns at 3100 Forest Lane Dallas Texas unless you would like to be labeled and have it written on your sandwich by the person that takes your order and maybe even makes your sandwich as...in my case "Mean Girl Katy" although my name is Kathy. Little did Jennifer (the girl that took my order) care that I was calling from a business (she knew this in advance) so this did not deter her one bit. When I saw what she had written on the wrapper of my sandwich, I refused my sandwich and gave it back to the driver. Who wants to chance eating something possibly made by and sent by someone they have never met and that was bold enough to do this? We were also short a sandwich (on the same order) ordered by another co-worker after discussing the bread, sandwich details. Jennifer was probably too busy writting on the wrappers to pay that much attention to detail. During the order process Jennifer was too busy saying, " I got it, I did it, I have that", to actually listen to my order and rude when I tried to explain how we were paying etc. However, once the order was taken, she said "I am sorry for the inconvenience" and I said, "No worries, all is good." Therefore the reason for my surprise to see this written on something I planned to eat. I was encouraged to call the manager of the store, but found this to be a big waste of my time. He said he would need to get both sides before he could do anything. Really? The girl wrote a mean message on the outer wrapper of a paying customers lunch that was ordering for her office. In addition to that, he had been helping her with the order this entire time-he heard what was said and most likely saw what she wrote I by-passed him and called the corporate office. I was assured by the guy that took my call how unacceptable this was and how he was by-passing the manager of the store (due to what I told him about how he reacted) and that he was going to contact the owner. Well that was Wednesday 1/2/19 and today is Saturday 1/5/19 and I have yet to receive a call back for anyone regarding this issue. I am in sales and customer service and I assure you that my company would be escorting me out the door if I even attempted to treat one of our customers in this manner. There's just no excuse for this. I think Jennifer was looking for internet fame...so here you go honey. Congratulations.....I hope they make your employee of the month. Food taste good but bad service Recently the online ordering has been very inaccurate. Today I ordered #13, no cheese, ez dijon, add turkey. I received extra cheese, no dijon, no turkey. This is not a unique experience. Recently, I had to wait an 1 hour and 45 minutes for a sandwich because the order was routed to a different store. The time before that an order took an hour and left out my pickle. On top of that, I tried to send them feedback on their website. I would submit it and then the city and store would go blank. Refreshed, re-wrote, resubmitted several times and it never went through. Thus I've taken to Yelp. I feel like they probably did this on purpose. read more

I have waited almost an hour for my food. you pride yourselves on being "Super Freaky Fast" but 1 hour of waiting is not fast. I am Definitely NOT impressed with this location and the person answering the phone was not very polite. I think some serious RE-TRAINING needs to happen at this location as well as hiring more staff to accommodate the orders that come in during lunch hours.
