Picked up a sandwich today. Haven't come to this store in years because they're consistently bad but I thought perhaps they had improved. No they're worse than ever. At 11:00 am I pick up my Beach Club sandwich. The bread was stale, guac spread was brown (see photo) veggies were sliced thinner than a piece of paper and barely any on the sandwich. Entire sandwich tasted like it was spoiled and was thrown away. I asked for onion I had one slice thinner than paper so might as well say there were none on it. Whoever owns this location should sell to another franchise owner that will run it properly. Then they have the nerve to print a receipt asking for a signature so they can get a tip. No other JJ locations print a receipt nor ask for a signature. In addition their menu prices are 15-20% higher than other JJ locations within a 20 mile radius. This place is a joke. Ordered the slim 1 and the original (with tomatoes etc) was made and given to me. I personally don't eat other ingredients on the original. Took the sandwich back in and ask for a slim. They remade the sandwich but I could see the employees frustrated and annoyed by rolling their eyes and shaking their heads that I asked for a remake. Sandwich itself was fine. I have been to many Jimmy Johns around Cincinnati and none of them compare to this location. Whether I am picking up or ordering delivery, they are all always on top of everything! Every order has been accurate, super fast and amazing customer service. Richard especially always makes sure to bring my chips and drink and ensure my side items are all there. He is always so sweet and brightens my day! He's always so positive and upbeat, makes my day when I get the pleasure to see others like that. Freaky fast?! Try freakishly slow. This is probably one of the slowest locations I have ever been to. It took them 20 minutes for two sandwiches and there were only two other customers in the store. There were two people by the phones, one person at the register and another person delivering. There was just not enough staff or organization of them taking in person orders. You should not have to make the people coming to your store to wait for you to catch up with your online orders. Food was okay but tomatoes tasted a little off. I have been here twice in the last 3 mo and they are "short staffed" and only accepting online orders. I ordered online and it took one hour and 10 minutes to get two sandwiches. The two young guys working there could not have been more overwhelmed! The fountain drink machine was out of ice and I was told "too bad". This particular location has steadily been going down. If you're expecting a standard Jimmy John's sub, you might want to go to a different one. I've always preferred Jimmy John's to the other fast food sandwich options out there (*coughcough* Subway). That's mostly due to the bread. Jimmy John's has delicious bread. I don't know what they do to it, but their white sub bread is the best. I would much rather have a $5 8" turkey tom sub from JJ's than a $5 footlong turkey sub from Subway. They're a little skimpy with the fillings (see picture), and the employees are not the friendliest. I just walk in and get my sandwich, and it's so fast. App wasn't working. I had a free birthday sub that was sent to my email yesterday. Employee, wearing only half a mask, casually said that it hasn't been working all day. I showed him the email and asked if he would honor it. He refused. I asked for the manager's name, so I could call the next day. He acted like he didn't know at first. Co-worker encouraged him to give it to me. I asked him to write it down with phone number. He reluctantly did it. I paid for my "free sub". I frequent this location. Very disappointed. Terrible, terrible, terrible. My wife walked in (the one on vine downtown)and began to ordering and let them know she wanted the toppings on the side. The manager who was making the sandwich didn't hear her so when she was done checking out , she walked over noticed what he was doing and let him know we wanted toppings on the side. He proceeded to tell her he doesn't care the sandwich is already made and he's not making it over because she needs to learn how to order correctly. She stayed polite and let him know she already told the cashier she wanted it on the side. He said this not going on my inventory because you don't know how to order and I got to throw the sandwich away. After him continuously berating her. He eventually started to make the sandwich over after she asked him 4 times. He had to ask her what toppings she wanted and he basically didn't even listen because we never got all the toppings. He put 3 jimmy peppers in a container. He also didn't give us a giant sandwich it was significantly smaller. I wrote the store with no reply. And when we finally contacted another manager she told us to come in and get a sandwich remade. We called and place the order ahead of time and when arriving home with the sandwich it had mayo on it with no cheese or turkey . Someone put mayo on sandwich (that we didn't ask for) and tried to wipe it off. The sandwich was suppose to have ham, turkey and cheese . It was ham , and mayo . I still haven't gotten a call back from owner or anything. Oh yea we she arrived all the workers were outside smoking cigs. No problem with everyone taking a break but the toppings we ask for on side weren't even packaged yet. I went out of my way to go to this Jimmy Johns because their hours are listed as 10:30am-9:00pm. When I got there shortly after 10:30 I was told that they were "open but not ready to serve anything ". Please amend your hours and change your opening time to reflect when you are actually ready to serve people! read more

I came into the store on my lunch break. The person who was taking my order seamed to be the manager (he what's wearing a collared jimmy johns shirt). He was polite to me but he then turned around and said something to one of his employees. I couldn't make out what he said but his tone was incredibly rude and generally made him sound like a very unpleasant person to work for. As I was eating my sandwich I watched him take ordered and then make them with someone else on there food area. Every time he would take an order we was polite and helpful and then he would start to make them with the other person and he was completely different. It was as if he forgot that customers can still hear and see his interactions with his employees. I will not be coming back. I will not support a company who will put someone like this in a leadership position. I asked one of the employees for his name and was told it was Chandler. I eat at Jimmy Johns pretty frequently, so i was excited when we moved to an office building with one less than a mile away. That is, until i actually ordered from here. Last week I ordered a sub and when it arrived and i opened it, the sandwich has JUST ham and cheese on it...clearly not what i ordered. I called them to let them know they gave me the wrong sandwich, and the manager (who never apologized) accused me of not knowing what was in the sub. He did send out a new one, but demanded i return the messed up sub (like he didn't believe i was telling the truth). I brushed it off because I'm a reasonable person and i know people make mistakes, even if they don't own up to it. But then today i ordered a sub and drink, added a $3 tip like i usually do. When the order came, the guy mentioned he forgot my drink in the car, and he would be right back to bring it. HE NEVER CAME BACK. 20 minutes later another guy brought up the drink, but by that time i was already done with my lunch. At least tell me you forgot it, i would've told him to just forget about it because its just a drink, but instead the guy lied to me. I reached out to the corporate office to file a complaint and their team said that the manager would call to follow up, but guess who never called?! The manager! Not surprised at all. They are on my way home from work, and I love that I can place an order when I get off the highway and by the time I get to the store my food is ready to go. Everything has been the good quality you expect from Jimmy John's. They don't deliver to my house, 5 miles away, when other restaurants in mariemont do deliver. Unfortunately when I tried to order delivery from this location which is listed as 0.7 miles from my house they said I was outside of their delivery zone. My friend and I had horrible service- we were the only ones in the store and it took us about 15 minutes to get our sandwiches. When we got home I realized that we also got the wrong sandwiches. The girl working told me that she was the manager when I called back to tell her about the mistake, very troubling. I will not be going back. Bad experience here. I won't be back. Without boring you with the details, the customer service was almost comically bad and when I got home the sandwiches did not have the extra cheese I ordered and paid extra for.
